SFO is my favorite airport. The mix of the traffic, the parallel runways, the proximity of ocean and the Golden Gate, the arrivals and departures are always something special as a passenger and I've been flying out of SFO since the 70s.
As a Seattleite who used to work in NYC at 53rd and 6th (it’s E. 53rd and not W. 53rd), it was nice to see familiar landmarks. I’d say that seeing the Manhattan skyline from the other side of East River, and seeing the Cascades on a beautiful day are both two of the most spectacular sights in the US, and perhaps in the world.
I only do the 24+ hr overnights in JFK. Love the Midtown/Roosevelt Island locations. Doing one next month. Love the channel, hope to fly with you one of these days (typically a transcon with long overnights). I'm SEA based too.
Hey Skipper, Just stumbled onto your channel and thoroughly enjoyed this. I appreciate the flight deck and trip content along with the aircraft animation and charts! This one was particularly interesting because I live on Long Island and fly my Baron around JFK all the time. Keep up the great work.. I’ll be tuning in. Andy 😎
Another goodie. I loved the shots of the SEA departures. I only flew a few red eyes but always enjoyed the city lights on the clear nights and the Auroras in winter. Can’t say I would be excited about NYC. Nice you got to deadhead back to SEA.
Portland native at flight school in camas wa. I do XC’s to Eugene all the time and I just found ya! Been binge watching these RELIGIOUSLY. Hoping to fly for Alaska one day, see ya on the flight deck one day!✈️✈️ P.S. Go Ducks 🦆 💚💛
New to your channel and absolutely love it! So much different from other pilot channels. Love seeing the graphics, flight plan on the tablet, the weather, your post flight break downs! Aviation geeks dream channel! Keep up the great work!
@@sirjasonakana no doubt! A lot of factors go into accepting the upgrade! Ask 100 pilots, you’ll get 100 answers😉 It works for our family👨✈️ Thanks for the comment!

You’re right! It is W. 53rd. So goes my memory. I should have checked a map. E becomes W at 5th.

Man, that was a cool flight. Seattle to NYC. Layover. Then to San Francisco, then home. Awesome Job!
Thanks for this great video, cheers !

That’s awesome! Enjoy the training✈️
Great call on the Halal Guys on Sixth Avenue.
On clear days, SEA and JFK are both spectacular to fly into! Also loved the intro!

Great video, Question, Why do you guys keep your Hydraulic pumps on for the Preflight and boarding?

I had to look up that one! Thanks for the comment!
I am guessing that the sooner you upgraded and became a junior Captain the sooner you’ll be a senior Captain
