Solid, simple tutorial - thank you!
Quick note: When the two layers have to be blended together the only way I got it to complete the blend was by using the toolbar: Object > Blend > Make
Thanks for the info, and thanks for watching!

Finally figured out how it works :D! So you have to click 'blend' first to make the blend and adjust the options later. It wouldn't work if I just opened the options with 'preview'
Glad you were able to figure it out mate!

is there a way to do this and make the "blended" area its own shape? I am trying to add an outline to my front layer and then delete it from the text, so that the background serves as the outline.
Please help before it drives me crazy.
As far as I know the best way to do that would be to outline with the pen tool
I CANT GET THE LAYERS TO BLEND. I have them both selected and confirmed by viewing in the layers panel. Do I have to create outlines of text first? I tried the Object, blend, make as well and did not have any luck. Suggestions? Thank you for your help in advance!
Try outline the text
Agree, that’s a great starting point
omg ur cute af! btw thanks for tutorial!
Thanks brother
I like this method but i notice that there is a lot of points when you expand the shape
You could always draw over it with the pen tool too!
Is there a way to do this same idea but with the drop shadow going towards the center?
Yes, you'll have to adjust the first options! The scaling of the objects
Yup! Just scale the first item differently.
nice hairstyle
Thanks 🫡
Does this still work with text already created as outlines? I have a logo from a customer that isn't the TTF.
Yes this should still work, thanks for watching!
