I can tell through the screen that the materials used are of very good quality. It’s good to know that Nilfisk is consistent. I wish they had a larger imprint in the US. Mostly they’re known here for commercial machines.
Just brought this to replace my old Cross wave. Let’s hope it can cope with an ensuite, a normal bathroom, a small downstairs loo, the large entrance by my front door, the kids front room/playroom, the normal, living room, kitchen, the small dogs room and laundry room
This is so much better than the other products of this type that I’ve seen. Aside from the better quality materials used I can listen to the sound of this motor. It doesn’t sound like a screaming insect.
Roger, I have a Bissell Crosswave (model 1785A, in the USA), and I got a 32 FL oz.(946 mL) bottle of multi-surface formula from Walmart, and it works great!
A good idea the water /solution control, I have the Karcher FC5 , that keeps flowing water and I measure an amount so it runs out and helps it dry faster once water has run out . Wow good price £80 , much cheaper than competitors machines, bargain, Glad it wasn’t just us that’s binned the mop and bucket 😝 … good video as always Roger.
Have you seen the Karcher floor scrubber, Roger? Or did you already review it? It looks markedly similar to the Nilfisk. I thought about getting one to wash my garage floor (smooth concrete)
Like the look.of this Roger just ordered myself one. Tiled floors and a dog this should beet my steam cleaner every time and i won't keep loosing the bloody pads for the steamer either
How do we use only vacuum in this machine? Also I got my machine by someone but whenever I use it, it stinks so bad,I have cleaned every but if it thoroughly but still smells very bad, do you know the reason and what can be a solution?
This has been discontinued by Nilfisk and over here in Germany the spares are already hard to get. I have been using it for two years and while it does work, it is not too impressive. It leves streaks on some tiles and needs more passes on dried on stains than similar machines. The tank release button is weird as mentioned and the flimsy cable storage looks like an afterthought. The filter dries very slowly and the brushroll isn't compatible with any other machine. There is also a large border which the machine doesn't clean at all like most crosswave types. For some application i still prefer the old spinscrub floormates which are no longer availible, those also have larger tanks to pick up spills or wet shower floors. I also have a cordless Leifheit which is very similar to the nilfisk and crosswave but for some reason cleans faster, but has a tiny tank and lousy battery indicator. One distinct feature of the nilfisk is the obscured pickup tank, which may be desirable in situations where you don't want customers or visitors to see the dirt.
I had to look up your Bissell Crosswave video and after watchin both, I must say I'll stick with Bissell. Nevertheless, the Crosswave is prohibitively expensive in my country (does the price include a premium?)
I’m a huge fan of this type of machine, £80 is a great price point but my Bissell Crosswave Max, though horribly expensive, is much better by virtue of its cordless nature and its self-cleaning feature. I always vacuum first but it still picks up debris. Mops and buckets are terribly inefficient… I hate them!
I say in the video that you can put hot water up to 60 degrees in the tank according to the instructions. I have always said never to put boiling water in any floor washer or carpet cleaner.

As it seems to put down very little water would this be suitable for a floating wood floor?

Love see you review the shark cordless hydrovac floor and carpet mop if ever get your hands on one and find at good price.
We don’t have that model in the UK at the moment but I may get one if it is launched over here.

It looks similar to a Vorwerk upright a wee bit.

When will you do a video of your new washing machine?
That has a similar shape to the vorwerk

Yo review the Nilfisk VP300 Vacuum cleaner
I think your request would have more chance to be accomplished if you add "please" and use British accent.
Never put boiling water because it will cause damage to the solution tank
