Good to see the cheer . One advantage of being part of the farm is you can stage the crops so you have a longer flow .!! Hail set back my flow this year but the crops didnt get reseaded they looked done and are now starting to look better . RAIN last evening !! And theres 2 quarters of red clover within reach!!!
@8:09 Are you suggesting environment dictates gene expression Ian? 😁 So blew a head gasket on my Ford 9N about a month or so ago... took me several weeks to get it all back together and running... put another huge dent in my season.... But we're rollin' and NOT STOPPING! Now I need to find another second tractor for next season... so I have a redundant machine. Good call Ian! Keep that honey flowin' my friend! 🐝🐝🐝🍻
Sweet lots of work ahead and I’m excited to see the harvest! If you ain’t fixing something you ain’t farming right lol. Think that goes with beekeeping also!
Hi, wondering if you could yalk more about the heat and how it affects the nectar. We still have some alfalfa and sweet clover bloom but i wonder if there is much nectar being provided as it is hot and dry.
Huh! 120 kg hives! That is cc. netto 72-75 kg (160-165 lbs) honey! You are a wizard, Ian! It's great! Well, your bees started april 4. The canola are flowed from july 5. That is 92 days development. And 6,2 kg honey (13,6 lbs) per day from july 5. until july 17.
Love it. Temperature in C° but weight in LBS and have to ask the kid what kg to lb conversion is . I don’t have a clue what C° temps mean nor kg weight.
Now you have scales on the cradle it's proof your only taking half full boxes... Let them fill up 'stuffed full' Less work No sence in what your doing.....
“My job is to stand around” 😂
Love the swarm catch Ian! It’s rare that we see you go after one! Wishing you a very successful honey season! 👍👍

The selfie videos you take are so great, do you use something to hold your phone to get such steady shots?
Welcome. And I thought you didn't climb trees :). Happy honey collection.

Nice work ! 💯💪
Nothing like having a second truck. It is almost like the old one was telling you it was getting tired and needed company.
Sounds like a coyote in background
Well, you should have had a Cummins in it😂. How many miles did you get on it before the problem
Sometimes I feel like I need a spare backup for my backup at our dairy farm😮

Not so random question 😎How wide are the horizontal side pieces on the lift when the tabs are down
Not wide enough! I have to modify them because they are not tight enough
Love the coyote background music lol
Lol, she was watching me from the other side of the creek
No! Not the curtains, Lad! The land!
LOL
Why do you use the cone bee escape over the triangle ones? Is the cones one more effective?
It’s all I know
Do you ever have combs melt storing your supers inside of dry vans?

@@aCanadianBeekeepersBlog that’s a blessing. Nice you hire local.
"One day this could all be yours". I expected one of them to reply with "why am I the least favourite"
Lol
