@GoofyBigBack I don’t think that’s true. I think the game started in the 90s, and then throughout the years new people started coming to the circus. By the time Pomni arrived, I’d expect it to at least be 2022.
One thing people like to forget is a simple small line in the pilot episode. While pomni was in the Void and the silly watch warned Caine about it, he said "we don't want anyone to get spoilered". Then he teleported her back into the circus with all the "i made those exits up" talk, but pomni looks deeply horrified. We don't know what she might has seen there. Maybe an ending to the journey that she silently tries to avoid?
tadc will have a bad ending, its inspired by ihnmbims, and when someone asked about other seasons, goose said "i dont think there could be a second season"

I think the red and blue symbolizes two things; In IHNMAIMS game, the dialogue or action options are colored red and blue, Red symbolizes the cruel, violent or harmful choices. Blue symbolizes the moral, honest, or compassionate choices. The flashing between Caine with red and blue in the dark room might mean he's uncertain to choose violence or empathy.
I have a theory: maybe in the photo of Caine standing on the stage in nothingness it’s probably his memory of the first ever existing person who entered the circus
