  • Ok, so I took a big beating just for the prior video title alone so as per the suggestion of others, changing the title from the previous one that gave people the impression this video is about espousing the reasons why we should mass vaccinate, which it was not. Rather, what benefits can we speak of once we took that step?
In this follow up to Top 10 Mass Vaccination Mistakes, we are now discussing top 10 scientific benefits that we either achieved due to mass COVID-19 vaccination directly or due to the new surprising knowledge it has helped to uncover.

Even if you are saying is correct, it shows how little you know about data analysis. You do not look a raw / absolute numbers as they do not take into account the proportion of people in the population that are vaccinated / unvaccinated. That is why hospitalisations and deaths are quoted per 100,000 people in the vaccinated or unvaccinated group. For example, if 95% of the population are vaccinated, and it is known that the vaccine REDUCES the chances of being vaccinated, you most likely will have more vaccinated people in the hospital. It is a numbers game!

I would agree with that. Neither this video or the one on top 10 mistakes are about whether we should have employed that strategy, only, what can we now learn from it. Case in point, we don't know what the high levels of IgG4 antibodies in mRNA vaccinated mean long term clinically (and I hope it does not mean harm, but I see such possibility) but now that we are seeing it and studying it, we need to take appropriate lessons out of it to not cause any harm in the future

  • @fionnaheller1873
    @fionnaheller1873 8 месяцев назад +31

I do not personally think that an assessment of the benefit of mass vaccination with these new technolgies is complete unless also viewed entirely from the point of view of those it best served. It did a very good job if amassing great wealth, securing power, exerting control over a declining population and introducing a rigid and irresistible grip over the health protocols visited upon the survivors, if finding it easier to manipulate public opinion happens to suit one's agenda. I could describe a few more more imaginative benefits but it is probably a hanging offence to do so.
For myself, and I do not live everywhere so can only rely upon my own experience, vaccination was swiftly followed by people then having quite difficult bouts of covid, not once but several times, and this is still ongoing. In those who chose to avoid vaccination there was less serious infection, and where exposure to covid had already taken place, far less re-infection. If that did occur at all, it appeared to have less serious effects and far faster recovery times. I'm surrounded by people who repeatedly have covid and are not well at all. The only ones who do not follow that pattern are unvaccinated. However, this only relates to the small, remote place and the community I live within. I have no idea about anywhere else.
I cannot comment upon the figures given indicating reduction of hospitalisations and severity of illness because too many other factors are not taken into account to allow the claim to be properly supported. Furthermore, I wonder how many people have to risk injury or death to save one individual from hospitalisation. That also should be factored in when assessing a benefit or otherwise.
I notice that it is never mentioned that the vaccine was engineered with the original strain in mind and therefore its apparent inability to deal with Omicron, which more closely resembles the initial virus than later strains, seems significant to me - but I am not a virologist so am happy to have that point explained to me. Nobody has mentioned it so far.
I was under the impression that Dr Bossche's point was not so much that a future variant would prove more pathogenic in itself but, rather, that the immune system of the vaccinated is so badly rearranged this would not be able to cope with the modifications he anticipates developing.
I do not think mass vaccination is the wisest method to introduce new technologies. Encouraging that degree of foolhardiness does not seem to me to be a benefit for Mankind. It is a dangerous precedent.
I would have thought that we needed no further lessons about the dangers of introducing unknown and poorly tested products into a population. Thalidomide, to name but one, demonstrated that quite well. I'm not entirely convinced about notice being taken as regards menstrual cycles. I do take the oint, but since vaccination has been common to us all for a very long time, I would think that this kind of side effect is infintely more marked for it gain any traction at all and I find it unlikely that any Board of Directors would have the smallest interest if paying attention impacted profits.
It has allowed intensified interest in the so-called new technologies, which have been 40 years in the making. That cannot be denied.
It has also created an active interest in health, also encompassing alternative disciplines, which was largely absent in the general population and that is potentially an undoubted benefit. In fact, when I consider it all, that is one benefit I can confidently state covid, and its subsequent vaccination programme, has inspired. As a second consequence, I think the public is also beginning to question the validity of political statements made by respective governments.
A valiant attempt, Dr Raszek, and I do not mean to be rude or obnoxious. I simply cannot view this from quite the same perspective. I, too, have had nothing against vaccination, beyond a mother's measured concern when my children were babies. I saw no intelligent reason to justify exposing an entire population to this raft of vaccination, and especially not children or pregnant women - none at all for myself because I had the early variant and despite multiple exposures to covid since, it passes me by.
    Apologies for length.

Unfortunately no one is studying the possibility of shedding (and as you point out, exosomes could very well be the culprit - or at least I am very open to that possibility). But let's assume it is real for the sake of discussion then, keep in mind, such shedding would be temporary, and over time it would disappear. Now people are not vaccinating to the same degree with boosters so exposure should be far far smaller. On top of that, over time, as the immune system has been continually trained, it should become better and better with dealing with such exposure. This would mean we probably should not see as many people comment any more how they started showing symptoms when exposed to vaccinated

For example, I state it over and over, that I would no longer recommend mRNA shots due to the fact that we still do not know what the consequences of the IgG4 antibodies are that we are seeing in the vast majority of mRNA vaccinated. This video is not about why we should mass vaccinate, but rather, what benefits can we claim once we did mass vaccinate. There is a difference there

    • @Merogenomics

So I can't speak for Europe data, but let me tell you how I recollect things in Alberta (ruclips.net/video/L5u16lBgpGg/видео.html). As I mentioned in this video, that is where the myth of "pandemic of unvaccinated" was born because we were inundated with data showing that the vast majority of infections and hospitalizations were in the non-vaccinated. At the time of Delta, the portion of the population being hospitalized, especially in ICU, was still mainly non-vaccinated (although vaccinated started to creep up, but we still ignored it because majority of those were still within the 14 days post vaccination). So, the way I see it, is that vaccines were protecting very well against the Delta, but they might have also helped its selection into prominence

That period that you appeared to think was so rosy was an excruciating nightmare for me as I worked 16-18 hours days trying to help that people harmed by the c19 vaccines, most of which had POTS & Dysautonomia. They were gaslighted by the doctors all while having their lives grind to a screeching halt. So your feedback is extra important. what you mention about POTS is outside my knowledge scope and this video series is objective way of looking at how science I study is describing all of this to me. Without this topic, I would not even hear about your feedback which to me points to discrepancy of lived experience with documented information. That in itself is valuable as we also have to think about how do we fix misinformation of this kind. At the same time, in my core what is my message: go outside to nature, and be as open minded to all angles of science as possible and do not corner yourself into a stance that cannot ever be changed. I am not asking for anyone to change their mind, but to practice open mind when listening to the arguments of others. Your experience is obviously so powerful that I would not be on a mission of attempting to change your mind. But I do have to attempt to let you know that I aim to provide as honest interpretation of science as possible, and that requires practicing the capacity to hear the exact opposite theories of what we generally identify with.

@@Merogenomics you know I’ve been watching behaviour my entire life. That’s something that most people take for granted when for me it was always instinctual in the same way wildlife is constantly watching and listening behaviours. People don’t know that research is for textbooks, life isn’t like that, we’re not cattle, which I noted elsewhere today on top of which the cow was intentionally bred so badly that it can’t deliver life itself on its own. How would you feel if I promoted a product that made you dependent on me? And especially when you didn’t actually need it. If you’re as independent as I am by nature you’d be livid you’d know I was trying to throw you in jail. And what people don’t know about that is that the male mind in general is constantly looking for ways to control everything starting from their own yard you can see that everywhere no respect for the beaver or muskrat etc because it’s building nests or digging holes etc whatever’s considered in the way and so yeah I SEE ALL OF THIS and it’s for all kinds of reasons but only their own from those who think they’re helping to those who want what’s easier, so why is that a reason for me to move with their train of thought? It’s not. There’s so much I could say and give examples and there’s a lot of politics at play in science, so what I know for sure is that I don’t have to play along. So yes, wanting to predict everything that’s a state of control in the mind. EVERYBODY is different no two are alike. How is that not obvious. My grandfather who was told he’d never walk again and did ON HIS OWN. Me not getting covid when EVERYBODY, including experts, SAID I WOULD. And I shouldn’t have to tell anyone how far that mentality will go. Nobody talks about control it’s a disease that’s creeped into everything. Wildlife with neurological illness, you’d think it was toast, right? No, it healed on its own. I know that the human being has been largely undermined. All of wildlife has themselves figured out they know what they do. I’m definitely not convinced the Homo sapien does.
