what do you think are the most underrated effects? 👇
thank you man!!! It's very nice!
Set Matte, btw love the discord
1. Optics Compensation (on adjustment layer)
2. CC Scatterize (when stacked with other effects)
3. CC RepeTile (great backgrounds & transitions)
4. Transform (using skew with adjustment layer for transitions)
5. CC Sphere (classic... But nice for quick globe animations)
Echo effect 🤔🤔
I find snowfall great for a quick way to add dust particles or, when the layer is rotated, floating bubbles to help sell an environment and make it feel live.
You can animate Hue cycle in Hue/Saturation effect. The keyframe checkbox is above Master Hue next to Channel Range :)
You are underrated. One of the best instructors out there
agree
"I don't care what the client says"
You my sir are not getting paid
you guys are getting paid ??
@@motionbynick lmao
I just keyframe the colour range and it works the same way when animating hue
Bro in editing there are more than 3 ways to do it.
Happy 420!! Thanks for the killer video as always!
Dude , your video tutorials are really good . Big fan of your work .
I like to use CC Power Pin instead of Corner Pin because it shows perspective lines and allows to unstretch the screen
Thank you. Very informative.
your stuff is dope. love it.
I like the color balance effect! I'll probably start using that more often
thankyou sir! i hope this will reach many people and i hope you reach more subscribers!
WOW great video. wish i've seen this yesterday lol
wow its like very helpful! Thanks a lot
Great video, would love to see more underrated effects
Woaaa that corner pin and change to color tho! HOT TIPSSSSSS!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Hey Nick very cool! Please more tutorials like this. There lots of underrated effects. Thanks.
thanks for this video
this was awesome!
color balance is fire! :D discovered it a few days before
nice job, Nick
Didn't really understand the CC composite part, I guess I'll be tinkering with it this weekend. Thanks for the video. 😁
I haven't played with CC Composite, and there's a whole list of blend modes in there to stack! NICE ♨
Camera lens blur is super cool
Nice one dude - I agree :)
Corner Pin saved my sorry ass so many times!
Anyway I'm glad to see you use pexels too! Such an amazing service.
Anyway, HLS cycles has been 98% of my animations for 4 years!
i was using turbulent displace so many times
3:01 you actually can, its just a bit misleading, you have to click on the stopwatch for channel range, with that the master hue is keyframeable
Yes! this was a mistake on my part - however you can't easily add expressions to the hue/saturation. This is the advantage of Color Balance.
@@motionbynick true!
A very unsexy effect, but Grow Bounds. It solves so many weird little quirks that other effects cause.
That's a nice Tip
Great video, i've a question, how do you open that bar to search effects?
its called FX console - link in the description!
I like the song. What is it please?
Leaned a lot in 8:58 mins. *Straight to the point too*
Guess who just earned a new subscriber today?
👈😎👈 this guy
Actually you can animate the hue by turning on colorize box.
wow
I don't get cc composite, do you mean you can animate something that repeats for example in the animation in just one layer? like stars that shine or idk stuff
An easy example would be - you can blur text and then add un-blurred text right back on top of itself to give it a halo effect. Without CC Composite you would need to have multiple layers to do this. With CC Composite you can just stack effects and also save this as a preset.
I dont Want to by that guy but 3:00 to 3:12 yes you can animate it just want you to know
that thumbnail tho ,XDXD
dont act like you're not impressed
@@motionbynick i am XD
When Jesus starts uploading AE tutorials.
Come on, these are not underrated filters at all man! Especially the corner pin and the camera depth blur! 🤷🏻♂️
His voice is so annoying though 😴
your face is annoying
Niiick,
Just so you know you can animate the hue effect that you said is not keyframable. If you hit the stop watch by the effect name you can keyframe a rotation in the hue slider.
It is awkward because you dont have individual keyframes for all the parts pf the hue effect, its all baked into the single keyframe stopwatch. But it does work.
Im redjones.design on IG and that is exactly how I achieved the hue shift on one my dailys last week.
I mispoke and explained this poorly. You CAN keyframe it - however it's very complicated to add expressions to. Thanks for pointing this out!
@@motionbynick i agree, one of the worst designed effects for animating.
It would be nice if Ae would go in and update some of them, I love colorama but I hate its color picker interface. Come on adobe, do we need Andrew Kramer on this?
