Hear me out and refute my comment with FACTS; not with feelings. I start by saying that I haven't been able to pick either one on this fight. This fight has an element that makes it very difficult to pick a sure winner. What is that element? In my opinion I don't think that either fighter will be able to take the other's best shot. This means that the fight can be decided by whomever of the two gets caught first; not by experience, boxing ability, or anything else. Now, that was merely MY OPINION. Now let's go with facts about an element that is getting a bit too much attention.
I keep hearing comments about the fact that Benavidez experience gives him an edge. Heck, one of the coaches here eluded to the fact that Morrell has not gotten up the canvas and Benavidez has gives him an edge. Seriously? The fact that one has not been dropped is a bad thing? Wow! The same coach also eluded to the fact that Benavidez has been to scraps that he had to swim out of; while Morrell has not had to come back from a rough moment. That is a good observation; but not exactly an advantage. Let me go into the "so called lack of experience" claims. I will mainly bring up some boxing greats that faced the same scrutiny and some that didn't face the same scrutiny that Morrell is receiving because of his "lack of experience". The fact here is that some are overlooking Morrell's amateur pedigree and accomplishments in the same manner they overlooked other greats.
Let us start with Lomachenko - the same Lomachenko that won his first title with a mere record of 1-1 and went to to be labeled a "generational talent". Let us now talk about Usyk. How many fights before he won his first belt? The answer is 5 for the Interim WBO and 10 for the WBO and since then we know who Usyk is today. Perhaps the best big guy of this generation by beating the much bigger guys with his vast amateur portfolio. Let us move now to Dimitry Bivol - who won the Interim WBA belt with only 7 fights and became the WBA champion with only 10 fights. Please tell me that Bivol's lack of fights equal to lack of experience. Arthur Beterbiev won his first belt with only 7 fights and I bet anything that unless you Google who he fought against to win the fight you would not have a clue.
I can go on listing recent greats that had the same thing in common; not a lot of professional fights - but a vast amateur portfolio. Do not be fooled by the fact that Morrell doesn't have many fights or that he has not been challenged as much as Benavidez. Who has Morrell fought? Everyone the put in front of him. He is just a fighter; not a promoter. He suffers from the same problem that Benavidez suffered. What is that? He was in the wrong division, the 168 division, that was sequestered by Canelo and became a dead end street. The other greats I mentioned had an open division to thrive; Morrell and Benavidez were both force to take whatever scrappy fight was there. Nobody wanted to fight Morrell and that is not his fault; but the few that have didn't end up well. Morrell won his first title fight on this third fight against a 22-0 fighter with 13 KOs. He also fought against Alante Fox; the same Alante Fox that went the distance against Andrade and was 28-2 before getting knocked out by Morrell. Then let us not forget Aidos Yerbossynuly; who faced Morrell with a 16-0 and Morrell only had 7 fights. He nearly killed Aidos and thankfully Aidos survived the injuries sustained. After that Falcao, an Olympic Bronze Medalist with a 24-1 record, that only lasted 2 minutes against him. Finally, Sena Agbeko, a hard hitting 28-2 with 23 KOs that only lasted three rounds. Do not fault Morrell for making them guys look less than average - he is only fighting whomever they put in front of him.
Who will win? I have no idea; but I will not use experience as the reason for either one to win.

Did you compare Floyd Mayweather to David morrell???? Floyd is a defensive genius with accurate hand and great counter...please stop, I believe morrell is good but he isn't great. With that being said I got benavidez winning.
From where I'm sitting, muscle tone and their development gives me insight to a boxer/fighter's mindset as it relates to conditioning and their dedication to the sport. The Benavidez brothers have the same approach and therefore they exhibit the same faults. A Southpaw with a three or four inch reach advantage can cause problems for anyone who is too sure of themselves or in poor conditioning. But I also feel like morrell has to be perfect to win this fight. Everything has to be working for him, he’s going to have to be slick on his back foot while also being aggressive at the right times. Where as Benavidezs Will might be able to get him through if he has an off night.

It depends on what you consider experience because technically morrell has had far more fights they were just amateur but at the end of the day any type of fight is experience even street fights are experience

I think Benavidez is in trouble. Morrell is the same height and size as Benavidez for the most part. Morrell's head is bigger. I go back to Benavidez VS Dirrell. Dirrell was giving Benavidez all sorts of problems before he got cut. Morrell is a power puncher/boxer. I think Morrell is going to shock Benavidez.
