Wembanyama, should he stay generally healthy, will be a fantastic player for many years. Should be a perennial all-star and could easily be a/the key piece to a title team. But he's not 'changing' basketball. So stop w/ the hype. He won't make them widen the lane, or narrow it. The league won't take away the dunk. They said this about some other guys in the recent past, and nothing really changed. Like everyone else, the league will learn how to defend him and score against him.

we got 16 picks over the next 4 seasons and the most money for free agency in the entire league. Ya’ll tripping, it’s called business. You can’t just get a team in his first year when you don’t know what he actually is. Now we do and pop has a better idea of what we need to put around him, why rush a first year player when our team wouldn’t contend no matter the players we bring in (free agency was terrible this year for the people available)
