This is incredible. I found a video about hemp batteries made 4 years ago, which led me here. Really interesting to see even a basic version made. I could literally make my own batteries for outdoor use!!!
I’ve also been following these types of videos on the research of this technology for years and it’s so so surprising there isn’t more out there! I really appreciate this and hope it leads to more!
I’m a hemp farmer myself and I’ve been planning to install solar for greenhouse and batteries are in need this may be right up my alley. But how do you charge it first off or is it just one time use?
@@levitate9they’re still being researched. Personally building a lab myself so that I can run some tests and make one that doesn’t use extreme chemicals.
Just a suggestion, when you don't have a positive connection for both contacts put the top one under the clamp which will hold it down for positive contact then you can fiddle with the other contact.
I noticed super capacitor mixture have the hempcarbon and electro lite mix in one and place on the surface on tin aluminum sheet but you use carbon differently

She gave me an F because it wasn't an approved subject. 😂 now the question is how to have a stabilized charging system... I live in an area where I can build and test projects.
Bloody teachers have alot to answer for. I had a similar experience when I said nuclear was the cleanest form of energy production in Enviromental Studies. F. Years later in a Marcel Theroux docu, he gets Friends of the Earth to admit that nuclear is green.

how does the added carbon layer do for the cell that extends its performance so much? I understand increased conductivity, is that the only function? Also it is combined with the electrolyte?
Came here from a Physics Girl video on renewable energy and wondered why this possibility isn't covered literally anywhere in hers or anyone else's research on renewables and/or better alternatives to lithium/ion technology, especially with the latest shortages on the metal and the very real possibility of it drying up entirely.

Is this a zinc-carbon "battery", or a zinc-air cell? This cell was not shown recharging. Is it a primary or secondary cell?

That is with carbonized hurd, have you tried with bast fibers, as in from the outer stalk?
How do you get hemp carbon? Is it easy as just simply burning it?
