  • this is the Mitsubishi Triton dpf back exhaust system for the MQ and MR Triton.
this is a 304 stainless steel system that is a bolt in replacement for the standard system. it is a dpf back system that finishes before the diff for maximum sound, flow and ease of installation of a large spare tyre.

    I have a few questions
    - is it loud or not really?
    - does it improve performance?
    - does it require a tune afterwards to stop error codes?

      Hi,
It is a moderate level, we played around with a few setups and found this to give the most sound possible with the dpf in place. They do perform better down low and in the mid range. It works really well with an intake and throttle controller. It also diff dumps so you can fit a bigger spare in the back.
It's totally bolt on and not tuning required.
      Cheers
      Luke

Is there any difference between an auto and a manual exhaust

      Hi,
They are both the same. This fits all models and is very easy to change over.

Can U install without shorting the exhaust ??

This is a shorter system to get the maximum possible exhaust note volume and without the exhaust at the rear you can fit a larger spare

Do the flanges have a torque setting ?

Nothing specific. They are a grade 8.8 high tensile bolts so they take quite a bit of torque. Very firm with 2 spanners will do it
