The story of attack on titan spans almost 2000 years. Inside the walls it's been 100 years. So if you look at it that way, it would have been around the start of Rome when Ymir became the Founding Titan. So the art reflecting the time period is correct.

But as we all know, the path let the dead exist. So Eren Will somehow continue the rumbling either by using historia baby or something after zeke died
Lets face it. Eren is the devil that ymir made deal with. All of the titan shifter eren is the only pointed ears look more than the devil than a humanoid titan. Afterall my theory is that he order eren kruger to create the eldian restorationist movement and sent grisha to the paradis island to claim the founding titan so he can make contact with ymir.
There could be a chance that whatever gave Ymir her powers was no devil at all. It Especially considering that a LOT of the "devil" conjecture was Marleyan propaganda
@@sebjink.9037 my theory is whatever give Ymir power was pure chance. I think the hoards of people after that rumbling frame, aren't Eldians going to Paradis, but the remaining population of the world after the rumbling starting from scratch. Also, the bird shown after that is supposed to be Eren, his flying away shows how he became free, and the Titans that emerge from the ground after that shows that the history of Titans continued after that (hint to what happened in the extra pages of the last chapter, the mysterious girl with the dog going inside that tree where Ymir Fritz became a Titan).
Not only isayama spoiled ymir's story he also showed us eren combing through past and future showing us the viewer his motivations even before he touched historia
Nah the whole ED was showing something from the past. Like going through the cannal of history. The Paradis Eldian are still in the island under Historia's reign following Eren's will to keep moving forwards.
I started watching Aot when I was 13 in 2018, and had watched this ED but I didn't understand what was going on after reading the manga and watching half of season 4 I was just so shocked...
The gap between S2 and chapter 122 was 3 years, obviously Isayama didn't have absolutely everything planned out, but he had a really clear backstory for the world even very early on. That kind of writing is fantastic for continuity.
Am i the only one that thinks they should make a prequel for aot with the great titan war and just a bunch of aot lore, that would be sick even if its just a movie
That last clip may not be the titans waking up to slaughter the marleyans. It might parallel eren being killed, turned into a bird and as a result all the other titans being turned back into humans
Season 2 of this show was my fav (until season 4 came out) bc it just freaked me out. The outro freaked me out even more after watching every episode. Had no clue about any of it spoiling the show lol; seems very obvious to me now that I know lol
Saw this on Reddit for the first time: "Remember these guys? Connie, Jean, Gabi, Reiner's mother. This is them now: --> 1:13 feel old yet?" I was like "huuuh?" At that time I'm still reading Memories of the future chapter and by the time I caught up with the flow, I was so surprised and sad at the same time! It was so random and unexpected holy fuck
The founding Titan's power is to turn anyone(eldian) into Titans at will right???so this who appear in the flat lands may by eldians who barely survived being turned into titans
Wit is the goat, the quality and creepiness of the ED being made in a roman/medieval esque art style really made it eerie and creepier, especially the first time I watched this without any context
It's really fucking jarring how people back the had to put up with the rein of titans and shifters with no equipment or proper tools to even combat them at all. Thank Angel for the ODM gear.
As an anime viewer (read some manga after watching S2, then stopped, then the anime caught up), I thought everything in the ED is from the manga but anime viewers cannot understand yet.
Yep, I love how many of the Marleyan towns have Italian names - such as Lago, Monte, and Valle - meaning "lake," "mountain," and "valley". Marley itself could be a mistranslation of the Italian word "mare" meaning "sea". Marley characters also have Italian names (Calvi, Theo, Porco, Niccolo). It makes a lot of sense considering that Marley seems to be based on the Roman Empire (while the Eldian tribe is Germanic)
listening to s2 ed is creepy at first but the more times you listen to it its just so cool hm the end picture resembles for me that one of them arent bowing to her but awy from her and the ed one has an X on it meaning its like the one in the manga if that makes even sense🤔
at first i thought the people seen walking in the desert in the ed were eldians migrating to the walls, but after seeing the titans rise from the desert it makes a lot more sense.

I also think 01:07 symbolizes that Ymir Fritz keeps creating titans with soil in the path/coordinate.
Now if you guys saw final season ending.
SPOILER
One of the lyrics is "even if my body turned to ash, i will be immortal". So 2 chapter left and Armin blow up founding Titan with collosal nuke. But as we all know, the path let the dead exist. So Eren Will somehow continue the rumbling either by using historia baby or something after zeke died
you mean Ymir living again by her soul in the paths world after 2000 years from her death
Well guess what.
Spoiler
Our chad eren now gonna take rest after do rumbling.
Hope he R.I.P
Well, Guess what!?
Lets face it. Eren is the devil that ymir made deal with. All of the titan shifter eren is the only pointed ears look more than the devil than a humanoid titan. Afterall my theory is that he order eren kruger to create the eldian restorationist movement and sent grisha to the paradis island to claim the founding titan so he can make contact with ymir.
There could be a chance that whatever gave Ymir her powers was no devil at all. It Especially considering that a LOT of the "devil" conjecture was Marleyan propaganda
All of the attack titans have pointy ears
@@sebjink.9037 my theory is whatever give Ymir power was pure chance. She fell into a lake, the Hallucigenia give her the power but didn't demand anything in return, and she didn't use it for herself but rather for the others. But I am always curious why she didn't do anything for herself or her freedom or other people freedom. I mean, she was the one who set the pigs free for the first time
The greedy devil was King Fritz, the hooded devil will be Eren.
@@jonathanmed All of the Jaegers had pointy ears in their Titan form, Grisha, Zeke and Eren.
The Attack Titan of Kruger had normal ears.
Goodbye, to the boy who sought freedom.
this is what eren saw when he kiss historias hand
This is kinda random but can you imagine if the anime animation was like that ending. The color, the graphic and everything
Regrésenme a la época donde no sabíamos nada y nos habían dado todo el spoiler del manga
The Bird is falcon flying away from Eren explosion
@@ηαωκ That doesn't even make any sense
bruh theres literally an explanation to that scene on the right side of the video
00:50 I think that might be connie and armin because in chapter 138 connie turned into a pure titan
if it is right then erens colossal titan would be there too but no
@TheTorturedEyes but in the manga there was no explosion
@@Alan-xg4yr idk its just my theory
@@annasuzw Yeah bro and i was discussing you about it nothing wrong in both things
No
I dunno but animated one make it more scarier 💀
Not only isayama spoiled ymir's story he also showed us eren combing through past and future showing us the viewer his motivations even before he touched historia
1:00 in my opinion those people migrating are paradis' citizens moving to marley in chapter 139 (the last one) after the rumbling ends
That sounds like it could be real.
Nah the whole ED was showing something from the past. Like going through the cannal of history. The Paradis Eldian are still in the island under Historia's reign following Eren's will to keep moving forwards.
0:05 i thought those were eldians and other races going to paradis
Exactly what I thought, turns out it was non-eldian refugees running from titans, only to end up getting ambushed by them
I started watching Aot when I was 13 in 2018, and had watched this ED but I didn't understand what was going on after reading the manga and watching half of season 4 I was just so shocked...
Can we just talk about how Isayama had it all planned out since the beginning.
Damn no one talked about it
It takes good and conscious writing to put scenes in the end credits of an anime that hadn't happened in the manga. Isayama is storytelling genius
The gap between S2 and chapter 122 was 3 years, obviously Isayama didn't have absolutely everything planned out, but he had a really clear backstory for the world even very early on. That kind of writing is fantastic for continuity.
0:58 I think it actually symbolizes the Eldians that were taken by Karl Fritz to Paradis
No shit Sherlock.
Really good job
Am i the only one that thinks they should make a prequel for aot with the great titan war and just a bunch of aot lore, that would be sick even if its just a movie
That last clip may not be the titans waking up to slaughter the marleyans. It might parallel eren being killed, turned into a bird and as a result all the other titans being turned back into humans

Season 2 of this show was my fav (until season 4 came out) bc it just freaked me out. The outro freaked me out even more after watching every episode. Had no clue about any of it spoiling the show lol; seems very obvious to me now that I know lol
season 2 is so good!
That medieval touch is really great!
Saw this on Reddit for the first time:
"Remember these guys? Connie, Jean, Gabi, Reiner's mother. This is them now: --> 1:13 feel old yet?"
I was like "huuuh?"
At that time I'm still reading Memories of the future chapter and by the time I caught up with the flow, I was so surprised and sad at the same time! It was so random and unexpected holy fuck
Attack Titan is the only anime where anime watchers spoil manga readers
You mean the author and the studio?
I heard that one piece did the same
1:00 thats people running away of the rumbling (THIS ANIME IS AMAZING)
Not really
The Eldians retreated to Paradis Island after losing the Great titan war
The planting titans in their escape route seems so fucking cruel god damnn.
0:46 chap 134?
Si
Yep, the baby is there
Holy shit, that's some deep symbolysm
@@brunopianodude9938 yup I wonder what that means.
They are not on a Cliff they are on the City. No way that could be a Chapter 134. And the titans are just small and not a single colossal titan.
Flying bird is Falco's titan😎😎
The sun in background is the Founding Titan explosion
@@bxrto8165 and titans after bird disappearance are...🤔
Yes
The founding Titan's power is to turn anyone(eldian) into Titans at will right???so this who appear in the flat lands may by eldians who barely survived being turned into titans
Nah, just a sun with a bird flying
whoever decided to make it medival art is a genius
Isayama's foreshadowing is immaculate to this day
Fun fact. The crack over the founding titan is the same symbol the patriots use to mark themselves which shows their true end goal
Somebody needs to do an update of this after chapter 138.........
Im starting to like this ending lmao even tho I was scared in 2017
1:05 Thats the bird titan if you get it
Wit is the goat, the quality and creepiness of the ED being made in a roman/medieval esque art style really made it eerie and creepier, especially the first time I watched this without any context
who will say the anime spoilled secretly manga readers
love how basically everything shown in this ending gets completely recontextualised by the basement and future reveals
So cool that the fantasy showed Ymirs titan like a beautiful goddess but in reality she was a grotesque monster
0:42 didnt notice that flamboyant titan from that time levi first goes against the beast titan.
So that titan was around since the beginning?
0:39 the biggest titan on the left panel looks way too similar to Erwin for some reason
1:05 Eren final chapter
Thank you for acknowledging that the ocean scene is the invasion of Lago, the amount of people I’ve seen claim it’s the rumbling is weird
The anime came from the future can't convince me otherwise
0:40 btw "Lago" means Lake in Italian
Yep, I love how many of the Marleyan towns have Italian names - such as Lago, Monte, and Valle - meaning "lake," "mountain," and "valley". Marley itself could be a mistranslation of the Italian word "mare" meaning "sea". Marley characters also have Italian names (Calvi, Theo, Porco, Niccolo). It makes a lot of sense considering that Marley seems to be based on the Roman Empire (while the Eldian tribe is Germanic)
When you realize they used season 4 ed in season 2
listening to s2 ed is creepy at first but the more times you listen to it its just so cool
hm the end picture resembles for me that one of them arent bowing to her but awy from her and the ed one has an X on it meaning its like the one in the manga if that makes even sense🤔
I still can't believe that they ate their mom just to pass down the power through generations.
at first i thought the people seen walking in the desert in the ed were eldians migrating to the walls, but after seeing the titans rise from the desert it makes a lot more sense.
