Thank you! I've been wearing these but couldn't find the color I want. I was leery of trying to make these myself, but you've made it so clear. Bless you! For people not familiar with knotting stretch cord, there are all kinds of jewelry making tutorials on the technique. And for those who cut their elastic string, put a clothespin on the end and your beads won't fall off. Or, you can buy a bead stop for cheap.

Just what I needed! I had a purchased set of these, beaded. The elastic string broke, sending little beads everywhere. Boo! I made the one with the plain hair elastics, just what I was looking for. Thanks for sharing!!

What type of elastic cord do you use, and what strength and size (like the gauge in a wire) is it?

Vicki Mejia-Gewe Hi, I don't use elastic cord, as you can see in the video, I use elastic hair ties. But make sure to use the thin hair ties, and not the thick ones.
