Agree, it was weird to NOT see him. It may be because there aren't any images around of him with his partner - he is supposed to have been married and had two children, but very little out there. A great person lost way too soon.
They also have Twins.. cant remember boy or girl or how old they are too.. also Sookie is Bio too.... I was shocked too when I found out about it... have a lovely week Covid 😷

They had never met or knew anything about one another until that first audition partner read through and were then cast immediately after. They spent an hour alone while waiting to here if they got their parts just talking and getting to know one another. They begin dating towards the end of first season, and married in 2010. Then had twins in 2012.
I just watched True Blood all over again I loved and still do love the show but watching it again reminded me of how much I hate the Sookie character. Throughout the show everything is her fault her and her brother. Most people died because of Sookie. Lol 😆 it's crazy 🤪 I did hear that they wanna make a re-boot of the show, doesn't surprise me.
They could have showed Nelson Ellis he had a real life partner and he will always be apart of the show
