I think it's a great idea ..you are actually present at your funeral...and u get to hear the comments about you and this was so therapeutic for her daughter and mother..

Yeah when your soul leaves your body behind as an empty shell it's very important that you have a custom-made sparkly red casket to it in. Let me apologize to all the people who are hungry at the moment and could have been fed with such a huge expense.

I want people to celebrate life and I get it’s a grievance process, but not when I’m alive and getting on well. That’s just cringey and makes me cry 😢

This isnt good at all.. its weird and creepy for one. Words are powerful, dont invite negative energy into your life. Shes doing a bad thing here, imo.
Me and my mother fought a lot through the years because before id leave she would say "dont go out there and get pulled over" or "make sure you watch for this.." and everytime whatever she said would happen. Any other time things went smooth.
A bad example but its true is i used to be addicted to heroin and EVERY morning i would go cop with out issue. Every morning for 5 years.. and ONLY if she said "be careful out there" or "dont get burnt" IT WOULD HAPPEN. I live in baltimore city, theres dealers on every corner but the few times she would say something nobody would be around, police would be out, or id buy some bullshit. Only happened like 5 or 6 times but every time she said what was gonna happen, I would get so pissed, and something went wrong.
The last straw that finally made her believe me was i needed her to drive ne someone and i told her she couldnt have air fresheners and a hawaiian lei around her rear view mirror, they had been there at least 3 years. I told her "i got pulled over for that, take it down theyll take any reason to pull you over and i have stuff on me.." and she said "thats bullshit ive had it for up for years.." and probably 30 minutes later we pulled out of a store and a cop pulled her over and told her it was for the rear mirror and it was an obstruction of windshield.. and gave her a warning, thank God.
I stared at her and said "do you believe me yet?" and she finally stopped saying stuff. Even though shes saying something as a warning to me, its throwing bad energy my way. I think words are way more powerful than we know. She doesnt do it anymore and the few times she starts i tell her to stop, and she does. Before she would say "oh me saying something isnt gonna change anything" but it always did.. and she noticed.. im glad it happened to her so she could see im not crazy and cut it out. I believe you can wish bad things on a person, and even unknowingly, it will happen.. maybe not exactly how you say it but in some form close to it. Like putting roots. But im Christian.
I dont care if i sound crazy, keep your negative comments to yourself.. dont put it on me. My best friend was jamaican and her mom taught me always trust my gut.. if something feels weird or off i stay home or dont go out. And its never steered me wrong. She said that feeling is embedded in our DNA, through years and years of our ancestors living with less and having to be aware of who and what they are around. If something doesnt feel right, even if you cant put your finger on it and its just an off feeling, dont ignore it. Same with people, you can be in a room full of strangers and feel anxious because you dont know them but feeling creeped out or like you need to be standoffish with someone, dont be scared to vocalize that, tell a friend or someone who doesnt make you feel that way.
Us woman are raised to nicely laugh at creeps and say we have boyfriends because saying no can cause a man to attack us verbally or physically.. but if any person or situation makes you uncomfortable just make some distance, or leave. Get away from it.
