well there are 4 different bones there.. actually 5 when dude swaps to alto for the throne room solo- you have a bass, tenor, 42B, 32B f attachment, and swaps to the alto. everyone of the have a different piece of sheet music. so it is highly impressive. What do me under utilized? It is hands down the most important instrument in a symphonic orchestra- it cannot operate without a mid range tenor of that power.

Trombones aren't under utilized at all. There's a lot of good music that takes advantage of the trombone's versatility and timbre, even if it has some technical limitations. And to be fair, the trumpet is far more versatile even if it is tiring to play above the staff, no other brass instrument can really play that high, and it is a valved instrument that can play technical passages way easier and usually better. Nothing against the trombone, I play trombone, it's just that there's a reason people would rather hear high trumpet stuff in jazz and classical music, because not only is it impressive to hear a high trumpet register because it's high, its also impressive because it's hard.
this was a multiscore written for french horn and trumpet that was done in bass clef to get the quartet to have different sounds during this- mad respect
Proof that, played well, the trombone does not sound like a fart. Then again, if farts sounded like poorly played trombones, that's still a helluva fart.
As a former orchestral bass trombonist I cant remark how well this sounds,I myself prefer a tad more boldness,but these guys are obviously very young and very talented

Absolutely amazing. This is one of the best performances of Star Wars I have ever heard. (Obviously, because of the trombones too 😉). That hall sounds great.
I know it's unlikely given how many Star Wars covers and tribute pieces have been recorded, but I hope John Williams has seen this. I think it's a beautiful representation of one of his great works. Some of those chords were just impeccable in this recording.
As the only trombone in my high school this year, I live in envy. Someday I’ll have others to hopefully play this with! :] Amazing playing, sounds beautiful!
