    at 9:49 please tell me the exact procedure to fit the mag spring. There is a tiny hole under the follower and same hole under the base plate. Should I insert one end of spring in the tiny hole of the follower and other end of the spring in the hole of base plate?? Please tell me. It is my earnest request to you to please make a short video on how to properly assemble the CF 98 mag. I have earlier model CF 98 (double feed mag). Thank you

    • @gnutzguy
      @gnutzguy  Год назад +1

      it depend on which mag you have. mine does not have any holes if yours has holes and the spring end tips fits comfortably into the holes then thats where they belongs.

    you need a vertical board just off-screen
    to touch w/ your knuckles when lifting items
    to show more closely since your hands have
    a tendency to lift things out of center

    What happens if hammer is disengaged by pulling the trigger when bolt / slide is not on the frame? I recently bought this pistol and removed its barrel to clean it after firing. When the cleaning was done and I was closing the slide / bolt, I accidentally pulled the trigger. Interlocked hammer was disengaged. Hope it's not gonna cause malfunction/danger.

    The bolt carrier group is very like Ak47's. The locking system is quite unique.

    machining marks on contact surfaces
    make for less friction... perfection

    I just got a CF98 recently...
    But on the CFO transfer sheet it show the make is by EMEI and not Norinco ...
    I was wondering if is the same for you

    • @gnutzguy
      @gnutzguy  3 года назад

      yes, manufactured by EMEI. Norinco is only an exporter, they do not manufacture.

    Love your videos, thanks for all you do. Hey, is this gun safe to dry fire? Will it cause any damage to do so?

    • @gnutzguy
      @gnutzguy  2 года назад +1

      thanks.... no worry about dry firing center fire rds bcos the bolt and firing pin are robust but as a habit try to avoid doing too many, use your hand to release the hammer slowly.

    The PLA use 5.8mm version, while the police use 9mm version.

    • @gnutzguy
      @gnutzguy  3 года назад

      Yes, like all the police forces in the world, they dont want a bullet that can penetrate few walls and kill an inoccent resident a few rooms over but yet, they want a bullet that has stopping power so 9mm is that perfect balance.
