Every method to get there can be countered pretty easily. The flying machine gambit is slow and can be stopped just by breaking the slime. The flying Ghast is a huge target and needs a long time to grow.

They can't. Dream said it himself he's not gonna have actual good players in his manhunt. The reason is because It would basically be impossible to win a single time with good hunters. So he gets mid-average players. If they got better he would probably kick them out.

In all honesty, the hunters avoided just as many fights. Sapnap refused to fight Dream despite being in full netherite. There were multiple instances when Dream was trying to fight one or two of them and they would run.
the hunters playing way too conservative made them lose. like u said sapnap was in FULL neitherite, GOD APPLES, and a TOTEM, but he refused to fight dream bc he was too scared of a trap. nothing short of a miracle could make dream win that 1v1. plus netherite doesn’t burn so he can’t even torch the armor only way to get rid of it is burying it really deep or void.

The hunters just went to the surface and followed him above the surface, so all it ended up being was extremely risky and time-consuming, and he didn't even actually get a head start.
Yea this is the definition of a strategy that can really only work once and never again because now they know what it is and will spend time researching it, and well finding that its slow means that they'd be able to kill it next time.

Puffy did fine, the hunters were just way less organized this time they didn't have people split up with their own tasks like they normally do. Usually bbh and George get food and mine while sapnap ant and Sam stay on dream but that didn't happen this time. No one was scouting and watching him.

also just not giving him time to farm rockets. the way you counter expensive late game plays like that where he needs a lot of rockets and has to raise an entity to sit and chase the dragon is by not giving him the leeway to farm rockets or sit and water the ghast
@Firefly256 They broke it. I believe Sapnap was close-ish and was able to speed-bridge/tower faster than Dream could move laterally, so he caught up and broke the machine

I really don't think either Happy Ghast was that OP, it took like 20 minutes for each of them to grow. He had to collect the ghast, collect the stuff for the two ghast saddles, then also get away without getting shot. There's so many opportunities for it to be interrupted and now they know it's a possibility it's almost impossible it'll ever work again. So I don't think we need a ban.
I think 6 hunters might be too many. At this point, the Hunters are skilled enough to get stacked, and make a straight fight with Dream a death sentence. Therefore, Dream's forced to avoid them at all cost. They were annoyed by not being able to fight Dream, or get to him, but he had to run at every opportunity, and still barely won.
I mean, it just feels like they were as scared of dream as he was of them. One of their main advantages is that they can respawn, and they barely used it.
Are you like new to the series? Anytime they find a non counterable strat they ban those. Otherwise you’d see end crystals regenerating thr dragon every manhunt

They complained that he was too op in the end when they were the ones with op netherite armor + notch apples + totems + stasis chambers that he couldn't possibly win in a fight against.
@LolAnket The counter was to have 2 guys on the pillar protecting the LAST crystal. They literally just let dream have that one for free. They could also just hold a spear out. They should have killed the Happy Ghast, that's on them for not getting enough arrows, blocks, pearls, braincells.

holyy this is like one of, if not, the most intense ending ive ever seen in a manhunt. you wouldnt even know if he'll actually be able to kill the dragon or not during those final seconds unless you already got spoiled
The hunters avoided fighting him as much as Dream did, all that loot and they're afraid to go after him. This is what is called "Gear Fear", happens in survival games when you're afraid to lose said OP gear when that OP gear is meant to help you, so you end up not using it, making it useless.

She's new to the manhunt, she has the time to get used to it. Antfrost was like this when he first joined the roster as well. It took maybe half a decade to actually note that he's got better at pvp lmao
@Sarahvastar What are you talking about? Antfrost was literally the first one to secure the first Hunter victory on the classic (multi hunter) series in 2020. Maybe it would seem as if he did nothing the first time he joined, but that's more because he was on resource duty (which was still huge for the hunters) than anything else.

I think the hunters are forgetting that dream had a God apple from George. That probably is what got him the win in the end otherwise he was constantly about to die while flying.
In the previous videos we could clearly see how much the hunters improved, but unfortunately, in this Manhunt, everyone seemed more concerned with what they have in their inventory than with killing Dream. If only Sapnap had been more aggressive and hadn't worried about his armor or a potential trap, his chances of killing Dream would have been higher. I understand they don't want to lose their things, but there are more of them, and they can help each other when that happens. They can also use the 6 hunters to put much more pressure on Dream and prevent him from getting too far. I hope they can keep this in mind next time and organize themselves better. They did well anyway. ❤️
1:56 Something the hunters could’ve done is waited for Dream to swoop down to try to spear them and last second placed a two block tall pillar that he would fly into. They’d just have to time it perfectly.
If Dream knew how to Zero-Cycle he could like just style on them in the end if they took a bit to get to him. I guess it wouldn't be the eventful fight you want tho
just for everyone's info: you can get a dried ghast (which turn into happy ghast) from piglin bartering, but the chance is somewhat low. you have a 2.13% chance of getting it. it's expected every 46.9 gold ingots, and considering he went to two bastions and had over a stack of gold ingots, dream got unlucky not getting one
sapnap having this much loot was what took him out of the game he was so scared to do anything. he is usually the most agressive which is why no fights happened
Correction. You still can get a dried ghast from pigeons from trading. I fact checked this on bedrock edition and got several from trading. It's just a rare drop
Nah once there reaches so many hunters I think certain restrictions should be removed. I get not trapping the nether portal or breaking the spawners, but other than that there’s really no reason the hunters should be losing, even the nether roof trick should be considered since the hunters can easily get the rss back

Puffy did fine, the hunters were just way less organized this time they didn't have people split up with their own tasks like they normally do. Usually bbh and George get food and mine while sapnap ant and Sam stay on dream but that didn't happen this time. No one was scouting and watching him.

also just not giving him time to farm rockets. the way you counter expensive late game plays like that where he needs a lot of rockets and has to raise an entity to sit and chase the dragon is by not giving him the leeway to farm rockets or sit and water the ghast
@Firefly256 They broke it. I believe Sapnap was close-ish and was able to speed-bridge/tower faster than Dream could move laterally, so he caught up and broke the machine

I really don't think either Happy Ghast was that OP, it took like 20 minutes for each of them to grow. He had to collect the ghast, collect the stuff for the two ghast saddles, then also get away without getting shot. There's so many opportunities for it to be interrupted and now they know it's a possibility it's almost impossible it'll ever work again. So I don't think we need a ban.

I think 6 hunters might be too many. At this point, the Hunters are skilled enough to get stacked, and make a straight fight with Dream a death sentence. Therefore, Dream's forced to avoid them at all cost. They were annoyed by not being able to fight Dream, or get to him, but he had to run at every opportunity, and still barely won.
Sapnap and antfrost are deadly together. Once they are stacked, dream finds it difficult. And now they got 4 people to support them

They gave him infinite time in the nether to get everything he needed for the ghast plays while all six of them gathered resources. They refused to fight him while he was growing the first ghast despite having op armor from said resource gathering. They complained that he was too op in the end when they were the ones with op netherite armor + notch apples + totems + stasis chambers that he couldn't possibly win in a fight against.

They could also just hold a spear out.
They should have killed the Happy Ghast, that's on them for not getting enough arrows, blocks, pearls, braincells.

What do you think takes longer? Lining up a clean trajectory to spear someone or just simply pointing a spear in the direction of the compass as soon as you hear a firework go off? It’s really counterable, actually. Even if you don’t have the reaction time (because listening for the firework sound effect gives a TON more leeway), if you have 2 braincells and a spear it’s not an unbeatable strat

Thing is dream literally didn't need to go for the hunters at all. He just kept flying, hitting dragon with spear and arrows. You can't do anything about that

The hunters avoided fighting him as much as Dream did, all that loot and they're afraid to go after him.
This is what is called "Gear Fear", happens in survival games when you're afraid to lose said OP gear when that OP gear is meant to help you, so you end up not using it, making it useless.
The hunters need to understand, dream cant afford to fight anymore, the winning strategy against 6 hunters is completely different now and dream has already adapted. The hunters need to adapt

I’d say even though dream was hiding majority of the time, the few times he DID encounter the hunters he always got to really low health, this manhunt seemed fair and worth the wait !!

@Sarahvastar What are you talking about? Antfrost was literally the first one to secure the first Hunter victory on the classic (multi hunter) series in 2020. Maybe it would seem as if he did nothing the first time he joined, but that's more because he was on resource duty (which was still huge for the hunters) than anything else.
@deidarasete mind you there was nothing done by literally anyone in this one. Like he said, it was a lot of just running and prepping with no fights at all. If there were fights there would be more noticable things, but 6, let alone 4 or 5, hunters is incredibly difficult to face AT ALL TIMES, yk? In the previous videos we could clearly see how much the hunters improved, but unfortunately, in this Manhunt, everyone seemed more concerned with what they have in their inventory than with killing Dream. If only Sapnap had been more aggressive and hadn't worried about his armor or a potential trap, his chances of killing Dream would have been higher.
I understand they don't want to lose their things, but there are more of them, and they can help each other when that happens. They can also use the 6 hunters to put much more pressure on Dream and prevent him from getting too far.
I hope they can keep this in mind next time and organize themselves better. They did well anyway. ❤️

just for everyone's info: you can get a dried ghast (which turn into happy ghast) from piglin bartering, but the chance is somewhat low. you have a 2.13% chance of getting it. it's expected every 46.9 gold ingots, and considering he went to two bastions and had over a stack of gold ingots, dream got unlucky not getting one
sapnap having this much loot was what took him out of the game he was so scared to do anything. he is usually the most agressive which is why no fights happened
Correction. You still can get a dried ghast from pigeons from trading. I fact checked this on bedrock edition and got several from trading. It's just a rare drop

Nah once there reaches so many hunters I think certain restrictions should be removed. I get not trapping the nether portal or breaking the spawners, but other than that there’s really no reason the hunters should be losing, even the nether roof trick should be considered since the hunters can easily get the rss back
