I use my heat gun to melt the wax. It’s much faster, easier, safer and cleaner than candles! I’ve been making wax seals for years. A warm stamp adds to the cooling time but I’ve never had an issue with image quality. I keep multiple spoons to save having to clean the spoon every time. I have one for each colour family just like blending brushes! By using a heat gun you can save the wax that melts down the side of the spoon because it won’t have soot mixed in. I just wipe it on my silicone mat after pouring. The. I add the residue back into the spoon! Paint pens and sharpies work well for colouring. I absolutely love the design of these! Gorgeous!
