CDF Freedom Schools® Harambee

The CDF Freedom Schools program provides summer and after-school enrichment that helps children fall in love with reading, increases their self-esteem, and generates more positive attitudes toward learning. Each day the program begins with "Harambee!" (a Kiswahili word for " let's pull together"). This is a high-energy interactive time when children and staff come together to celebrate themselves and each other.
