Of course she has been training , imitating and playing with her voice for 20 years , to get where she is .
This women voice is pure gold❤
So my home town in SW Washington was where a lot of Fins settled and every two years growing up they put on a Finnish-American festival and bands from Finland actually travel over and play, but this and alot of their music reminds of that, love it

Noora has done a cover of this song before with a tempo closer to the original where you get more of her power behind the vocals. Can recommend to watch that at your leisure :)
Amazing singer Janice, buried in the Mercedes Benz that she kept asking God for. This is a great tribute to her music.

OldSkule you are so correct on how she is singing the song a Janice .......... this is only one of the many songs that were sung at that time......... if there is anyone who wants to checkout her range they should go to Steve Seagulls site and check out the intire video which has the interview and a bunch of songs to show the whole ara of her voice
What? Do you mean there are more in the Seagulls' page than Eden" and "Piece of my Heart"? Because her nest visit video only had those two songs.

Amaranthe's "Strong" is a good song. I know many Amaranthe fans were: "this sucks, why aren't they guys in the song." Many comments sayid so in the song's page. I listened ELize in an interview telling about the birth of the song; she said the boys didn't feel like they would have a role in it, they suggested it would be Elize's solo song. That's when she thought now would be a good chance to ask Noora to feature with them, as they both had wanted to do a collab with each others.
BTW, Elize is well connected with Finnish metal scene, not only because Amaranthe from neighboring country does gigs with many Finnish mtal bands, but Elize has every time participated to the Raskasta Joulua concert tour. In fact if Elize wouldn't participate, it wouldn't feel the same.
Oh! A light bulb just turned on over my head! Elize would be one very possible Seagulls guest!

@@helky8 You are right, either her mom or dad is Finnish, don't recall which. In her RUclips channel she describes herself as: "Songwriter and singer from Sweden/Finland".

I think it was brilliant to make THIS song a country version. The lyrics are made to be a country song! and sure she had country elements in her vocals, knows how to sing the genre. Beautiful arrangement from the Seagulls!
Most of us, including me, hope to hear Noora go raspy and do some heavy metal cries in the metal songs she sings. But when she goes clean vocals, that's just great. What am I saying? Doesn't she go wasted to sing clean? The answer is: not at all!

@OldSkuleNerd I have a reaction video for you it is Daisy Grey cover of Chris Issack Wicked Game, now it, not metal but it is a damn good vocal and she captures the emotion and if you like piano she plays the piano while she sings. I honestly do not know how i did not see this before but it recently came up on recommendations, and I thought of your awesome reaction and i love when you reaction to violet orlandi.
Now, I know it's been maybe 20+ years since I listened to the lovely Janis, but she was my favorite female musician way back when. And I can truly say that I can't think of anyone who could sing a Janice cover better than Noora

What I can remember is that the singing isn't at a higher tempo than the original. The band plays at double tempo, however.

Liliac is more metal this has a more country vibe they are both good but Melody has gotten better and she was 17 when she did it. And I think Melody goes higher. And I actually saw Melody do it live. Checkout the original Erma Franklin version.

First as Battle Beast fan: Familiar Hell is still my favorite track and when she throws down philosophy just before the final refrain..... ooooo buddy. Add it to the list.
For those that want more of this style from Noora she did an album funded by fans and preorder called Eternal Wheel of Time and Space from the Noora Louhimo Experience. There it is a little less country and closer to the original. She wanted the album to be more along the lines of bluegrass and blues. I freaking adore her.
