What's going on guys? This is the Russian Roulette drinking game, the liquor rules. What you're going to need is six shot glasses, cards one through six or pieces of paper labeled one through six, that's good enough. A dice and some water and some 151. You're going to fill up one shot glass with 151 all the way to the top. Make it nice and brimy it makes it a little bit more exciting. Then you're going to fill up the rest of the shot glasses with water.
Now, there's an alternative to this. You can fill all the rest of the shot glasses up with liquor and do a double shot for the 151, that'll amp the stakes up. Or a little lighter than is you can fill the rest of the glasses up with beer. I prefer water because it's a little bit more of a surprise when you get the 151 vs beer or liquor.
Now if you're really having fun, you can kind of switch it all up so nobody knows where the 151 is alright. And then you're going to lay out all the cards. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. You're going to put all the shot glasses, one on each card. You're going to roll the dice, sit a round in a circle and roll the dice.
One person starts. They roll, whatever number they get they roll a 2 they shoot it. It's water. That's number. Next person goes, shoots it. Next person goes, shoots it. If they roll the same number that's already been rolled, so if they roll a 2, you just roll again until you get a number that hasn't been rolled. When a person finally gets the 151, just kidding. They shoot it, and they've lost the game. They're therefore eliminated and the rest of the players keep playing until no one's left. Alright?
That's how you play Russian Roulette with liquor.
That's pretty boring... I prefer to make it a bit more interesting by filling 5 shot glasses with vodka and one glass with hydrochloric acid!

What is the point of drinking water during a drinking game? Just fill all the glasses with 80 proof and one glass with 160 proof. That is how you make a good game.

But then there isn't any tension or stake. Either way your drinking something. But now you are just waiting on the dice.

@OJSeph Still kind of pointless, since then everyone would have to drink one shot of alcohol until no one is left. Kinda beats the purpose

Why not fill 5 with regular vodka and one with everclear
You can make a quite fun version out of it by combining it with strip poker. Whoever loses and gets the shot has to strip down one piece of clothing, or you do it the other way around and fill 5 glasses with vodka and who gets the water has to strip.
It really fun and definitely worth a try if you are around people you're comfortable with

To make it more fun, leave one shot full of vodka and then mix water an vodka for the rest, like 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and then just one with only water
Not a bad game to start a night. I mean, yes, most of us are alcoholics and would be pissed to get the water. So, hit a few rounds, first to get 3 shots wins, instead of excluding the one to get the alcohol.
Personally, Kings is my favorite drinking game, especially if you get an early King.
I suggest inverting the whole thing and setting the rules as the person who gets the water is out. 5 shots of vodka and 1 shot of water.

or fill all six glasses with some sort of liqour, preferrably 70%(+) absinthe. then roll the dice one time each (2 players) the one with the lowest number starts and drinks the number they diced. but after you drink a shot you leave the card so if shot 4 is already drunk and ypu get 4 when u thriw the dice you dont drink

I would do it with coke and whisky. Fill 5 glasses with plain coke, and fill the the 6th one with whisky, and then top a little up with coke to make sure the color is covered
Its a bar game as well. Check if the bartender is down for it. Best way to play is with three or more people. Have the group turn their backs to the bar. The bar tender chooses if all three or more shots get tequilla, if one does or two do or none do. The bar tender says turn around, then you drink. Its a fun game. And also is a good way to pick the DD for the night.

Sounds like everyone is gonna get a shot. But it's a decent way to help prevent dehydration/hangover.
Id make it more interesting by putting 1 glass with water and the rest with vodka. And i would put 15 cards each going from Ace to 5 so that you can choose which card you want. Once you get the water your safe from doing the punishment or something.
It sure can be fun :) But when you're drunk it doesn't matter what you do, everything is fun :D

If you use Sake instead of water it's tougher to know from the smell, and it isn't a drinking game unless everyone plays every round =)
Otherwise, just get one shot glass, fill with vodka and roll the dice, if you get a 3 then you have to drink it. (this is called rolling the barrel)
Another alternative is filling one cup with liquid LSD that way the person can die but come back to life within 12-15 hours as a way of paying homage to the traditional Russian roulette . The rest can be filled with liquor since liquid acid (LSD) in such quantities will brutally alter their mind compared to the 151.
But it's supposed to be fun too.
My take would be 5 glasses of Vodka and 1 with water. The one who gets the water then has to down a number of "gulps" from the bottle of vodka (the number is predetermined, lets say 5).
The repeat until someone "performs the dragon" (vomits).
And then you get drunk for no reason at all, while sitting at home alone, with no friends #lonely4ever
to make this more fun fill all the cups with vodka and the winner was the one who passed out last or throws up last Its more like Russian roulette and gets everyone smashed.

okay so from the comments - it’ll be better to have more liquor shots than just one correct? but my question is do i keep adding shots until someone get the “losing” shot?
The water would certainly keep you on your toes, big difference between the nothingness of water and the strength of 75.5% liquor. However with this game, there won't be much drinking going on, except for water, unless everyone gets REALLY lucky. So, I think it'd be better with the others being vodka, and one being the 151 (Nearly twice as strong). Only for experienced drinkers however. I've had 8 shots in 35 minutes before, so being guaranteed a shot of liquor every turn won't be hard if you've seen the bottom of your fair share of bottles.
Or, if you're using some 2oz shotglasses, make them half water and half vodka, with one being all vodka. Or keep with the 151. Trying to think of a way to get dark rum in there, my favourite liquor, but what could you use as substitute? I don't know of any non-alcoholic flat dark drinks. Other than flat pop I guess. Another option is to put the card (Or numbered paper) OVER the glass, to make sure you can't see the carbonation of pop vs flat rum. Once you get the number, in one swift move, card off and drink before you can even see the glass. Just an idea.
Good vid! I'll try to remember to bring this up the next time my friends and I have a get together. With the 4-6 of us, or more if they bring friends of friends, we'll have to have liquor in each glass. I mean, who wants to have a shot of non-alcoholic liquid for most of your rolls when you have to wait for 3-5 other people? Gonna take a while to get drunk, that's for sure... OH! How's this for an idea? Jager being the empty chambers, and REALLY dark rum being the shot? I know Captain Morgan Black Spiced is quite dark, and is even 47.3% so it's got more bite than your average 40% stuff!
... though personally I can't stand straight Jagermeister, so I'd be praying for the strong Captain Morgan's Black Spiced every time... friggin black liquorish taste of Jager... to each their own, but it's friggin NASTY to me! Jagerbombs is the only fit way to drink either Jagermeister or Red Bull. On their own, to me anyways, they both taste disgusting. I'll take straight rum/vodka/whiskey any day of the week... Good coffee lol

I don't always play Russian roulette, but when I do I prefer using a Walther P38.
I have done this with 170 proof alcohol and the guy who has taken the shot leaned on the sofa for the whole party
I can totally tell which one the vodka shot is, it has a slight yellow color. Then again, I wouldn't play this in a white room with all the lights on...
we do it other wise we fill as much glasses as we want with liquir and put a empty beer bottle in the middle and put the glasses in a cirkel and give the botle a spin werever it lands you take that shot let me know if you like it :P

Get six different types of alcohol. Works best if you have black shot glasses though.
You don't really need the cards do you? Or if you don't have a dice you can just hold the cards face down and pick them and drink the corresponding shot!

This seems to me like this is a very complicated way for 6 people to take a shot each of 151 with varying degrees of hydration.
do it backwards, take 1 shot white water, and the 5 remaining whit vodka or something, the person ho got the water its out and the rest are playing.

Step 2: Fill all with water
Step 3: Pick 1 to put rufies in.
Step 5: That is up to you!

6 glasses and line them up, left to right 1-6
fill one with vodka, the rest with water (get someone who's not playing to do this).. then just roll. When you get the number of the glass, take it and drink it.

You can do this, but a variant of it with peppers and chocolate. You make x times 6 chocolates, and fill one chocolate per every six with a hot pepper. The same rules apply.

where i come from we take a bottle of vodka and sit in a circle. we all take shots in a clockwise order. the one who would get the next drink after the bottle is empty will be the designated driver.

I have a game for you...you must combine just 3 drinks beer wine and some spirit and not only not pass put but be able do be coherent in some matter or form after a large quantity has been ingested..then you are a god and win a hangover from hell and/or death...
