Thank you very much guys. I have had my 4500 for 10 years and have read the manual over and over, and still find it hard to get a handle on it. I am dyslexic and it hurts my brain just to read it all. I have to pick a function and just hone in on that, one at a time, and not on the same day. But in one video, you have shown me a understandable process. I am a hands on person, and the manuals assume you have a basic understanding of technical terminology.
G’day Robert. I’m the same as you and found this vid helpful too. There is another more in depth vid on RUclips from a guy called, steelPHASE, what do those settings do, typed as written here. It’s a long vid, over an hour, though be patient and the knowledge you gain is priceless. Check him out. Cheers from Mario.
Just viewed your video and found it to be very informative and fairly easy to understand. Top job, thanks for this. Hopefully this will help improve search results. Cheers.
This is great Ben...thankyou both for this. lol, have to add; it's a good thing your stores in Qld and not Vic...all that prospecting goodness and goodies all in one spot...I'd be a kind in a candy store!
Thanks great help I just have to get out and give it ago yet again. I've watch both videos and now know I wasn't doing it wrong but didn't understand what was happening. One question I'm still unsure of is the diffrents between fixed and tracking.
Can we run gpx 4500 on 1*1 meter coil? If that is possible, what would advantages and disadvantages be? Thank you & another thank you for the very informative video

Why enhanced? It uses so much power filtering. Normal is much more power into the ground

Is this a store or just a channel because I’m in MD and want to get a gold detector . I have one from Walmart and it sucks.
Great video! Is an rx gain of 4 too low?
Ash Breed depends on the conditions but I would think that’s a little low in average conditions. Start at factory settings and change from there.
Thanks guys
