Another thing about the Bates family is that Gill and Kelly are supportive of if their kids go to college or not the Duggars on the other hand don’t even let their kids go to college.

The bates must have much less strict relationship stnadards than the duggars.... Being Thant they let them be alone on the boat ride and such and they full on hugged after the proposal. I like the bats standards.... The duggars seem too harsh on that.
I agaree. I love the duggars but i think they have put to many restrictions on their children. hugging is not sex, a hug and hand holding are very innocent sweet gestures that a couple should not feel guilty about

You can tell how a guy was raised by the way they act. Just to see people respect each other is refreshing. In the world today respect and being thoughtful is forgotten. People are not like they used to be. This young man's parents should be proud of the son they raised. Where I live I see many people who are just idiots. I am being polite. If all the kids in this family are like that they have done something that is rare

I didn't take any notice of his hands, in many cultures including my own, men don't necessarily wear a wedding ring.
