There were different sizes of plastic bottles. the smaller ones were easier to grind. I think some trams thought using large bottles would get them done faster- but the large bottles were thicker and harder to grind
Danny and Angie actually got to the pitstop before Rob and Leticia but Angie had promised Amber that she would let their team cross the finish line 1st so she waited. While she was waiting Rob and Leticia stepped on the map.
Sean and Juan said when they watched the episode, if they were the girls they would not have been friendly to the three alliance teams at all at the pitstop. They would have called them out on it.
Here's how I think it's gonna go. The all-female teams are next because the edit hasn't been kind to them. Boyfriends and Pilots continue bodying Group 2 into the final 5, and Group 2 is gonna be broken up. Flowers and Colorado decide to cut NFL loose. This backfires thanks to Angie's slowness and the couple's bickering, and NFL surpasses them in the next 2 legs. NFL then gets bodied again on the final leg.
Danny and Angie gave some interesting info in their podcast recap of this leg. They actually did beat the other teams in their alliance to the mat so they would have placed third, but they had promised Amber and Vinny they would be able to step on the mat before them since they helped them get through the car roadblock. They kept their word and waited for them to arrive before stepping on the mat. However, Rod and Leticia got there before Amber and Vinny and they took the third place spot, leaving Amber and Vinny to get fourth and Danny and Angie got fifth.
Hey,realy great podcast,i"m watching with a belly too full to sleep ,at 2 am ,after passover meal,and you are making me laugh,and great observations too,about group two,to be honest,i didn"t saw it at the time i was watching,the problem about helping Rob and Leticia, what i can offer is two observations,one, they didnt know what the next challenges would be,if it was carring logs of 40 lbs,Rob could help,and maybe he would ,who knows,secind they lovecthem ,Dani calles her Chichi. I hope i didnt made too many mistakes in english,lol,i ate yoo much drank a little,and smoked things. Thanks for your podcasts.
Like you I'm enjoying the battle for first. Ricky & Cesar have the consistency but Juan & Shane have been on an upward trajectory so it could go either way. And best of all, they aren't helping each other!
Omg that alliance was giving me the cringes..Rod & Leticia do not need help Danny! Anyway..in the end that alliance did help them all through that yukky meat challenge smart move by Danny ofcourse. I am hoping big time next episode everyone goes it alone please guys no more following each other lets go!!
The producers are letting groups leave together is helping the groups but hurting the outcome. They need to go back to letting the teams leave by the times, like they used to.
Ok, we know who probably are going to be 2 of the 3 teams in the finals. As far as helping other teams, if production really wanted to stop it, they would.

Danny KNOWS that everyone can beat his mom in a footrace, AND he knows they can beat his mom in most challenges.
