I'm born and raised in Monterey. It's so funny hearing you guys talk about the Italians here. They have been here forever cuz it's a fishing town but they bought up all the real estate and they hang on to it. Once the sopranos came out every one of them thinks they are Tony soprano. I live right up the street from where planet Gemini used to be , the porn store is still there. And golden state theater is on Alvarado and that is where all the bars are but they all close at like 1030 because the old people in charge don't want gangbangers coming from Salinas. The presidio was open tell 9/11 now it's closed to anyone who isn't military
