Doing the wide body on my current Charger body swap. Everything looks very familiar. I love the hood mechanism on the Coronet. A very elegant solution to that area that is all crammed up near the back corners. I saw a Road Runner that was swapped about 10 years ago. Very nice finished car. Problem was they cut the front shock towers to put the old gigantic B body hinges on the car. I heard from one of the guys on the build that the front tires had no suspension travel because of the pockets they made. It all looks easy until you get to the details. It sure don't look like you're scared.

Wow! Thanks Steve. I watched your previos build. You are a great fabricator. This build has been sitting since 2018. I would love to do a crossover with you about the benefits of body/chassis swaps or??

You inspired me. I have a 59 El Camino. I just bought a 2015 Caprice ppv. The wheel base is same as your 59 impala. should fuse.

Wow, all the hood murals you could display with those front opening hood hinges..do the lowrider folks know about them?
