Being Irish and living in the U.K. myself, I agreed with Benazir Bhutto then and I still feel the same way - it’s beyond tragic what is still going on in Pakistan, with the ongoing conflict that shows no signs of ending, amid terrible poverty and deprivation among so many good Pakistani people who yearn for peace in Pakistan - Benazir’s horrific death on her return from exile the moment she arrived back in her beloved Pakistan is beyond heartbreaking, without her ever being allowed the chance to bring a lasting peace to Pakistan 🇮🇪☘️🇵🇰🙏💔😪😔

This was such a fascinating interview..Benazir Bhutto's candid statements on terrorism proved to be eerily accurate.! She obviously knew far more about 'home grown' extremists, than her political counterparts and wasn't afraid to voice her opinions..She knew too much and her assassination probably had links to international terrorist organisations..Benazir was an incredibly brave, intelligent Stateswoman, who wanted to modernize Pakistan by providing better healthcare and to rebuild an archaic education system..She used to say that 'democracy, was the best revenge'..Unfortunately, her patriotism and love for her people, lead to her untimely death/murder..

She was corrupt and a big part of the problem facing Pakistan. You're giving her too much credit 😂 she was as idiotic and selfish as any politician. As for democracy, it has failed both in the west and east. Democracy is the biggest lie of the 21st century.
