Once happened to me. I asked my teacher if i could just work alone and they said yes but they would dock my grade. I was willing to do it alone but not to carry my lazy classmates grades. Ended up getting a better score that them.

@@lomencreate it sucks but group projects are important to build social skills. I'm an introvert but I deal with group projects just fine, most of the time I act as the leader. We need to get used to talking fluently with strangers.
had a presentation for a history project. 2 of my teammates were gaming the entire week, never answering my calls, had to work 6 hours on it, eventually i called their parents to tell them to work with me, they started wworking with 0 motivation, on presentation day, i was shining and luckily... we each had our OWN RESULTS, they all failed and i got a 95 ;)

This is so true in 11th grade we were all just fooling until the day we had to present, our group had nothing so I had to do the entire project about dang pigs by my self while the other groups game

For me, it reached such an absurd extent that when once at university we had a group project about cars I still ended up doing most of the work even though I'm completely disinterested in cars, never had one and know almost nothing about them while at the same time we had a guy in our group who worked part-time as a car repairman.
I had a group project one time and did all the work. My teacher asked what my group did to help. I said, ‘It’s not that they didn’t do anything. It’s that I have a certain way I want it done, and if I’m not the one to do it, it’s not right.’
He laughed and gave us all credit.

I was put as the leader of a group project about science, 2 weeks was deadline, And we were with 6 members I think, We planned to meet on my best friend's house but he got sick so we had to work on the library, which we were only allowed on our free time, And most of them ended up arguing. Most didn't even do their parts except my best friend's, one didnt give an Ayin about the project and didn't show up, and one kept objecting against my ideas impolitely, Eventually they began pointing fingers at each other, 1 hour and we only wrote the introduction What did i do? I removed everyone from the group project bc they didn't know how to actually cooperate except for my best friend and we just did it together sooner on his house, and gave it early, so I wasn't graded yet.

I once had that happen to me where a group of students in my group would do absolutely nothing, while I was sitting on my ass completing all the work. I even tried to ask if they could help me, but they never responded and it looked like they were dead inside. It went to the point where I finally decided to said something.
