I always enjoy your videos, but the checkbox binding is not working here to save my soul. Have there been updates for .NeT 8 that would be different in usage? (I know this video is dated)
Probably after the 10th of November. I want to make all the basic videos first so I can refer people to in depth versions of what I will be doing in the series. Glad to see that people are excited about it :D
Thanks for the videos on Blazor. I've done a ton of mvc coding with razor but I feel like a complete idiot watching this video, lol. Stumbling on the basic, basics. Do you have any videos that are even more 'basic'?
I'm finishing uni in less then a year. I really like c#, worked with razor and mvc on some projects but I really like the concept of Blazor. Would you suggest I go all in on Blazor or stick to MVC/Core?
Great question Alex. It comes down to what you are looking for commercially. Blazor is create but I don't see it being adopted by huge corporations for high scale projects anytime soon. MVC/Core on the other hand is used to build huge platforms like StackOverflow and is used widely around the industry. What I suggest is sticking with MVC as the priority but also learning about Razor components because as we will see in a future video, you can use razor components in MVC.
@@nickchapsas Thank you! I have some grasp of Razor, but I can't wait for your next videos. (This was the first video I saw, I'm just right now watching your previous one, subbed!)
Rider supports server side Blazor debugging like any other ASP.NET Core project. Web assembly Blazor doesn’t support proper debugging in the IDE but you can debug it in the browser with browser linking
@@nickchapsas thanks, I was indeed trying to run/debug a web assembly/client blazor project. I just found some info here on how to run it (but no debugging yet): youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RIDER-32948
these tutorials are wonderful. you explain everything very clearly and with an easy to follow structure. thank you so much.
Finally a tutorial with a decent pace. I hate it so much when every bit is chewed through over and over again.
Finally some Blazor videos are comming out. Thanks for this video!
Very nice videos, not just this series but all of them. Keep up! Cheers!
I feel like I was waiting for this Framework
Great content....! A good resource for Blazor. Thanks for taking the time to make this series!
We could use an updated Blazor video, as Blazor has advanced considerably since this release, both in usefulness and popularity.
love your stuff but can you do an updated series with .net 8 blazor
Great tutorial. Thanks, man!
Thanks!
Keep uploading man! you're doing great
Awesome videos, thank you
Awesome video, thanks.
this is awesome thank you!
Awesome!, Muchas gracias Nick! ;)

I actually think it had to do with setting the Interactivity Location to Global vs Per Page.
Thank you :)
any idea when you'll release your first brello video? i'm very excited about that one!

@@nickchapsas now its 2 years later. does your statement still hold that i should focus on MVC/Core for now? (I'm just starting out)
Thanks Nick for this tutorial , I have question, What's the different between Razor pages project and Blazor project?
Razor Pages are running on the ASP.NET Core server and it's using a different programming model than Blazor, which is component based.
how pass parameter from childcomponent to parent component?
hi ,sorry to ask but i just curious, what editor did you use? is that visual studio?
Hey, the IDE is JetBrains Rider.
Can you explain how to run blazor apps in Rider? Is there debug support now? I found no info on how to do this
