Starting at $81K USD, the QV is about $10K over the Porsche Macan GTS and coming from a brand that still needs to prove itself on quality reputation. I guess if you’re young, single, really wealthy and prefers a deceivingly low key sports SUV that only real driving enthusiasts know about it, this car may be the ticket. I can’t fathom this car being comfortable for families or even going on long trips while the Porsche Macan GTS or Turbo wins a few extra points in that arena. Aesthetically, most of the Stelvio Quadrifoglio looks great. But I have never been a fan of Alfa Romeo’s Hannibal Lecter’s restraint mask look on the front grill. It’s actually kinda creepy!
Would you prefer this over a Maserati Levante Trofeo? The Alfa beats the Maserati in price/performance and is also quite a bit smaller, sure, but which one drives better?
This might be what im looking for as I get older. I totally understand the American family need for a car that is small but has some cargo space, that of which the crossover SUV fills. But this, a nimble crossover that can give you some excitement while driving is basically perfect for an enthusiast trying to take more care of his family than his cars. I do really think toyota and honda should upgrade to a V6 as opposed to the inline 4s the CR-V and the RAV4 have.
All I want is a Giulia variant with around 360 HP or so; I don't need the full 505 Quadrifoglio and don't want to pay for it. Seriously, 360-400 HP Giulia Sport for $65,000 and I'm there. Bonus points for a facelift on the lighting elements.

The Macan is just a dressed up VW Tiguan
the bee in the beginning was like
oops thats the wrong flower :3
Hey I live out in Ma out in rockland about 40 minutes from you I was wondering if you ever have people come with you for ride alongs I would love to IDC even if I have to pay I would love to experience some of the cars you drive I'm a young enthusiast myself and love car culture and everything about it
Lovely sound of Italian machine
Wonder what the "reliability rating" is on this Alfa?
Would love to see pov drive with Giulia QV
How does it compare to the X3 competition?
Uglier and slower
@@saidalas7763 Thank you, for your detailed answer.
X3 has a better engine than the Macan, it’s basically on pair with the one in the Stelvio. It might lose only because it is heavier and doesn’t handle as good as the Stelvio
@@Freimopp777 Just Ignore OA. He is a Troll that has made it his life's mission to shit on every Relevant Alfa video on RUclips. You can go watch other popular videos and search his name in the comments and low and behold he is there.
Yay new video
Nissan are you listening put that 400z motor and redesign the QX70 and 9 Speed and you’ve got a RWD base CUV.
This is a good idea.
@@TedwardDrives one way Infiniti can win people back into there brand.
Would 100% choose this over the Levante. It’s smaller so may not work for everyone but this is incredible to drive
@footballcoreano nice English
Levante is on a different league.
The Maserati equivalent is the Grecale.
Can you do a Jaguar f type v6
Do you think this comparable to an Lamborghini urus and also do u think the urus as more character
The urus feels quite a big bigger and of course more powerful. This feels more like a hot hatch. Balanced with a healthy engine.
@@TedwardDrives well at least my country (Italy 🍕🍝🇮🇹 have personality on making unique cars especially the sound😎
I saw this car while I was driving around the other day
for some reason the upshift noise annoys me, sounds great at high revs but other than that it's very obnoxious
Would you buy one of these over a boxster S if the prices were about the same? For fun, and not for lap times.
I wouldn’t want the 4 cylinder Porsche. 4.0 GTS and we’ve got a deal
@@TedwardDrives I agree, but that would be more expensive as they are not available on the used market where I live.
Why would you buy an SUV if it’s just fun you’re looking for?
What a sick color!
Those plastic vents KILL ME. Ahhhh I love Alfa tho. The new GTAm is beautiful and nuts
We have the 280HP Veloce variant with 4-wheel drive. It's an amazing car. If you get the Veloce I promise you won't miss the Quadrifoglio! It's so FAST and USABLE!
@@danieleregoli812 I've driven the 280 HP Sport Carbon Ti AWD, it's significantly slower than my S3. Better handling, sure, but I am not compromising. The next car must have it all.
@@vomErsten I can see. The S3 is faster, lighter and much smaller. For a 'grown up' saloon the Ti Veloce is a pretty darn compromise, and is significantly better handling that the QV...which has a bit of a reputation! The Stelvio, being AWD is probably the better choice IMHO.. not a lot heavier, not a lot taller, but significantly safer and easier.
@@danieleregoli812 Ergo my desire for a middle power Giulia. Liked the car a lot, just needed more power. They need something to compete agai st the S4 and M340i and I'm there.
@@danieleregoli812 it's ugly anyway
How do you get these cars are you approached or you approach them
Yes i agree the blinkers are anoying.
The GLC63s is the best car in the segment. The Macan is a veryyy close second but not quite as unique with a V6 only. Stelvio and X3M are beasts too!
GLC is too ugly with that rear end
@@JedemPoKucama nah the GLC looks good especially the coupe
@@JedemPoKucama subjective, but even the regular glc63 suv is better than the competition
@@JedemPoKucama you need your eyes tested. Stelvio is ugly
The best is definitely the Stelvio.
Check track times everywhere.
Check how much bigger and heavier the GLC engine is to be able to have the same power.
The Macan is a SUV built by Porsche over a VW platform, with an Audi TFSI engine.
Cała jazda była nagrywana w trybie dynamic ? Czy race?
Should do a comparison review with the porsche
what about the macan turbo ?
I think it's time for you to review my 2019 Golf R! ;)
THOSE SHIFTS
Would you prefer this over an SQ7/SQ8 if you were buying new at the same price?
Yes 100% would choose over the Audi
This compared to an X3 M40i or X3M?
Lol small Suv, in italy a stelvio is considered pretty big. How the size change from country to country
it really is a 'small' suv in comparison. It's the same size as a BMW X3 (Audi Q5/Volvo XC60) ... above that there is the bigger X5 and even bigger X7 !!
Same in Greece..every time I see a Macan I think it's a Cayenne. And when I see a GLC I think it's a GLE because all the other cars are small here...
What's up with the stickers on the windshield hahaha
Hi, are the racing seats optional or are they standard?
Optional but these are the standard ones. The racing seats are made from carbon.
SPARCO seats are not as supportive as standard ones, that's why lees people buy them.
