In a lot of middle eastern countries like Oman, sorcery or witchcraft used to be quite common and is still present in certain places. It involves the use of rituals, spells, talismans and also the summoning of spirits or entities to carry out the practitioner’s will. and basically what they do is use the help of the spirits to carry out the desired outcome. it’s often seen as a way to access powerful forces or energies that are beyond earthly powers by communicating with these entities. it all sounds like an otherworldly & unrealistic concept but it is very much real and a lot of people still do it. I’m well informed about the whole thing because a few distant relatives of mine still practice magic 🫣
