- Rita is driving through Mango Park when she is pulled over by a policeman. Officer Kyle Jacobs begins questioning her but doesn't provide a reason for the traffic stop. Then when Rita steps out of the vehicle as the officer asks, she is arrested for stealing her own vehicle. Luckily for Rita, when backup arrives, Officer Patricia Taylor gets to the bottom of this fiasco and is able to set the innocent woman free. Unfortunately for Officer Jacobs, the entire embarrassing encounter is captured on video via Officer Taylor's body camera.

I actually have personal experience of this. My dad was arrested for stealing a Mercedes by a junior police officer and was taken to the police station to face charges. On arrival at the police station the local chief inspector said hello to him the reason being my dad was a doctor and the chief inspector was in one of his patients. The chief inspector confirmed my dad’s identity and confirmed that he owned the car when they did the check on it.Needless to say that junior police officer got into quite a bit of trouble.

After witnessing the body cam footage of Officer Jacobs threatening to have Officer Taylor fired, Captain Porter fired Jacobs himself. Refusing to leave well enough alone, Jacobs attempted to plant drugs in Officer Taylor’s squad car. However, he was caught in the act, and sentenced to prison for 12 years.
I’m not sure that would happen. There’ll be another Officer Jacobs video in a few weeks
Better yet, have both Capt. Porter and Sheriff Johnston on the scene. Ofc. Jacobs gets the ultimate chewing out he deserves for his unprofessional conduct!!!

After that incident, Captain Porter heard about what happened and was unhappy. Officer Jacobs was fired and he never worked at another police station ever again. Officer Taylor was promoted and she took on the role of Corporal Taylor.

She talks with Sheriff Johnston, who has seen the tape and is not pleased with Ofc. Jacobs' conduct. He would state, "Don't worry, Taylor- I've seen the tape and sent a memo to Capt. Porter. Jacobs' conduct is absolutely reprehensible and he will be dealt with, accordingly. You did good, out there, today, especially following police protocol to the letter." Ofc. Taylor would respond, "Thank you, Sheriff." Capt. Porter walks in, "Sheriff, I received your memo- I want to see that recording from Ofc. Taylor's bodycam, because if it's what I think it is, Jacobs is going to be in a lot of trouble." Sheriff Johnston replies, "Too many infractions, not following police protocol and abuses of authority." Capt. Porter, "Exactly(turns to Ofc. Taylor)- Taylor, you did very well, today. Next week, you ride with Sgt. Berada". Ofc. Taylor, "Yes, sir." Capt. Porter, "Oh Sheriff, when Ofc. Jacobs walks in..." Sheriff Johnston, "No worries, Captain- when he walks in, he's going to report to your office, because he's got a lot of explaining to do." Capt. Porter, "He sure does!!!"

Officer should not be blamed over the insurance company not doing its job along with whichever officer retrieved the vehicle & not correct the status of the vehicle. Plus, the person should have mentioned it along with telling the officer to check her purse. All of this could have been avoided if people did their jobs along with mentioning what happened & where to check.
The officer did not let the lady talk as I see. And officer Jacobs already had a prejudiced mind. He simply wasn't ready to listen to anything else.
