Dolores O Riordan wrote this song after two young boys were killed by an IRA bomb in the UK. She deplores the continuing violence in Northern Ireland and is saying that they don't represent us irish as they hark back to the revolution and Irish civil war. Her version is beautiful with the accompanying video on the troubles. This is a brilliant cover and beautifully faithful to the original in honour of Dolores RIP
It KILLS me that now a days no one knows what this song was written about. 😢 All my love to Ireland ❤ You're pain and the lives lost is still remembered and felt. And RIP to Doloris! She was way strong and ahead of her time!
They did an amazing cover on this! When you do the original please do the official video it makes the meaning of the real life event that it's about even more impactful. The video is a tribute to Dolores and when you see the original video you'll understand it. The current situation in Ukraine exactly the type of situation that Dolores was singing about.
My 17 year old son passed away in my arms…so glad you didn’t have to go through it…love your children like there’s no tomorrow…even when you’re angry🇨🇦🖖🏻
Both the original and this cover are so powerful. The Bad Wolves' cover is also a beautiful tribute to Dolores, which will make more sense once you see the original video. I enjoyed your reaction, even though it's a heavy subject. It's good to see this message and story reaching a wider audience, almost 30 years later.
You will have to circle back and watch this video once again after you watch the original video. This was a perfect way to honor Dolores‘s passing. You will understand the visuals and the gold paint representation after watching the original Cranberries video. But, this version also stands on its own with this guy’s awesome vocals! But, wait until you hear the Delores’s absolutely iconic vocals. I cannot even imagine how good this song would have been with both of their vocals together!
As a cover of an iconic song, this is extremely good, with the video as a tribute to Delores as well, it is perfect. Kudos to Bad Wolves, and his voice is great.
Bro this dude sings Tennessee Whiskey, Crawling(Linkin Park), Take me to church, Cry me a river(J Timberlake), Heart Shaped Box (Nirvana), Wrecking Ball(Miley Cyrus) the man can sing the fuggin phone book he's insane!!!
First off, love your reactions videos! Especially the Eagles, Hotel California! Now back to where we were..... watch the original then watch this again. You'll get what's going on in this one. When I first heard/ saw this, I was really skeptical because Zombie, isn't one you can just cover. But your reaction is spot on! When that damn beat dropped....I was like, oh hell yeah! And his voice, what?! Soooo good. He has left this group, don't know where he is now. Keep up the great videos! ❤
They do this so good live as well (they opened for Three Days Grace when I saw them). Wish I had a seen the Cranberries live - love so much of their music. RIP Dolores.
This is a great cover song to react to! I got to see them perform this live at Freakers Ball 2019 in Dallas when they opened for Bush and Marilyn Manson. The crowd loved it, and we all sang it together with them. It was such a cool moment in my personal concert history.
Just found your channel and keep going. You are one of most genuine people I have found on here. Your appreciation for songs as both a musiciand and almost that chilidlike quality of finding out some of this music for ths first time is profound. Please, for heavens sake, keep going. Now watch the originall ... and then find Ghost 🙂
In my 50 short years of existence so far, I am proud to say I listen to almost all genres of music. From Bluegrass and Country to Rap and Metal and everything in between, I love it all. If any song can make you feel something, it was well done, especially if you can make out the lyrics 😂. This cover is awesome! Thanks Sebs
I love this cover so much. It feels just like the cover of"Sound of Silence" by Disturbed. The original was the warning ahead of time and the metal cover is the anger of a new generation that is realizing we didn’t heed the warning and nothing has changed. They didn’t take down the original songs, but made it their own and gave them another meaning ❤
Definitely the original with video! Backstory the Troubles in Ireland between Irish Republican Army and The British Government. A violent struggle that raged from the 1960’s -1990’s. Google Zombie by the Cranberries to get more of the history. Dolores wrote it after two boys Jonathan Ball 3 and Tim Parry 12 were killed when a bomb exploded in a trash can in Warrington England in 1993
When you decide to check out the Cranberries doing this, do yourself a favor and research the Keening Delores uses and it's tradition. Meanwhile, I was lucky enough to see Lone Wolves do this live during their tour with Five Finger Death Punch. Fantastic concert!
The gold woman is a direct reference to the original video where Dolores was also painted gold. Her version was about the 'Troubles' in Northern Ireland where Religion and Politics collided with catastrophic results. Thousands of people died because no-one was prepared to give up their opinions and beliefs.
Have to listen to the original and the original video. Dolores' voice is amazing, she sings in an old Irish style called "kneeing" which is sung at funerals. You get the full meaning
Truthfully. Listening to the original makes this cover more powerful. The song was written in response to the death of Johnathan Ball, aged 3, and Tim Parry, aged 12, both of whom had been killed in the Warrington bombings, when two IRA improvised explosive devices hidden in litter bins were detonated in Warrington, England.
Now, the original please. If you thin his vocals are beautiful, just wait till you listen to Delores RIP💔 Delores made me fall in love with this song... Bad Wolves made me want to rock out to it
first time I've heard this version. It was great. The original has a different vibe though. Her accent gives the song more feeling to me. This sounds great but I don't get a feeling there was any personal connection. In the original, you get the feeling and how the IRA impacted people.
If you do this again with your wife, you should do both this and the original and do the original first. You will get more out of it that way doing them back to back. here is the link. ruclips.net/video/6Ejga4kJUts/видео.htmlsi=KUrBuqQDv3PJUDWY
THANKS ❤
When you watch he original, you'll understand this video. It was a beautiful tribute to a beautiful singer.
they were supposed to do this with her, but she passed before she could
Definitely watch the original - it’s an absolute classic. You’ll gain new appreciation for the tributes in this video.

YES!!! I'm so happy you're checking this out ❤ Once you see the original you'll get chills realizing the references❤
Not only is this an incredible rendition, but it is a beautiful tribute to Dolores and her amazing talent.
This is in my top five covers of all time. This was amazing and an incredible dedication to Dolores’ legacy.
RIP 🖤
Yes this and disturbed sound of silence are top of the tree covers
I hope Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt is #1 ;)
Disturbed sound of silence up there too?
Yes to all of that lol In no particular order:
Zombie Bad Wolves
Hurt Johnny
Dirty Diana The Weeknd
Sound of Silence Disturbed
Creep PMJB
Remember When by Bad Wolves is a true story of the life of the lead singer. Involving him and his brother and man is it good.
It KILLS me that now a days no one knows what this song was written about. 😢 All my love to Ireland ❤ You're pain and the lives lost is still remembered and felt. And RIP to Doloris! She was way strong and ahead of her time!

Sebs, Once you hear tthe Cranberries, with her powrfil and unique voice, you will be blowen away.
Rest in peace, sweet Delores!
🙏😢❤
A great remembrance of a great artist. R.I P.
As a cover of an iconic song, this is extremely good, with the video as a tribute to Delores as well, it is perfect. Kudos to Bad Wolves, and his voice is great.
I've watched this SO MANY TIMES. Lol. They give me chills.
Long live Delores. Cranberries were a great part of my growing up. ZOMBIEEEEEEEE
Best cover ever! Such a beautiful tribute/cover.
After watching the original video from the Cranberries, rewatch Bad Wolves video. It pulls at the heartstrings even more.

Damn, subscribed after 1 video. 🎉

Tommy vext is great. He was booted from bad wolves for support of trump and being anti shutdown. He still makes music. Pure American spirit
That feeling when the beat drops. Iconic cover!
Thanks for doing this one. I love Tommy Vext’s voice, too!! He’s got some great songs out there!
I love both versions so much. They paid a beautiful tribute to Delores. She would of loved it, RIP Delores 🙏 ❤
Beautiful powerfull song, R.I.P. Dolores.. she was a legend❤❤
This is a great tribute to Dolores. But the original is an absolute icon; still not too many other music videos with over a billion views!
Great cover!

As a side note, the lead singer Tommy Vext covered for lead singer Ivan Moody for the 2017 FFDP tour when he was working on his addiction issues.
From what I understand, they depicted Delores as a nod to the original, and it also represented the separation between life and death
Definitely the original with video! Backstory the Troubles in Ireland between Irish Republican Army and The British Government. A violent struggle that raged from the 1960’s -1990’s. Google Zombie by the Cranberries to get more of the history. Dolores wrote it after two boys Jonathan Ball 3 and Tim Parry 12 were killed when a bomb exploded in a trash can in Warrington England in 1993
She approved it in 2018 when she died she came out with the song in 95
This song absolutely slaps. I love bad wolves
When you decide to check out the Cranberries doing this, do yourself a favor and research the Keening Delores uses and it's tradition. Meanwhile, I was lucky enough to see Lone Wolves do this live during their tour with Five Finger Death Punch. Fantastic concert!
Tommy Vext is a beast and an awesome dude. His Timcast IRL episode was awesome too
The gold woman is a direct reference to the original video where Dolores was also painted gold. Her version was about the 'Troubles' in Northern Ireland where Religion and Politics collided with catastrophic results. Thousands of people died because no-one was prepared to give up their opinions and beliefs.
She was gonna do the backing vocals on this the day she died
tommy vext is an amazing singer he did a song caller remember when its about tommy vext true story about his twin trying to kill him
I'm just seeing this today, it's been a month. I'm surprised you haven't reacted to the original yet... I'll check back later 😊
Just recently found this guy he is fukkin amazing!!!
That was so great, Dolores would be so proud ❤
I haven't heard this version yet it's great
It’s an amazing song 🎶 music is life ✌🏽
I like this cover
Went to Morgan Wallen in Detroit it was absolutely amazing don’t think that concert will ever be topped!
I didn't see any Cranberries on the channel yet, but doing Zombie and Linger would be awesome.
You have to rock to the original video now!
Missed ya!!!!
❤❤❤
The gold woman in the video is an homage to Dolores O’Riodan from The Cranberries’ original music video.
Have to listen to the original and the original video. Dolores' voice is amazing, she sings in an old Irish style called "kneeing" which is sung at funerals. You get the full meaning
I love Tommy he's good

Hey yes
You are going to be blown away at the vocals on the original. That’s a guarantee.
l love bad wolves and tommy's voice it reminds me of peyton parrish and jonathan young
Now, the original please. If you thin his vocals are beautiful, just wait till you listen to Delores RIP💔
Delores made me fall in love with this song... Bad Wolves made me want to rock out to it
When you take the tour on the original video, the Golden Lady will make the circle.......
Pls do series of Cranberries reactions theyre songs are masterpieces❤
WE are the zombies who did nothing.
I wish Martin had requested that you watch the original first. I love your reaction though.
You've missed the moment when on the glass was written the day when Dolores died
Incredible voice! .Most reaction! Check out an incredible cover of AC/DC thunderstruck done by 2CELLOS!!
You need to watch the cranberries they do a terrific job. They are the original.
Definitely should do disturbed sound of silence
first time I've heard this version. It was great. The original has a different vibe though. Her accent gives the song more feeling to me. This sounds great but I don't get a feeling there was any personal connection. In the original, you get the feeling and how the IRA impacted people.
See if you can hear the few changes in the lyrics.. it’s awesome
Dolores O'Riordan wrote this in response to the murder of two children in the Warrington bombings in North of England by the I.R.A.
this song stopped their fighting for 48 weeks
The girl in video Is Dolores, rase up From deth
My heart breaks every time, Seasfaidh mé leat a Bhanríon, a ghrá ón Íoslainn.
Ryan Upchurch midnight in Montgomery
First time I ever suggested a song. Please do Larry fleet. Where I find God? A country song with a Christian message
I know you don't read these but Hardy doing kill shit is awesome
The Cranberries version is more of a grunge style, their version is more emotional.
Can you please react to Payton Parrish ft Tommy Vext - Dane
Please check out the original 🙏
Dan vasc does this song lead just to make uou jealous
Tommy vext so good..he’s no longer with bad wolves tho
you need to react to the original
Im old
It's a disservice to watch this before the original.
It's annoying when people recommend covers to reactors who have no awareness of the original.
If you do this again with your wife, you should do both this and the original and do the original first. You will get more out of it that way doing them back to back. here is the link. ruclips.net/video/6Ejga4kJUts/видео.htmlsi=KUrBuqQDv3PJUDWY
Just pointless violence in the name of some cause.
Bad Wolves really f-d up parting ways with singer Tommy Vext just because his political views differ. TRUMP2024
No cover can do it justice shame on you
how the fuck do you not check out the original before listening to a cover? Come on man that's common fucking sense.
dude you not a real rock fan, you dont know delores or bad wolves, give it up
I saw them perform this in St. Louis in 2018 or 19.
Tommy Vext. Kicked out of Bad Wolves for being conservative.
