Arrows? Might want to use "bolts" instead since that is the very old name for the "short, thicker arrows". A normal arrow shaft, even if cut shorter, wouldn't handle the higher "punch" of the string of a crossbow, hence why they are thicker and able to handle the extra pressure. A long time ago arrows were no longer able to penetrate plate armor, so the arms makers started making crossbows that would shoot heavier, thicker bolts with very solid and pointy metal tips that would. The trade off was a slightly longer period between shots by the best crossbowmen. Since the strings were thicker and harder to pull back, the bows shorter and much stiffer, the best crossbowman couldn't shoot as often, or as many as a bowman, but when the knights in plate armor got close, a crossbowman could put them down with a well placed bolt. Then came gunpowder weapons that could shoot further and fairly quick, but still not as quick as a good bowman. The guns got better and you likely know the rest.
I'm looking for the spare parts plates that hold the prob/limb in compression in the rail body. Do you have a price for the three plates or alternate method to secure this?
These guys have literally been told 5 mins ago to come from the tv section of the store and make a video on a sporting goods item......between the safety switch explanation which wasn't to the arm guard for the arrows.....yep, guys dont give up the day job.
One of our earliest videos, after which we soon realized this was not our cup of tea and made some stupid other videos in stead. Luckily none of us had a day job back then besides professionally shooting sticks into a target.
@@lustigerfred1233 There a thing at the front of the bow your supposed to hold and pull back the Cocking handle !!! .......sure if thats the only way works for him let him fire ahead !!
It’s a lot harder to cock than a lot of other 80LB crossbows on the market, even holding the front it can be difficult, a lot of people use their knee to cock it as it makes it a bit easier, :)
@@colheg3113 No one cocks it like that since it's not possible. This crossbow has a TRUE drawweight of 80lbs not like the cobra etc. (25lbs but stated as 80)
Careful, a good product but mine arrived with no red dot site and no quiver.I contacted them a few times and a year later still havn't gotten them.

Hi, What is the name of the second track playing, thanks.
very nice video guys!! keep it up !
I agree, the video did look well made. The transitions between clips was a tad quick, but that is an easy fix.
Don't give up the day job boys
Thanks for the sound advice
Nice Video. But not really review.

Why is your man loading the crossbow over his knee ???
Because it has 80lbs and its really hard tp reload

The crossbow is great but the red dot scope in the deluxe version is bullshit.
why?
@@9000halNASA Likes to pretend after the shot. There are better ones for the price.
@@karlorangenhaut3005 What do you mean with "pretend"? Sorry english is not my natural leanguage.Sometime i cant understand phrases.
@@9000halNASA no problem at all. ;-) What I mean is, at some red dots of this set the adjustment is no longer correct after the shot.

No, it's TRUE 80lbs, not like the cobra etc.
