Please for the love of God can you guys come up with a non terrible opening to the show please. I've been pretty nice here for a while come on and do us a solid here guys. Last year, back when Rob wasn’t a thought in our minds and I thought Conley might drop off a little bit. My thought process if that happened this year was I wanted NAW to run point and Mike to be our PG off the bench.
    NAW has been our 2nd best player this year. No debate about it. I’m leaning toward getting NAW more minutes than I am Rob. I see Robs talent and potential, it’s huge. But NAW needs more minutes. A lot more.

    Finch was outcoached last night. He needs to be better with inbounds options. Look what a great coach can do to get easy baskets. I don't get how NBA teams can run a zone and not get called for defensive 3 secs? I thought the Wolves were terrible, but the refs seemed fine with letting Miami stuff the lane without problems.

    Yes Conley been a problem this year. Crazy how bad he's looked yet finch continues to give Dillingham dnps when he's great at the 2 things were currently missing ... shooting & playmaking I really don't understand having a 9 man rotation in November I get it come playoff time but man finch has been so bad this season not only had Conley been bad but also forcing donte & naw to play pg when neither are more then secondary playmaker in donte case and naw should never be running the offense he should be doing nothing but defend and shoot 3s .. if we don't sweep this back 2 back vs Portland I'll start to question what finch is doing he's been bad this year

    • @noahwelch2931
      @noahwelch2931 2 дня назад +5

      I disagree. NAW and Donte have been very reliable bringing the ball up the court. Our shooting and playmaking has been really good. Our issue this year is our defense ironically. I think it would be very dangerous to plop Rob in the rotation at this moment.

    • @Jevonechy
      @Jevonechy День назад

      Well, this is why he's an NBA coach, and we're not. There's a reason he plays the players he plays during games, and there's a reason behind his rotations. He's in practice with these guys almost everyday, if he believed someone could take a starters spot or earn more minutes , he would play them. The defense is our main problem and rebounding. I get Conley is not playing well, but like I said, if Finch thought Rob could start over him or have more minutes, he would put him in. Tim Connelly would probably make the call at that point if he believed a player should be getting more minutes.

    It can’t be just Mike and if it is, Finch needs to get Dillingham in the game to see what he can do.
    Help me understand what Phoenix is doing with a ton of roster changes and a new coach. And what Golden State is doing? I think we have the best coaches, GM, and players in team history but I find the whole “give them 20 games to gel” thing maddening. It’s excuses. Do we want to be an elite team who can win the trophy any and every year, or a team that flares once and then makes the playoffs a lot but loses in the first and second round. We become the 1980s Hawks with Dominique, Kevin Willis, Tree Rollins, and Doc Rivers. And we don’t become Jordan’s Bulls.
    Also, I don’t care how hard Minott has worked. I love him but in the same way I do Luka Garza. Terrence Shannon JR is ANT 2.0 with limitless upside. Those rookies could be game changers. Finch is my favorite coach next to Bud Grant but for the love of Odin, let Dilly and TJ them play!!!!

    As long as the Wolves squeeze into the 4 to 6 seeds in the playoffs is fine... they have to start playing others. Minott and TJ should be playing more, and squeeze in Garza if Naz, Rudy, or Randle are not feeling great; it'll payoff for later in the season. Not sure if Rob can play yet, since it would be nearly 4 on 5 on defense... his time will come if he can bulk up a little and utilize his quickness to be a somewhat pest on defense.
    Have to take those +/- with a grain of salt... sure, yes the starters are a -3, but they are literally playing the BEST of the other teams with a lot of those minutes. Since the bench is so deep is where NAW, Naz, and DDV absolutely shine.

There's no shame in sitting a couple weeks healing and being a bench coach for Dillingham while he plays. Then when you are right come back and you can actually do what you are supposed to do. Even if he was out 2-3 months as bad as he's been he can help more from the bench while he heals rather than hampering and limiting the team. You cant count on him to make an open shot because of his health and you can't have that. We have Donte Nickiel and Robb plus you know Ant will handle the ball.
