Learned an excellent strategy a few days ago since I just started back playing MW. Once you get enough money, get a juggernaut suit and find a great camp spot and just mow down all the enemies in a single choke point. usually a staircase inside a building with no other way in. Me and a rando got to wave 125 and then we just quit because we had gone far enough(too repetitive at that point.lol)
*As of May 12, 2021:* There are two bugs happening right now: One is where you try to access the score/leader board or map during the game, but instead you get some small message on the upper right of your screen. - The bug goes away or you can access the score board/map when everyone quit and you're the only player in the game. The other bug is when you die with the group, and you get a black screen with some repeating sound in background. - The bug isn't there when you are the only player in the game.
There's a bug at the Weapons Store where you can't buy any weapons or attachments. If it isn't fixed yet, best chance is it will be fixed once Season 6 (COD:CW) releases which will be in about a week. Update: Season 6 just released and it's fixed.
One tip I would have mentioned is if you want to cut down half your reload time for lmgs you can empty one then empty the other and throw down the ammo crate which will reload both your guns instantly giving you 400 shots total in a quarter of the time. Appreciate the suggestion. So far, I haven't witness a single player with melee survive beyond wave 7. In many instances, I'll see knives or sticks on the ground. I dropped Riot Shield from the recommended list because it doesn't protect you from Juggernaut melee attacks. In situations where you're backed in a corner by yourself, enemies are constantly firing at you, if you return fire, you leave yourself vulnerable especially if you need to reload. Highly recommended the shield when playing friends, but when playing with strangers, they get all the money and XP while you get little to nothing...
If you're experiencing a crash after an 1h in the game, it's not you or your connection, it's on their end. This problem started happening ever since the release of Season 6. Pretty sure they're working on fixing it. Will this crash cause you to lose your XP points or not count? No. After the crash, if you exit all the way out to the main menu and load back in, go to the Battle Pass tab and you will see XP points added on from your previous play.
There's an entire channel dedicated to survival? Now we're talking. After unlocking obsidian for my fav weapons I failed to find a reason for me to continue getting my a*s whooped by sbmm before new weapons come out (CX9 & RAAL MG). So I started to enjoy this time-consuming mode when I have time to kill. It's not so great and exciting as its MW3 counterpart. However, messing around with random teammates once in a while proves to be fun enough. Melee weapons are good for early waves since they cost only 100 and 1-hit anyone besides a juggernaut. The trick here is to purchase armor crate after wave 4 when their weak-a*s uzi's are replaced by PKM's. Don't over-extend yourself if armor gets broken tho. I usually buy Dual Kodachi's right after wave 1 and stick to it until I have enough money for a 200-rnd extended mag attachment on my PKM. I do pick up RPG's or shotguns to take down juggernauts tho. If there are 3-4 players in the lobby I usually get a 200-rnd Bruen after a few waves alongside my 200-rnd PKM. It's hella fun especially after shooting down an attack chopper when I can immediately switch to the other LMG and continue to mow down incoming enemies. And if teammates are decent enough at holding angles, There should be sufficient time for me to reload between waves even at high waves where the break time will be reduced to mere seconds. When there's only one rando or no teammate at all it's not so great of a method tho. I believe the most efficient loadout is a high-capacity while also fast-reloading primary such as an 100-rnd kilo, a Holger or an 84-rnd bizon plus an auto-shotty secondary, namely the Origin12 and AA12. On top of that, Thermites, whether from a thermite noobtube or a lethal equipment, could be a devastating tool for holding choke points with the help of grenade crates. Make sure to get enough armor, ammo and jugg suits (or sentry turrets if trying to play strictly without jugg suits) and that should be enough for you to survive until you get bored. On a side note, underbarrel shotgun attachment for AR's has a terrific effect on juggernauts. While normal shotguns have little to no headshot multipliers, I believe this particular attachment does. Combined with FMJ, it 2-shots a juggernaut to the head. Obviously the downside is it only holds 8 rounds. It can be refilled by both ammo crates and grenade crates tho. Gosh I hope they can add those ATV's back in Aniyah Palace in Survival
There used to be ATVs in Aniyah Palace for Survival? I remember how buggy that map was with so many crashes when players are far apart from each other. They used to allow players to camp on the roof of the gas station. And there used to be multiple helos (3) attacking at once - that was crazy. I wouldn't mind they bring that back though, lol.
@@SurvivalModeDT idk I just assumed they removed ATV's later in the game's life cycle for whatever reason similar to what they did with Infected. We PC players don't get Survival until a whole year after its launch. Still, without ATV's we have to cover a lot of distance on foot everytime we need to buy. Granted, it's not a problem except in early waves where we should be preparing ourselves. But that often gets irritating enough to make players quit early and begin to queue for another game on a different map. After all, there are far better maps out there whether for farming weapon xp or just for fun
You could use the deployable cover to run around to get to another supply cache, and also place it in doorways to single-entrance camping spots (e.g. Crash Tower) to cause suicide bombers to just stand there before dying. It will survive several explosions
I did the waiting for enemies thing in Modern Warfare 3 dome map,I used to camp at the ladder at the top rail of the dome.It was a good place cause the weapons box was under us,and the turrets box was near the start which was close.
@@brandong6632 They could, but when they came I ran under the dome, you should have an lmg or ar with a big mag(or launcher, but lmg is easier to defend from troops), you can even have an ar with a grenade launcher which I either forgot to do or never unlocked it,

If you are playing offline and you can buy any modifications without levellock I recommend as shotgun the origin 12 with Choke, longest barrel, laser, no stock and 25 drum mag, this weapon is absolute a beast in survival, I know it’s longer used in WarZone clutches, but it can 100% used in survival too, even beginners with this weapon can destroy entire waves. As second weapon I personally use a PKM with shortest barrel, laser, no stock, 200 round belt and a foregrip to your choice. If you crewmate equip a antiair missie weapon or AR with the swat shield(idk now that’s called in game, I forgetted:) you can easily make it to round 60+ if you are a beginner.
Melee weapons such as the combat knife are great early on. Plus they are only 100. So if you only get one kill on the first round you have a great weapon that's a one hit kill. SMGs are useful because they have the fastest movement speed besides melee weapons. They're great when you need to get to the buy stations quickly or make fast escapes. When running an LMG you can use ammo boxes for quick reloads. Plus you can stand over the box and keep reloading. Obviously you can do the same with armor and grenade boxes. Snapshot grenades are my go to because it lights up a lot of the enemies and you can see them through walls. Molotov/ Thermite. When you toss a thermite the enemies will continue walking into and just keep dying until it extinguishes. They won't do that with molotovs. But you can use this to stop the enemies from advancing long enough to revive a teammate. If you get a good squad that communicates well I suggest 1 person running the Riot shield. You can block a doorway from the suicide bombers. They'll explode when they get near you but you and your squad will be protected from the explosion. Just wanted to share
7:11. I was there with 2 other friends and a random. The random was very good. Knew what they were doing unlike the normal randoms you get who can’t shoot to save their life. But we camped there all of us in jugs camping the stairs with backup jugs ready The worst thing is the suiciders. Other than that you can shoot through the wall and get enemies that come through the door and if you have others they can shoot other areas and stop enemies from reaching the stairs
I know it’s probably super late but a strategy I use when there’s four players is for one player to have a riot shield and block the suicide bombers. I recently got back into survival cause I primarily play warzone and warzone 2 isn’t to my taste.
The bow is great with the thermite bolts and slight of hand, but it’s true potential is only unlocked once you spend money on thermite grenades and the perk you can buy for 5000 at the grenade chest. Then you will never get over run as long as you are sitting on a grenade reload chest.
The best lethal is by far the thermite, enemies try to avoid the molotov, but will run right into a thermite grenade giving you tons of kills in a choke point, IF YOU CAN USE INCENDIARY UNDERBARREL LAUNCHER, its basically 2 extra thermites, and they fully refill with a grenade box giving you a total of up to 20 grenades with a single box, NOTE they are shared across multiple weapons so having 2 assault rifles with the same launcher will only give you 1 extra grenade so be careful, use 2 separate launcher types if you want, also THERMITE IS THE BEST WAY TO KILL SUICIDE BOMBERS, they will run straight into thermites killing themselves in the process leaving you and your team safe!
Thanks for sharing! I knew about the incendiary underbarrel during the production of this video, but didn't include it because it would delay the video further. It's quite a fun attachment. What I didn't know is the effect it has on the suicide bombers. Will definitely look into this!
@@SurvivalModeDT thanks for replying, also don't forget about the underbarrel shotgun, it can kill a juggernaut point blank in around 4 shots, but only can carry 8 shots and only be refilled with an ammo box, so it's mainly useful as an emergency juggernaut (anything) killer
Melee is actually powerfull in the first few waves when playing in squads it helps you run to heal your team faster and it one shots the enemies in the mid game the FAL is over powered if you have a fast trigger finger you can kill a jugernaut with less than a mag and for later game the Rytec sniper is amazing it can blow up helis with the right atachments thats my strategy when playing with a squad and the location of your area is important it depends on how many players you have plus how many resorces you have at your disposal
I'm a bit late but The AA12 shotgun with 32 drum mag Either PKM 200 round belt Slight of hand and any range/recoil control (aim at the cockpit of the big helicopters and shoot at the pilots, it'll save you a lot of rounds) or the holger26 (100 rounds default, slightl of hand and any attachments to increase movement and aim down sight speed (You'll need to move fast in later stages wave 50+ as the 30 seconds timer starts decreasing, there will be a point where the timer between rounds reaches less than a second) Eventually you'll get to a point where you can't use your guns round 140+ you'll need to fill your kill streak slots with jugg At this point the cool down between rounds is 1.05 seconds and enemies spawn in immediately I was on round 156 when I quit it was late I was tired, but you'll have to fight 12+ juggs on those waves and the helicopter as well, infantry are dangerous if you don't keep them back or kill them quickly If your jugg armour is on the first stage of damage (indicate by the visor craks, first one is top left) replace it immediately once the round has finished I was on the palace map (the biggest survival map, it's also a ground war map) I was camped inside the house up the stairs near the door to the kill streak box and dispite how little time I had to prepare I'd still managed to get to the box I'd leave one guy alive leave my jugg (if I haven't already taken care of the attack helicopter) and wait right next to the box At the beginning there was 4 of us but at wave 148 I was on my own If you are committed team of 4 players, right around 120 get jugg kill streaks (equip one and have to spare) and then buy one more to replace the one you've equiped, next be camping in the best stops like corners for example (The best map for start to wave 90 is the one with the gun and kill streak box next to each other and campaign in the restaurant across from the hazmat building) but anything beyond wave 90+ you'd want to be as close as you can to the kill streaks
ak with underbarrel incendiary and bizon with ammo upgrades are the best combo for survival with double thermite and stim. Sentry and cluster for jugg waves.Using jugg suits are insult to survival
If this is your first time playing Modern Warfare, you have to level up the weapon through gaining XPs or kills in this mode or multiplayer. The other reason is you need to make money from the kills in this mode. There is a video for only beginners and how to rank up weapons quick in this channel. Hope this helps.
Can someone help and explain how to buy battle pass? I tried in the game, but stuck at loading, why is this?? how to by pass it? do I have to have a good card on playstation store? can I do another way like online? cause i tried that it was not easy thing to do.
Do you have tips that covers strategy for more advanced players? Btw what do you think about the lack of ready ups, meaning one has to wait 30 secs so many times? Could't this be easily fixed and significantly improve the progression of the survival game mode? Have you also thought about going ak-47 with the incineary underbarrel so u can basically get 4 lethals per grenade refill?

For the ready ups, if you're referring to the break time in-between waves, I don't think there's away to speed that up since we have no control over it other than trying to reach wave 56 when it drops to 20 seconds, then 12 seconds by about wave 80 which is quite difficult with helo floating above at every wave. For the incendiary underbarrel, 4 lethals as in when you carry both Assault weapons with Incendiary attachments? If yes, I have experimented with it. I find myself forgetting that I have an underbarrel attachment sometimes especially when the game gets crazy in the later waves.
Hi, I've started playing survival mode recently and whenever I try to use the weapon crate it doesn't allow me to go into it, is there like a level requirement or something? I just got mw recently and I've mostly been playing cold war before then,I'm level 193 on cold war so I don't know if there some different leveling system for mw or if it's like a constant bug or glitch
It's a bug ever since they released an update (3 weeks ago) to correct some of the weapons for Multiplayer. It'll be fixed once everything is settled which may take a bit. I think it'll be in two weeks once Season 6 releases.
If by score meaning rank, it's a bug that they are struggling to fix since the release of Vanguard. We may have to wait for the next update for Season 3 of Vanguard which should be less than a month from now.
Every time my friends and I (xbox and pc) reach wave 39-45 or so, the game crashes no matter what. Maybe it's a problem with our connection(s) but I have found a few results on reddit of other people with the same problem. Does anyone else have this problem or know what's going on with that? If it's a known bug that would be fixed or if it's an individual problem. I hope it gets fixed because this mode is pretty fun.
Aye man I love this game and it makes me mad that this is the second time activision has had the opportunity to make it even better and is completely blowing it off for the second time. I believe COD MW needs a massive survival mode update. You know the one we’ve been waiting since MW3 for. #UpdateCODSurvival
It would be nice if they add a few more maps and enemy armored vehicles/tanks to the mix. I think they're busy focusing on the next MW which will probably release in 2022.
Answer: 1. Name of the map is Crash - first complex on the right when you spawn. 2. Not that I'm aware of, haven't witness a single player who can revive someone quicker. 3. It's actually more fun and challenging playing solo, imho. You gain money quick which translates to getting your weapon load outs and killstreaks sooner. Used to enjoy playing solo on private but they removed the XP. :(
A next level player told me early on while learning to master Survival "The best way to REALLY learn SURVIVAL is to "Master Solo Mode" Once you can hold down a map indefinitely in solo YOU OWN THAT MAP! I suggest Having A melee if you feel safe with it and Riot Shields never break and reduce damage from bombers.

I reccomend the crossbow firebolt. Good up till round 30's.

Thanks for sharing! I knew about the incendiary underbarrel during the production of this video, but didn't include it because it would delay the video further. It's quite a fun attachment. What I didn't know is the effect it has on the suicide bombers. Will definitely look into this!
@@SurvivalModeDT thanks for replying, also don't forget about the underbarrel shotgun, it can kill a juggernaut point blank in around 4 shots, but only can carry 8 shots and only be refilled with an ammo box, so it's mainly useful as an emergency juggernaut (anything) killer
I just started survival today and it was not that bad

Melee is actually powerfull in the first few waves when playing in squads it helps you run to heal your team faster and it one shots the enemies in the mid game the FAL is over powered if you have a fast trigger finger you can kill a jugernaut with less than a mag and for later game the Rytec sniper is amazing it can blow up helis with the right atachments thats my strategy when playing with a squad and the location of your area is important it depends on how many players you have plus how many resorces you have at your disposal

aa 12 with a 32 mag and FMJ works so good against juggernauts
I'm a bit late but The AA12 shotgun with 32 drum mag
Either PKM 200 round belt
Slight of hand and any range/recoil control (aim at the cockpit of the big helicopters and shoot at the pilots, it'll save you a lot of rounds)
or the holger26 (100 rounds default, slightl of hand and any attachments to increase movement and aim down sight speed (You'll need to move fast in later stages wave 50+ as the 30 seconds timer starts decreasing, there will be a point where the timer between rounds reaches less than a second)
Eventually you'll get to a point where you can't use your guns round 140+ you'll need to fill your kill streak slots with jugg
At this point the cool down between rounds is 1.05 seconds and enemies spawn in immediately
I was on round 156 when I quit it was late I was tired, but you'll have to fight 12+ juggs on those waves and the helicopter as well, infantry are dangerous if you don't keep them back or kill them quickly
If your jugg armour is on the first stage of damage (indicate by the visor craks, first one is top left) replace it immediately once the round has finished
I was on the palace map (the biggest survival map, it's also a ground war map)
I was camped inside the house up the stairs near the door to the kill streak box and dispite how little time I had to prepare I'd still managed to get to the box
I'd leave one guy alive leave my jugg (if I haven't already taken care of the attack helicopter) and wait right next to the box
At the beginning there was 4 of us but at wave 148 I was on my own
If you are committed team of 4 players, right around 120 get jugg kill streaks (equip one and have to spare) and then buy one more to replace the one you've equiped, next be camping in the best stops like corners for example
(The best map for start to wave 90 is the one with the gun and kill streak box next to each other and campaign in the restaurant across from the hazmat building) but anything beyond wave 90+ you'd want to be as close as you can to the kill streaks
Anyone else not able to find the button assignment for the gunsmith? It just says unassigned for me when I open the weapons table. I play on PC.
ak with underbarrel incendiary and bizon with ammo upgrades are the best combo for survival with double thermite and stim. Sentry and cluster for jugg waves.Using jugg suits are insult to survival

How do you put attachments on them? I cant seem to do it, i just get the base level weapon
If this is your first time playing Modern Warfare, you have to level up the weapon through gaining XPs or kills in this mode or multiplayer. The other reason is you need to make money from the kills in this mode. There is a video for only beginners and how to rank up weapons quick in this channel. Hope this helps.

Btw what do you think about the lack of ready ups, meaning one has to wait 30 secs so many times? Could't this be easily fixed and significantly improve the progression of the survival game mode?
Have you also thought about going ak-47 with the incineary underbarrel so u can basically get 4 lethals per grenade refill?
@@torgrimwallgren1446 I do have tips for the advance players but that's after two videos that I plan to release - one very soon.
For the ready ups, if you're referring to the break time in-between waves, I don't think there's away to speed that up since we have no control over it other than trying to reach wave 56 when it drops to 20 seconds, then 12 seconds by about wave 80 which is quite difficult with helo floating above at every wave.
For the incendiary underbarrel, 4 lethals as in when you carry both Assault weapons with Incendiary attachments? If yes, I have experimented with it. I find myself forgetting that I have an underbarrel attachment sometimes especially when the game gets crazy in the later waves.
Hi, I've started playing survival mode recently and whenever I try to use the weapon crate it doesn't allow me to go into it, is there like a level requirement or something? I just got mw recently and I've mostly been playing cold war before then,I'm level 193 on cold war so I don't know if there some different leveling system for mw or if it's like a constant bug or glitch
It's a bug ever since they released an update (3 weeks ago) to correct some of the weapons for Multiplayer. It'll be fixed once everything is settled which may take a bit. I think it'll be in two weeks once Season 6 releases.

If by score meaning rank, it's a bug that they are struggling to fix since the release of Vanguard. We may have to wait for the next update for Season 3 of Vanguard which should be less than a month from now.

It only unlocks the first camo for each kind. The rest has to be unlocked by multiplayer.

Every time my friends and I (xbox and pc) reach wave 39-45 or so, the game crashes no matter what. Maybe it's a problem with our connection(s) but I have found a few results on reddit of other people with the same problem. Does anyone else have this problem or know what's going on with that? If it's a known bug that would be fixed or if it's an individual problem. I hope it gets fixed because this mode is pretty fun.
Aye man I love this game and it makes me mad that this is the second time activision has had the opportunity to make it even better and is completely blowing it off for the second time. I believe COD MW needs a massive survival mode update. You know the one we’ve been waiting since MW3 for. #UpdateCODSurvival
It would be nice if they add a few more maps and enemy armored vehicles/tanks to the mix. I think they're busy focusing on the next MW which will probably release in 2022.

I don’t think quick revive is in it, and on solo it’s kinda brutal. The map is Grazna Raid.
Answer:
1. Name of the map is Crash - first complex on the right when you spawn.
2. Not that I'm aware of, haven't witness a single player who can revive someone quicker.
3. It's actually more fun and challenging playing solo, imho. You gain money quick which translates to getting your weapon load outs and killstreaks sooner. Used to enjoy playing solo on private but they removed the XP. :(
