the king and his family members who participate in the administration of the country are also entitled for a salary just like the ministers. The king take the risk of his life to fight wars. Isn't he entitled a salary for it. common man can earn money or do farming or trade only if there is peace. Imagine what happen when a king from outside invade the country? you common man will be plundered or caught as slaves. it is the king and his soldiers who protect the country and ensure peace and prosperity. prince and sometimes princess are taught to fight wars from their early childhood. can a common man come to confornt an invading outside invader like chenguish Khan or tipu sultan? it is the king who risk his own life. when a foreign army defeat the king and kill him, his family memebrs (sons and daughters ) are killed to eliminate the complete family, his wife is made sexual slave. but it does not affect the common man to a large extent. you think about only the pleasure and comfort that the king and his family enjoys. corporate top management enjoys many benefits and luxuries. But how can the workers tell that it is their money. workers are paid wages/ salary for their labour. the top management enjoys luxury but contribute to the success of the company. however, the workers could not understand this and thinks that the company achieve success only because of the labour of the workers. your attitude about the luxury enjoyed by the royals is also the same.
