How IP addresses work - Networking Fundamentals

This video is all about building the right foundation for all the upcoming Networking related videos. In this video, we talk about the basics of IP Addresses. This information may seem simple but is very powerful in understanding the complex concepts later on.
We will be dissecting the IP addresses and understanding each component. We also learn about Subnet masking and about different classes of network addressing. We will also learn to write and understand the IP address spaces in the CIDR notation.
These concepts are applicable to all kinds of networks be it physical or virtual networks. These apply to Virtual Networks (vNets) in Microsoft Azure and are equally applicable to Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) in Amazon AWS.
