She’s unprofessional and does not take her craft seriously. It’s apparent just by watching her horrible acting. She’s a nepo baby and got to where she got to because of her parents. I’m starting to agree with holding more people accountable for their inactions as well as actions. Honestly this is serving as a great example of the culture shift that we need to make. It’s not enough to just support the metoo movement without knowing there would be some bad apples that would capitalize of its momentum.
I saw someone’s comment along the lines of “ it’s so telling that Ryan called the character ‘ nice pool’ and not ‘ predator pool’ or ‘ harasser pool’ “ and I can’t stop thinking about how much sense it makes
@@lynndavis9207so Justin’s suit is based on Ryan making fun of him by calling him nice 🤔. We are missing pieces. And/or everyone’s a little wrong and a little right.
Its all about money so there will ALWAYS someone willing to work with them, they won't suffer, they won't change and the show goes on! A real pity tho!
@@illyktve7307not when it now means risking being sued by litigious lying people when there are HUNDREDS of actors they can use. Happened with Bond, Batman, and others. RR is damn near 50. Blake is ….. a b witch. Dime a dozen b actors.
Let me get this straight. She made accusations on him PUBLICLY but won't allow him to defend himself publicly? This gag order request is looking like a "I misrepresented myself but the other party has more convincing evidence that I don't want to be made public" from Lively and Reynolds.
Attention All: Boone Plantation is literally one of the oldest, largest and most infamous slave plantations in America. They got married at an address on “Slave Row”. Trust - they knew like everyone knows. After - she went on to co-own and market an antebellum clothing line - romanticizing the old south and plantation life. Watch the marketing videos and ads - you will see how utterly tone deaf and caring it was.
Here is the deal. I would rather see a plantation used for something beautiful like a wedding. That does not take away from the horrors of slavery! Two things can be true. What should we do …just ban the land because some human beings suck. Nope. Use the land to promote love and unity and also don’t forget what happened but the property is breathtaking despite its blood filled past.
@@syreetathibodeaux6114Use it to tell the horrific past so as not to repeat it. Do not romanticize it. I don't see Germany holding weddings at Auschwitz.
@@syreetathibodeaux6114ok I hear what you’re saying but it’s not as if that property would be wasting away with neglect if no weddings were hosted there. They have educational tours going all day, everyday that likely bring in a considerable amount of income. My family went when I was a kid and even as a child I could hold both truths. Yeah it’s beautiful but also very palpable with grief and ghosts of the past. A lot of historic homes subsist on this kind of income alone. That is enough imo to be able to admire the beauty and simultaneously respect the dark history.
The only movie I liked him in was where he was fat& got skinny to get his best friend as his gf. That was 30 yrs ago. But yes Ryan Reynolds has no range as an actor. He isn’t even acting he is just being himself
I want them to release Justin’s cut!!!! The ONLYYY way I’ll watch this stupid movie is if I can compare his cut to hers. It’s crazy to claim smear campaign when her side began with a hit piece and was the start of a… smear campaign. She didn’t use press for the movie to create a larger convo about DV or read the book, she seems to have falsely accused a man of SA which hurts all future victims who are already not believed, he lost several jobs, an award & stepped down from his podcast immediately after the NYT article came out, she released a doctored article w: NYT… she did so much wrong!! This is why we HAVE to remember innocent until proven guilty even when it’s hard. There’s STILL so much we don’t know and Will continue to learn during court. I think Blake thinks she’s funny & yet her jokes seem to rarely land & just come off nasty. She wanted her Barbie wear pink moment & chose the completely wrong movie to do so.
Supposedly Blake put alot of Justin's cut back in because Sony was upset that hers didn't test as well. So his cut might not be that different now. Still, I'd rather see his!
Finally!!! I'm so happy you've finally see the light Heather! Like you I initially believed Blake but after really going into a deep dive then I saw Blake and Ryan's manipulation to destroy Justin, take over film and possibly try to get the movie rights as well. When it comes to Blake's fashion in real life and in the movie, it's obvious she thinks she's Carrie Bradshaw and Patricia Field with how she mixes and matches prints, textiles and layers her outfits in unconventional ways but she ends up looking like she tries too hard and just tacky.
Finally! I was wondering what the heck she and some of her viewers were seeing and reading. Thank God for Zack and others like Bohemian Diva and Daily Dose of Dana. What took so long?!
Spot on! Blake Lively's thinking that her fashion sense is enough to dress up a character seems to have backfired spectacularly. Costume designer should tell the story, how she took over their job. The same with the screenplay writer and editors.
She's one of those people that think if you put a bunch of expensive things together it means you have style. No that's not style. I know people who thrift but have style so when they put an outfit together it looks amazing and you'd never know they brought it all from a thrift shop.
Also I saw someone online say that it wasn't just the outfits she wore in the movie that was ridiculous. It was also the fact that Lily was empathetic in the book, the kind of person who fell in love with someone who was homeless, that kind of person would not grow up to wear such expensive clothes.
Exactly this. Lily in the book is too good to be true kind of woman. She is not coming from rich family, she is not the type who rocks designer brands, she is not what Blake tried to portray in the film at all. Reading the book and watching the film, you will get this the same Lily and same story but different souls.
@sereinserenity2293 I haven't read the book either, but watching that person talk made sense. She said Lily in the movie could've had some vintage item's but she wouldn't be so materialistic to have $5k shoes!
A small floral shop owner could never afford the bags and footwear and clothes Blake chose. I worked as a florist when young. Big bulky coats and pants would catch on the buckets of flowers everywhere. The shop is cold to keep the flowers fresh so no bare midriffs. You're on your feet all day so even after work wouldn't wear 5 inch heels. You wouldn't wear bold prints that overshadow the flowers. Also, you need to balance looking professional for the customers with getting messy making arrangements (lots of sloshing water, lily pollen stains like turmeric!). I wore jersey sundresses, leggings, cardigans, ballet flats.
I've watched so much coverage on this and still have not seen anyone who knows Justin personally (other than Blake's camp) come out saying anything bad about him. Not one. Very telling. Also, Justin made a short video where he and his wife surprised their friends and family with their pregnancy announcement. I've never seen such genuinely happy reactions and from so many friends.
Thats why Baldoni is suing for extortion, they intimidated and threatened him and Wayfarer so much, then RR and BL got Sony to pressurise Wayfarer even further. He was pretty trapped
Except for the younger actress blew the whistle on Taylor - said she was involved in casting her apparently in an interview….. sooo she has a finger in the movie put as well.
Yes! I too have never seen Deadpool, was never interested. Years ago Ryan was in a show called Two guys and a girl. His kind of comedy/humour never connected for me, also his character 'Berg' was a dope. Since then he's just Berg to me. Blake herself is not relatable, some people just aren't but she thinks because he's a 'comedian' we find her funny by extension. You guys get it.
That's what I think about too. He seems artificially propped up by the entertainment industry for whatever reason, to me he's not as gorgeous, funny and talented as we are told by the media he his
That’s where I first dat Ryan Reynolds too, I think it was originally called Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place. I thought he was LAME even then and not funny at all. Always wondered why he became a star.
No she was not. She already had a baby prior to filming. Keep in mind, this movie is about abuse. Lively only cared about clothes, hair, florals, her own product line. Remember her and RR got married at a notorious Slave Plantation, one of the most horrific atrocities committed. That’s all I need to know about these disgraceful ppl.
My theory is, she was feeling very self-conscious because she just had a baby which is normal, but she didn’t want to admit that maybe she wasn’t right for the part and so she pushed outfits that she felt more comfortable in that hit her body a little more. Just a theory.
Right? I had a work bully who got me my job and after a year , I had no choice but to quit. We’ve all been there, even though the circumstances couldn’t have been more different. Grown ups see right through her passive aggressive manipulative bullshit.
I said it once and I’ll say it again, Zack calls all this stuff. Vey smart, never jumps to conclusions and my favorite is he will walk you right through his train of thought and that for me, is the best. Because he gets there with facts. Not because the wind was blowing this way or that! He changed my mind!
@Queen_G I did. I really did. And not only that, I felt at odds with Zack over it. But I am a loyal girl so I kept watching and eventually had my eyes opened by facts and receipts. So I am glad that he was skeptical in the beginning, but that I stayed for him to utterly destroy her complaints. At first with logic and opinion. Later with facts and a fantastic delve into Justin’s countersuit.
This is a stretch, but could it be Blake was intensely attracted to Justin...Ryan suspected...and out of embarrassment and fear of losing Ryan...her accusations are about saving face?
I think a lot of people have suspicions like this because it all seems too messy. Others have said Ryan went on set one day, watched some footage and then him and Blake were heard fighting in her trailer and from then on he was on set often. So he may be the jealous/controlling type and things may have spiraled from there
I have to disagree - If my brother physically abused his partner, I would also tell her to leave. Why is that "weird"?! He might be my brother but he's still an abuser and I would not want my niece/nephews growing up in that environment! Very surprised by Heather's take.
Ouch 😢… as an actual florist I guess I need to refit my entire wardrobe! Most of her looks looked exactly like things in my closet… I didn’t realize they were so bad.
😂 As the daughter of a florist, this wardrobe is so hobo chic. So polar opposite to what Mum wore. She literally wore floral prints, flowers in her hair.
Long one here; This is what I think happened. She had creative differences with Justin as he wanted to make a more artistic film that would support DV victims but she wanted to make a romcom to showcase herself as fashionista, market her products and tie-in with Deadpool. She also was competing with her costar in A Simple Favour, Anna Kendrick, who was starring in a DV movie (Alice, Darling) and starring in her directorial debut (Woman of the Hour), as both had just signed to do Simple Favour 2. Before filming, Blake refuses to read book or meet with intimacy coordinator or No More (DV organization Justin is consulting with). She took over the costuming of IEWU, firing the designer, and started trying to direct the scenes at start of filming. Justin went along because of wanting to listen to women and for the film to have a female gaze so she saw him as an easy mark. Online criticism of her outfits concerned Sony and they told Justin to address it with Blake. Blake took this as a narcissistic wound and (according to crew reports) started losing interest in the film, acting like she didn't want to be on set. She demanded that they change her character so her costume choices (too expensive etc) would make sense and so the script was changed. She was insecure about her postpartum body but Justin reassured and was supportive of her over texts. But he did need to know her weight to train for the lift scene and get the right stunt double and knew asking her would upset her. So he asked their mutual trainer, who then unprofessionally told Blake. Another narcissistic wound. During the strikes, she stewed and started exaggerating and inventing complaints to smear Justin. Ryan tried to buy the rights of the sequel from Justin but he refused. Ryan rewrites the rooftop scene to make it more romcom. They hear that Justin just signed Scarlet Johannson (Ryan's ex-wife who he was with when he met Blake) for her directorial debut. Both Ryan and Blake are competitive and really love money and marketing. Why do Anna and Scarlet get to direct and Blake doesn't? We need this film to be a big hit commercially to team with Deadpool, sell our products, and be more successful than Scarlet, show her Blake is better than her. But this Justin guy is making it all earnest and do-gooder, which doesn't sell. They think about how Ryan was able to take over Deadpool from its first director. Ryan is also jealous of Justin's good looks and nice guy reputation. Both Blake & Ryan look down on him though as his earnestness, emotional openness, and good values are threatening to their narcissism and defence systems of image, snarky humour, focus on wealth and fame. They want the franchise for Blake and want to flex on Justin, and compete with Scarlet and Anna. Strike over, Blake refuses to return to set and calls a meeting at her penthouse. Ryan goes on a tirade against Justin for fat-shaming and they present 17 demands, all as celebrity friends walk in and out, like Taylor Swift. Justin etc are completely blindsided. Most of these demands were already in place (like intimacy coordinator). They didn't do any of the things they are being accused of. But the crew has been out of work during the strikes, Sony wouldn't pay for re-casting the lead now, people's livelihoods and millions are on the line. They agree to the terms but not the accusations. Now, every time Blake doesn't get what she wants, Justin knows she will falsely accuse him of things that would cancel him and refuse to work, torpedoing the whole film and his career. She keeps misinterpreting their scenes together to threaten smearing him and he says he's not even attracted to her, another narcissistic wound. She gradually takes full control and starts triangulating the cast, smearing Justin and promising the first boyfriend actor roles in Simple Favour 2 and Batman, giving the young Lily actor couture clothes, love-bombing Jenny Slate. When Justin doesn't love the rooftop scene rewrite that she pretends she wrote, she has Ryan and Taylor load on and he caves. Everything is going her way until she wedges her way into the editing, fires the editors and puts in Ryan's editors to make her own cut. Her agreement with Sony is that only if her cut scores higher with test audiences will it be released. She puts together a her-friends and family screening, cutting out Justin/Wayfarer altogether, to skew feedback in her favour. Still, overall, the audiences score his take higher. So she refuses to promote the film unless her cut is released. Sony caves, though secretly having her editors put back much of his cut because she has made the film completely focused on her, losing key components of the story. Justin takes the high road, putting ego aside, as long as it will still support DV survivors, whatever. She has him banned from the premiere altogether, only caving to allow him to wait in the basement while she and Ryan and Wolverine do the red carpet, and then his side (including the production company) can watch in a separate, empty theatre, and can't go to the after party they pay for. This is his first time, as director, seeing final cut. The film is a hit, largely as there is already a huge fan base for the book. But many fans have issues with it not being as close to the book and not truly reflecting DV experience. Then Blake is tone-deaf on the promo tour: dismissive of DV survivors, should I give them my cell number?, wear your florals, my Louboutons!, drink my booze product cocktail named after the abuser in the film. Whereas Justin keeps the focus on DV survivors, directing them to resources like No More, praising Blake the whole time and how much she did beyond acting. Huge backlash against Blake, big narcissistic wound. And Ryan still doesn't have the rights to the franchise. So false accusations to: 1) get the rights through the morality clause, 2) deflect public criticism, 3) shift blame to Justin, 4) cancelling Justin = tanking Wayfarer = messing up Scarlet's directorial debut. It wasn't that she caught feelings or Ryan was jealous of Justin. They look down on him as a do-gooder sensitive wimp who will never be as rich and famous as them. It was all about power, ego and money. Most of all, ego. Ryan's creation of the Nicepool character, mocking his feminism and niceness, calling for an intimacy coordinator, having Ladypool kill him in front of a flower shop, is psychologically interesting. It is so like the quarterback and the cheerleader bullying the art student, revealing immaturity, insecurity, narcissism and arrogance. Think of Justin's depth, comfort with intimacy, maturity, etc. in comments like how he and his wife can stare into each others' eyes silently, some of their most beautiful moments where when only she had O, etc. And Blake's responses: she'd be mortified if intimacy was focused just on her pleasure, it's sociopathic to stare into a lover's eyes, she and Ryan talk all the time and it's more than cute. Who Justin is held up a threatening mirror to this couple, showing how shallow, egoistic, materialistic, how ultimately un-evolved, they are, and for that too he needed to be destroyed. Blake seems a full-on narcissist with a long track record of bullying and entitlement and self-regard. But I think Ryan is smarter, more self-aware, has become more entitled and narcissistic with fame, but is essentially insecure, and has a need, with his businesses too, to prove himself constantly. His humour hits because it doesn't just attack others, it also exposes his vulnerabilities, and shows genuine empathy at times, which a true narcissist would never allow. Hard to say who was the main driver of this campaign. But I hope this exposure will lead to justice for Justin, disempowerment and invisibility for Blake, and real soul-searching for Ryan.
The person that should be suing is Coleen Hoover for the bull shit these two are pulling. They ruined this story. And I want to say , they should’ve just agreed to not work together (because they’re awful together) and went their separate ways, instead of getting all this stink on them.
Wtf is Heather doing? She’s babbling about a zillion different topics jumping from one to another. I saw Zach on IG earlier promoting that he was going to be on juicy scoop and he was looking forward to coming on the pod and hoping to clarify some misconception that Heather has on the Blake lively Justin Baldoni news. But I don’t know if she’s going to slow down and let him actually speak. And I don’t know if I could watch her run around in circles for much longer.
If you want to say that Blake didn’t want to be asked about wardrobe, the thing is that has nothing to do with her belly comment. That was so tone-deaf considering Blake was obviously pregnant, so why wouldn’t the interviewer mention her baby bump? It was a positive commen, she thought. Maybe Blake was insecure about her belly but then you should make it clear before interview that you don’t want questions about that. ALSO, the film that the lady was asking about had distinct wardrobe like from the olden days, so the wardrobe was a relevant question, so it doesn’t even make sense to act like she was only asking women about wardrobe. I’m SURE she would’ve asked the men as well because the wardrobe was interesting! No excuses for the behavior. Even if she was being funny, it was tonedeaf & she made the joke to an infertile women. That should have taught her the lesson that you don’t ask about a random lady’s baby bump that isn’t there….who does that? lol
I think you and Zach complement each other very well! He’s not afraid to voice his opinions, he’s well spoken, clear and concise in his perceptions, the two of you have great rapport! I would have liked to have heard a little bit more from Zach, but it was a GREAT episode, thank you Heather for all your fascinating content, I appreciate all the work you do to bring us that content consistently and generously and I know it’s way more work than we even know, i’ve said this before, but your podcast has been a much needed bright spot in a really brutal and painful year. Thank you for all the laughs and enjoyment you give❤
I thought the interview Ryan had with the other love interest of Blake/Lilly was kinda like he was talking to Justin. Justin will be more than ok. I think he knows it too. People now know him and according to the recordings, text and Blake's well-known reputation in the business Justin will win these lawsuits be super rich and will keep working.
Ryan is like Taylor Swift. His emotions are projected in the ad libs he makes in his movies. Candace Owens is right. The truth can be found in what Nicepool said in that movie. Also, in the skit interview RR made with Brandon Skelnar where both Ryan's mom and Hugh said they are interviewing BL leading man and MAN TRYING TO REPLACE RYAN
I think Blake picked the clothes she did because they were all baggy and Blake is upset that she is not as svelte as she was years ago. Remember she got mad at the interviewer for mentioning her baby bump. The clothes are dreadful. I had never seen Blake or Baldoni in anything and now because of this, I am a woman in my 60s watching Gossip Girl, which I'm enjoying and I'm conflicted about that. Lively isn't good in it. Leighton Meester is fantastic. She is who makes the show fun to watch.
I was hoping he wouldn't settle, because then it wouldn't be outed publicly so that their deeds are on display. I hope Justin's lawyer buries them in court. It's nice to see someone who normally gets away with things be outed for how they treat others.
Taylor not being involved is total BS. The young Lily actress said on the red carpet that Taylor was involved in her casting. Her involment was no way just a song or an opinion over wine.
Baldoni’s business partner is a billionaire that cares nothing about his billions. Ryan didn’t take into consideration that baldoni is only worth $4mil but baldoni also has a dragon. Most assuredly the partner is paying the legal fees
Never could understand what the big hoopla was about Blake Lively. She is bland and awkward yet loves to hear the sound of her own voice spilling out a bunch of word salad. Blah blah blah.
Her sister was dating Jason Priestly fro. 90210 when Blake was little. There were lots of family connections with other stars. I remember photos of her with Jason and that is how I first was introduced to her. Its the Nepo baby effect.
How did she get his texts in the first place? I tried to get a record of MY OWN texts one time, and it required an act of Congress. And how was NYT legally able to publish his texts? Those were my very first questions, and they've never been answered.
If she passed on reading the book that's fine, but at least accept direction and every other professional on set e.g the wardrobe people because they read the book and wrote down the vision. That jokey relationship of theirs ( Reynolds and Blake) has no intimacy & they hide it behind jokes. It's the reason why she is so awkward on the intimacy scenes & has to giggle and be uncomfortable because it's foreign to her. Reynolds gives small man, easily intimidated by others & he uses his money and influence to make him feel better, all these things would never have happened if Blake's co-star was some mid looking guy, this or he had a crash on Baldoni and was jealous of his wife getting to act with him.
BL said that she and hubby talk constantly. She was giddy in love with her costar JB and all she did at home was talk about her day filming with her new crush. RR is a control freak and felt threatened by JB (who is way hotter than RR)
The amusing part is that no matter the court outcome, Justin has reached a level he never imagined. I'm eagerly anticipating his next movie. I hope he can reproduce this movie and replace Blake as the lead character.
My thoughts. Ryan thought he’s wife 11 years younger was getting a little too close to Justin. When she realized Ryan was worried and wanted to see all the Dailies she was stuck in a no win situation. Ryan got involved and it started spinning and not to her benefit. Now a court date has been set!
Im happy Heather finally sees the light, but I dont buy the theory that RR is behind this. Colleen wants the rights back, a clause in the contract says it would revert back to her if JB would be accuse of something bad. Blake said in an interview "if she gets her rights back, id follow her anywhere." That's the theory that makes sense. And she uses her pet dragons to get there. Tswift is probably someone Colleen wants to be friends with as well. Blake disrespected the director, the writer, the editors and the waredrobe dept., this looks bad for her and her husband.
Can I be nasty for a second and just say that Sloan Bella did say that Ryan Renolds is gay and Blake and him have a loving understanding. That’s their business, can’t confirm or deny but in my opinion I feel that.
59:25 you’re so right.. when my ex was abusive towards me, his family took HIS side because it’s HIS family. This line wasn’t written by a DV survivor, obviously! 😡
Power/collaboration struggles between people of the opposite sex happen on jobs, but that doesn't always mean sexual harassment. Lively signed a contract to act in intimate love scenes and a rape scene. Baldoni hired an intimacy coordinator but Lively refused to meet with her. Lively filed her complaint/lawsuit only after the movie was done (her final cut was used) and after she lost public support because she mishandled promotional interviews. She held power over Baldoni by using Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Swift to get her way on the script, casting, music, wardrobe, etc. Can you imagine trying to produce/direct a movie with those three ganging up on you? I doubt Lively is going to win this lawsuit but either way, the world has seen an ugly side of her, Reynolds, and Swift. She should remember that in the Game of Thrones, Calisse's dragons didn't save her.
If B&R smear JB’s name he looses his rights to the film..Colleen Hoover then can give the rights to Ryan…for lots more $$$ obviously and that’s what Ryan wants in the end…to destroy JB at any cost!
ALSO - Justin Baldoni is 41. Ryan Reynolds is pushing 50. Having dated an older guy with an age gap like Blake and Ryan, I can tell you they are super insecure the whole time that you secretly want a “young stud”. Men feel the loss of their virility in a huge way, a guy once described it to me as when they’re young and full of testosterone, men think they’re “14 feet tall”. Then aging hits and they realize they’re not. Superman realizes he is now back to being Clark Kent…forever. So Ryan is at that stage, watching a guy who’s a decade younger getting close to his wife.
I say this a lot. When a man hits fifty+, its not mean but normal that their smell changes. Instead of their body smelling sexy, they end up more like the Labrador that farts. If you see Ryan at the recent stage event with Jackman, you can see him sweating and looking old, like a grandpa. Its natural and its happening and he is very self conscious of it.
Hey Heather - ppl are soooo crazy over the Blake and Justin topic. I have no idea why ppl care so much and go to the point of leaving nasty comments. I totally understand you’re a comedian and not the news. Thanks for bringing this free content 2x a week every week!
If you are going to comment on a subject, you need to, at the very least, get your facts right. Slacking off and hiding behind, I'm not news, I'm a comedian is a cop out. Get off your podcast if you are going to produce fake news. Also, have the grace to allow your guests to answer a question without butting in with mindless jibber jabber. So frustrating for the listener! Zack is a saint for putting up with your rudeness.
Justin TURNED DOWN Reynolds offer to buy the movie(s) rights to Hoovers books BUT Get this, there was a MORALITY clause that Justin signed when he bought the rights from Colleen Hoover, MEANING that IF Baldoni violated that clause, Baldoni would no longer have the movie rights... Baldoni wouldn't sell...so Reynolds and Lively are trying to steal the rights from him with this sexual harassment claim. IF Baldoni is found guilty, he would have VOILATED, this morality clause, and Hoover could sell the rights to Reynolds...for a fair price, I'm sure 😂 THATS a huge piece of this puzzle, in my opinion. Candace Owens has an incredible breakdown explaining this. I highly recommend it.
Oh wow so in the wake of the Blake and Ryan debacle there’s now a Cancel Culture insurance for celebrities. But still nothing to cover if your house burns to the ground out of nowhere?
It's funny these rich people will donate for rich pets in LA but we have refugee camps in NC that everyone forgot about. Shame and disgusting where people's priorities are. Smh
Well animals deserve help too. This 1 organization is helping animals while other organizations are helping the people. And Heather likely lives in LA so obviously she's gonna want to help in her area the most. At least these people are doing something.
The flaw in the theory that she caught feelings for Justin is she would have needed to respect him on the first place and clearly went in with the plan to get her prodcing credits in whatever capacity she could.
The jumpsuit was worn by Chappelle in a special, then Tiffany haddish wore one as an ode to him when he was presented with the mark twain award. She literally brought that she was wearing a jumpsuit because of him, in her speech to him.
RR is trying to destroy JB. It's clear from the movie that chemistry was real for BL, RR sensed it in his wife and became enraged, that is why HE wanted to see all the raw footage and made BL request it. This is giving creepy, jealous vibes. I mean come on, JB is sex on a stick and RR is average at best, and totally overrated. BL is 11 years younger than RR. BL & RR met on the set of Green Lantern when he was still married to SJ. The old adage is true: HOW YOU GET THEM IS HOW YOU LOSE THEM. RR trying to humiliate BL and ruin her along with Baldoni. They'll be divorced inside of 2 years. On a side note, I remember watching an interview with Martha Stewart and the interviewer asked her about RR and she retorted that he "isn't that funny" and it was not in a way that portrayed her fondness of him. Candace Owens nails it.
*Heather* !you need Dana, from Daily Dose of Dana - she is a former casting director and she has a much better understanding of this drama!!!! And she is closer to your studio I believe!!!! She is doing some awesome and detailed/deeper dives. Her point of view is so much juicier than zach’s, no offense! And she’s had lunch with Justin back when she was a casting director!!! Plus she’s met some of Blake’s siblings!
Can we talk about the flowers in her flower shop? They were all black, withered& dead shit u would see@ pier one imports. There weren’t any refrigerator cases holding fresh flowers. It was not a flower shop. It was a bric a brac shop!!!! All the clothing for the women was trash! The sister character looked ridiculous. Blake’s choice to look like a working man& an early 90s rapper was hysterical. Cartharts& that blue one piece is mechanical overalls! The mom jeans& tank tops😂 her hair was def a wig! Her hair line is different than that! She has a widow’s peak & it’s higher on the right side. She couldn’t even commit to coloring her hair for a year! Justin’s character had great clothing! Even his dr’s scrubs made him look hot! Blake looks were dated& made her appear even older than she is
Yes I totally agree. Everything to do with Blake's character was off.... I got the impression she thought she was pulling off a less whimsical version of Sarah Jessica Parkers fashion in SATC? Instead of pulling off "effortless edgy", she gave clueless hobo
Ryan and Blake are mean people. Justin is on the spectrum, so his personality is A-typical, and they took full advantage of that in order to try and take over. He's too nice, and they are too mean.
It had to be a wig, red is the most difficult color to remove, and go back to blonde. My daughter did that, and it made her cry. It took two bleachings, and a rest for the blond to be put on, it was a couple of days later, so she had to wear it to school. It turned out beautifully, but my stylist said she wouldn’t do it again.
Blake Lively has long flaunted that she doesn't have a stylist. All the compliments she's received for her fashion choices must have warped her perception.
How are you going to star in an adaptation and not read the book?! Not even the audio version?? Thats just weird.
Yet she took over the movie and had to make it her own! I don't understand it.
Sooo lazy. Lame
Right and she bragged like it was a cool thing... 🥴
She’s above reading the book, duh!
She’s unprofessional and does not take her craft seriously. It’s apparent just by watching her horrible acting. She’s a nepo baby and got to where she got to because of her parents. One thing she couldn’t get was Justin. No matter how many times she tried to flirt and pump in front of him, so she took his movie instead! She’s diabolical and now that she fu**ed around, can’t wait to see her find out.
Colleen and Brendan are terrible people. They knew Justin was not a bad guy esp Colleen after knowing him 5 yrs. They deserve their downfall.
Yeah, and Brendan is coming out with a movie soon, that I'm NOT going to support
Zack P getting hotter. Lean muscle goals.
I’m starting to agree with holding more people accountable for their inactions as well as actions. Honestly this is serving as a great example of the culture shift that we need to make. It’s not enough to just support the metoo movement without knowing there would be some bad apples that would capitalize of its momentum.
Collens actions are very disappointing, i would think a author would have more of a heart ❤️
I saw someone’s comment along the lines of “ it’s so telling that Ryan called the character ‘ nice pool’ and not ‘ predator pool’ or ‘ harasser pool’ “ and I can’t stop thinking about how much sense it makes
Omg....that makes soooo much sense!!!

Let me get this straight. She made accusations on him PUBLICLY but won't allow him to defend himself publicly? This gag order request is looking like a "I misrepresented myself but the other party has more convincing evidence that I don't want to be made public" from Lively and Reynolds.
Exactly!!
Nailed it.
She seems to me like the kind of woman that thinks every man she meets wants her. I think her feelings got hurt that Justin wasn’t interested.

Thx for this did not know
Here is the deal.

Ryan Reynolds is Ryan Reynold in Ryan Reynolds. Thats every one of his movies. we can do without him yall lol
Same with Blake. All about her being herself.
The only movie I liked him in was where he was fat& got skinny to get his best friend as his gf. That was 30 yrs ago. But yes Ryan Reynolds has no range as an actor. He isn’t even acting he is just being himself
@@jennydefranthe only movie I liked that she did was the shallows.
She looked like a hobo 😂
EXACTLY, Ryan Reynolds has a fake persona too. I feel like he’s copying Jim Carrey. They are both so manufactured it’s like watching performance art.
Justice for Baldoni! Blake and Ryan are DISGUSTING. Both are, equally!
Finally!!! We will get a clear, concise & accurate account... from Zack Peter!!! 🎉❤

Justin was wearing purple for domestic violence at the premier.
Blake was a producer and actress. She was not an executive producer. Why she made her own cut or was allowed to is shocking.
Thats why Baldoni is suing for extortion, they intimidated and threatened him and Wayfarer so much, then RR and BL got Sony to pressurise Wayfarer even further. He was pretty trapped
My thoughts exactly!!! 😮
Executive producers on films is a nuts and bolts producer and producer on films is a creative producer. On TV shows it’s the opposite.

I've never seen deadpool either and have never been a huge fan of his...but him and Anna Faris in Just Friends is one of my fave movies

@lynndavis9207 I haven't seen that either but I do love The Proposal. But I couldn't handle his serious scenes.
That’s where I first dat Ryan Reynolds too, I think it was originally called Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place. I thought he was LAME even then and not funny at all. Always wondered why he became a star.
I loved it when Heather was trying to say Dasani and Zack's reaction! Great show!
Blake was 8 months pregnant, it would have been weird not to acknowledge it.
During filming? No think she just had a baby
This was during the ‘little bump’ interview I believe
No she was not. She already had a baby prior to filming. Keep in mind, this movie is about abuse. Lively only cared about clothes, hair, florals, her own product line. Remember her and RR got married at a notorious Slave Plantation, one of the most horrific atrocities committed. That’s all I need to know about these disgraceful ppl.
@@ljmac9679they’re referring to the baby bump comment lol she was 8 months when she acted like it was rude to acknowledge
Not that I do not agree with you on Ryan's part in this but let us not forget their ulterior motive was to get ownership of the sequel Justin owned.
My theory is, she was feeling very self-conscious because she just had a baby which is normal, but she didn’t want to admit that maybe she wasn’t right for the part and so she pushed outfits that she felt more comfortable in that hit her body a little more.
Just a theory.

She didn’t let Zack talk, so what did we really learn? 😂
100% I’m predicting Blake will put out a statement and come out against her husband Ryan. “He made me do it!” Bet.
I thought the same thing. That's the only way she can salvage herself
I said it once and I’ll say it again, Zack calls all this stuff. Vey smart, never jumps to conclusions and my favorite is he will walk you right through his train of thought and that for me, is the best. Because he gets there with facts. Not because the wind was blowing this way or that! He changed my mind!
You believed Blake with her obviously bullsh*t complaint at first?
So he may be the jealous/controlling type and things may have spiraled from there
I don’t even think a “crush” would be necessary for him to have that reaction.
I have to disagree - If my brother physically abused his partner, I would also tell her to leave. Why is that "weird"?! He might be my brother but he's still an abuser and I would not want my niece/nephews growing up in that environment! Very surprised by Heather's take.
some people are like that. they'll put family first, even when they're in the wrong.
I guess b/c in the movie they didn’t show the info being shared with the sister that much
If you watched the movie which clearly miss juicy or whatever didn’t say is that the the sister in the film. Said both.
Ouch 😢… as an actual florist I guess I need to refit my entire wardrobe! Most of her looks looked exactly like things in my closet… I didn’t realize they were so bad.
Drop the name of your florist shop so we can support 💝
Zack is such a great compliment to your show! Love when he’s on ❤
The person that should be suing is Coleen Hoover for the bull shit these two are pulling.
This is literally a copy of Candace Owens’ theory. She’s been on this for days.
Thanks for having Zack on! Love his coverage of this case!❤
Sorry. But the man couldn’t finish a thought without being interrupted. It’s too much.
Dude! You put amazing pieces together when you talked about the rooftop scene. That was Ryan’s pick for Blake.
Right! The new dad stuff was weird too lol and the meth part 🫣
Heather is now sounding unhinged and she’s not going to let Zack say one god damn word about how Ryan and Blake stole Justin’s movie
I have to point out that Kjersti Flaa said in a recent video that Anne Hathaway called her and personally apologised. Blake didn't do that though.
She is amazing 😊
I love a Blossom reference ❤
Cackled right out loud at the idea of ScarJo as Lily in the the sequel 😂
Finally!!! a guest that knows what TF they’re talking about.
Didn't JB's lawyer say that Justin wants this case to go to trial so if that is true, then they won't settle.
I was hoping he wouldn't settle, because then it wouldn't be outed publicly so that their deeds are on display. I hope Justin's lawyer buries them in court. It's nice to see someone who normally gets away with things be outed for how they treat others.
Candace Owens had an inside scoop and gave a proper summary of what went down. You can watch her recent episode
She is so good!
She’s #1 on RUclips for deep dives
You’re right! Candace has a detailed timeline. She has so much information there’s no way anyone could think Justin Baldoni did anything wrong.
Taylor not being involved is total BS. The young Lily actress said on the red carpet that Taylor was involved in her casting. Her involment was no way just a song or an opinion over wine.
Omg I’m late to everything, yet here I am early to my fave Podcast? What a wild world 😂
Love you Heather & Zack (& all my fellow juicy scoopers)❤❤❤
Baldoni’s business partner is a billionaire that cares nothing about his billions. Ryan didn’t take into consideration that baldoni is only worth $4mil but baldoni also has a dragon. Most assuredly the partner is paying the legal fees
I wondered if she wore her own clothes because she was afraid that none of the wardrobe would fit after having the baby? Maybe she was embarrassed?
She did wear her own clothes in many scenes
Who is here because of Zach? --- I hope he helps change Heather's pro-Blake/bad take.

Rich people and huge publications get really good attorneys.
Heather doing fake Blake’s laugh was hysterical
I wonder if I’d make more friends if I could talk about Blake Lively for over an hour… Nah, I’m good 😎🤣😎🤣
BL said that she and hubby talk constantly. She was giddy in love with her costar JB and all she did at home was talk about her day filming with her new crush. RR is a control freak and felt threatened by JB (who is way hotter than RR)
My boy Zack Peter ALWAYS clocking that tea
She should remember that in the Game of Thrones, Calisse's dragons didn't save her.
omg gosh...all he can say is "yeah". she never allows other to speak!!!
I saw that lol it annoyed me too but i think she got better towards the end with that
Heather: You and Zack are the best. Friendly, informative, funny, and juicy. Thank you for entertaining me.❤️
If B&R smear JB’s name he looses his rights to the film..Colleen Hoover then can give the rights to Ryan…for lots more $$$ obviously and that’s what Ryan wants in the end…to destroy JB at any cost!
We love Zack ❤
So good today. The content, the opinions, the back & forth..all of it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thx
Hey Heather - ppl are soooo crazy over the Blake and Justin topic. I have no idea why ppl care so much and go to the point of leaving nasty comments. I totally understand you’re a comedian and not the news. Thanks for bringing this free content 2x a week every week!
Exactly!!
She's trying to dress like Carrie on Sex in the City with a unique style... Blake looked Bad
The crazy Rich Asian lady situation was because of how she was being treated on the set, it’s not a good story, she should have left
Justin TURNED DOWN Reynolds offer to buy the movie(s) rights to Hoovers books BUT
Get this, there was a MORALITY clause that Justin signed when he bought the rights from Colleen Hoover, MEANING that IF Baldoni violated that clause, Baldoni would no longer have the movie rights...
Baldoni wouldn't sell...so Reynolds and Lively are trying to steal the rights from him with this sexual harassment claim. IF Baldoni is found guilty, he would have VOILATED, this morality clause, and Hoover could sell the rights to Reynolds...for a fair price, I'm sure 😂
THATS a huge piece of this puzzle, in my opinion. Candace Owens has an incredible breakdown explaining this. I highly recommend it.
LOVE ZACK so much!!!! He knows his stuff and I love his take on all this! ❤❤❤❤
Oh wow so in the wake of the Blake and Ryan debacle there’s now a Cancel Culture insurance for celebrities. But still nothing to cover if your house burns to the ground out of nowhere?
Yep!
It's funny these rich people will donate for rich pets in LA but we have refugee camps in NC that everyone forgot about. Shame and disgusting where people's priorities are. Smh
Well said.
It’s all the wild life animals walking around in ashes
Loved this episode!! I'm totally Zack-tivated!!! Love Zack and the two of you together are amazing!!! Def have him on as a regular!!
Hallelujah!! 🎉 Zach is on AND Heather has switched to the right team!!
Thanks good show Heather
Thx
I’m so glad someone else thinks, no knows, that Ryan R is not funny!!!! But he thinks he is 🤦♀️
Blake's outfit in the movie was like a walking homeless gash bag with a messy hair😂 disaster
Love Zac Peter💕
