I think this is about J. Let's go over the imagery, first. Joshua's emlem, then the Foundation symbol, and then J's emblem. It's akin to how J started out as Joshua, became corrupted by Isaac/The Foundation Man once he entered the scene, and now he's as he is. Now, for the lyrics. While Remember was said to be about stagnation and fear (as said by Kota Hoshino), this version of Mechanized Memories is like J remembering who he used to be. "The storm was bad that day; Everyone was swept away and blown away" I think it's about Anatolia's death. "I just watched the devastation" Joshua was forced to watch as innocents died by his hand. "Ears ringing with terrible thunder" The battle between Anatolia's Mercenary and Joshua. "Even if I lose my body; These are mechanized memories" J is heavily implied to be a cyborg, and maybe even a Phantasma Being during Mission 10, someone who was digitized. Isaac and Maggy are Phantasma Beings, for example. "Even if it destroys all of me, I'm just a fantasy" J doesn't care about Isaac's genocide anymore. He broke free from the brainwashing, and now he just wants a fight where he can die quietly, surrounded by chaos, not even a mere footnote in history. J's life sucks.

Since It is heavily implied that he was cloned from Joshua and only fought because it brought meaning to his existence, as he was tormented by his ''mechanized memories'' that didn't belong to him. In the end, the was just trying to make sense of the fantasy that was his meaningless life.
If I'm understanding the lyrics correctly, I like how this remix is on the line between the myth of the "Dark Ravens" and the hard reality of their lives, but instead of balancing, it tilts back and forth, unable to be both at once. I would guess that's because _we know._ We, the player and protagonist, know the truth of what it means to be the most dangerous mercenary alive. It's a hellish life, having the power to destroy everything we see, and knowing one day someone else is going to kill us and become the next Dark Raven, the next Nine Breaker, even if they don't want the title. It will be forced upon them, because legends will grow uncontrollably about how unstoppable they are, until they fall and something even *worse* takes their place. So, I guess we are a fantasy. Because nobody will accept the truth, until they become it.
I like that, while unnofficial, this is essentially the third remix of "Remember" from Armored Core For Answer. And I think that this is a remix that armored core fans all over the world would enjoy
The “now I’m scary” part gives me chills, absolutely phenomenal song, you’ve done it justice. I listen to this on repeat while working on my books, a number of which take huge inspiration from Armored Core. Thank you for keeping this song alive!

I don't mind that the lyrics are different, this feels like a sequel to Remember, and the call back to "Oh, I'm Scary!" made me smile like an idiot when I heard it. All sequels to themes need to do this.
I'm impressed by the original lyrics; they both blend with the originals while also conveying a more coherent and uplifting story that contrasts with the gritty nature of Armored Core.

I just realized that white glint's emblem is faintly similar to J's, there is three pointed curves on the bottom two on the top with the eye in the middle in white glint's emblem and on J's it's the two legs and the tail as the three bottom points and the head and the wings as the top, the middle of the emblem is also empty as well
