In Canada, the principal of multi chambered windows also extends to aluminum windows for commercial buildings. More chambers creates more dead air for insulation. Innotech is a great example of this. All the PVC window companies here are all using the same thickness for PVC, the differentiating factor is the number of chambers and insulating EPS foam. The one outlier is Nordik windows that has microcellular PVC that is thick PVC with millions of holes to create dead air.
Jeff , good insights but assuming wall thickness is the same on both products, the number of chambers does increase fusion welding surface area so durability and corner strength is increased.
I had a company come out and they did talk up the number of chambers their windows have. Instead of talking about their strength they were saying that the greater number of chambers meant that the window was going to be much more insulated. The more chambers you have the better they are in terms of efficiency. Whether that's true or not I have no idea.

Ok so then if we take a Premium Vinyl and combine that with more chambers and then get the Gold Seal of approval...you get a Great Vinyl Window!? ProVia Endure window (shameless plug) sounds like fits the need!

There is some truth to that. However, that's not the reason they built it that way. They built it that way because they needed to for strength.
