Scorpion Mortal Kombat 11 Todd McFarlane Figure Review and Toy Hunt at Walmart, KMart, and Target.

- I was running errands today and then visited my parents in Kent Island Maryland. While doing those things, I did some toy hunting. Upon arriving back home, saw that I had an Amazon package.
Can skip to 08:20 for figure review. Figure is okay. Don't really like the face (at least what you can see of it). His face his on a weird angled ball hinge which is supposed to tilt upwards so he can look up (Really dumb articulation). SubZero is a slightly better figure.

I had no issues getting swords into and out of sheaths, but attaching them to the figure was a challenge. I’m quite pleased with my set of Scorpion and Sub Zero.
Yeah, usually I am more careful and heat my figures up a little bit in hot water before I test there joints. But for the review, I did a straight unboxing. I was able to work the swords in after repetitive placements but it did scratch up the paint. I am glad you like the figures. I personally dont like the heads, especially scorpion's.
@@seerjay2288 what I did was remove the upper torso to the rest of the legs since its connected through a ball joint, then remove the skirt thing, heated it a little bit to make it more flexible and attached all those two with a perfect fit, it took me just few minutes lucky I have a trusty hair blower.

@@seerjay2288 have you found anyone to do a custom on the head or just the eyes. Most of them look like they’re high. Idk why sub zero got the best look but scorpion their mascot got the crap end of the stick
@@youtubedeletesmychannels2329 normally, I would try my own hand at it, but just haven't had the time. I have been collecting less toys and customizing since I started onewheeling. But I do still go out and hunt occasionally.

Hope I get a good copy. Can't afford the storm figures cause I gotta help my folks around the house so these were my options for MK figures. Here's hoping mine come out good

Awesome intro to the review. Not too much of a fan of the new games, but I think this new scorpion looks badass. It's seriously the best looking scorpion since Mortal Kombat II in my opinion. Just like Raiden from Mortal Kombat 10, he looks badass but I still prefer the older games. I will say honestly the Mortal Kombat 10 Raiden is the best-looking Raiden out of all the looks. Had to complete my collection with this. He's definitely better-looking and Sub-Zero in my opinion.
Hey thanks for watching. I think the figure overall looks good other than the face sculpt. There are a few other issues with the figure, but overall a pretty good deal for the price point.

For real, that's cool, but the eyes and eyebrows still are not painted that great.
Picked mine up in Midtown Manhattan.Paint Job was perfect & I was hyped until I got home & snapped both pegs on the longer sword holder lol
@@LiviNsiN sorry to hear that. It wasn't too hard when I put the larger hilt on, but the small one was a pain in the butt. It seems like a lot of people had difficulty within this. Try calling McFarlane company to see if they will replace it. I do that for hasbro stuff.

These are old now. Your best bet is ebay, garage sale,, or a store which carries old toys.
Looks like the Sub-Zero figure is better, would you agree?
In my opinion yes. The heads for both are not great. In fact the face tilts up and down instead of the whole head. Looks silly.

I think they are relatively cheaper than other countries, but not sure why. These toys are made in Asia, but tend to be more expensive in Asia.

I dunno. I pre-ordered it on Amazon and it came. I do order alot if stuff in Amazon. Plus there is a big Amazon center around here in dc area.
I bought both figures, Scorpion and Sub Zero they look great but the articulations is so trash both of my figures had arms that didn’t even move.
Try doing the hair dryer trick to warm up joints. I microwave some hot water in a coffee mug and let my figure soak normally. It helps warm up the plastic to allow the joints to move without breaking the joints.

I think you have to buy scorpion and subzero online now. Check bigbadtoystore.com they might have some. Otherwise ebay, fb, or Amazon. I would be willing to part with my scorpion and subzero if you wanted it that badly. Mine basically were opened, reviewed and posed for my shelf.

Yeah, I don't collect neca. I try not to collect 7 inch figures. Too many things to collect as is. But I do film them in Hunts as I know some people are interested. So it may help them to know if those figures are in stores especially if they happen to be in the area I am searching. But thanks for watching.

Yeah, I am not a fan of the face it is poorly painted. The eyebrows and eye shape I feel are all wrong. Face looks like a dollar store toy.

Every Scorpion except the storm collectibles has this weird eye Liner thing around the eyes even the mezco one! this Looks awfull!! Why they do that? Scorpion is Not a Woman!! Scorpion shouldn't do a Beauty Channel in RUclips . This is sad because the Overall sculpt is awesome!!!

I dont know this time i even skiped the preorder and this are even way Better Figures than Last time.
Last Time i even preorder the 1/6 from mezco i was shocked how cheap they where and i expected way Better Figures from mezco!
i dont know it's because of the licence Mortal Kombat Figures are almost Always Shit.
The storm collectibles look pretty good, but dont think I want to be spending that much to start an entire new collection.
@@seerjay2288 i have Scorpion , Baraka and Goro (Goro ist a huge Figure and really worth the price!!) but i didnt Like that Outfit from Scorpion that much, i have the First Scorpion and it Look Like He cut his Ninja Outfit out of a blanket 😂 but with that Demon Mask it Looks kinda OK. But i want the new Scorpion Outfits as a high collectible Figure. I even bought the savage world (He-man Style) Mortal Kombat X Figures Just recently and even they Turn Out to be Better than this and they are only 10 Dollars!! But i believe you cannot have both new Outfits and high quality .
