"Oh you think the human mind is safe? That's cute." Did you not even _slightly_ debrief anyone on what happened at the summer camp? Or after the Grand Head was kidnapped and rescued. He went into four dangerous minds with no backup, each suffering from their own breakdown. He helped with overcoming paranoia, manic depressive mood swings, obsessive compulsive disorder, and an identity crisis. He became competent in multiple psychic abilities over the course of twelve hours, several of which he learned directly from those sick minds. He scoured a dangerous and unstable mental asylum and rescued , what, 20 debrained children, in the process learning how to rebrain a debrained person. He directly confronted a dangerous and active phobia of water, a phobia so powerful it turned his own powers against him, his own subconscious brain trying to drown him because he had been told from birth he was doomed to die in water. At the bottom of a lake, he defeated a giant mutant psychic animal in combat, and dove into its mind, saving it from forced mental conditioning. Nevermind all the psychic bears and mountain lions he had to deal with on camp grounds. In between _ALL OF THIS_ he scrubbed the camp grounds clean of every psy challenge marker, psy core, psy card, several thousand psitanium arrowheads, an entire scavenger hunt, collected every mental cobwebs and figments across ten minds, and completed Coach Oleander's expert level combat course, earning him a _more than perfect_ camp rank of 101. Again, over the course of like 12, maybe 18 hours. And this was all just the first day of his _summer camp vacation,_ not even employed by the psychonauts! Using an absolutely masterful display of clairvoyance jumping, he navigated a treacherous ocean crater (again confronting that powerful phobia of water), and defeated an entire underwater base full of fishmen while having the world's most intense out of body experience, all while being completely unaffected by an entire meteor's worth of psilerium, an incredibly dangerous ore that emits psychic poison into sensetive minds. He, and he _alone_ saved the three senior agents and one child who had gone to rescue the grand head of the psychonauts. Which he _also saved,_ by diving into _yet another sick mind_ and helping him overcome his past traumas. And you are going to _dare_ to stand there and _condescend to him,_ mocking him about the human mind _not being safe?_ If _any_ of the interns in that program had 1/100th of the experience Razputin Aquato had, you would be fast tracking them to top agent no questions asked! God fucking damnit but do I hate it when smartass adults who are supposed to be in a mentoring position refuse to take the young people in front of them seriously. Raz as a student is attentive, eager, enthused, and gifted, and _surely_ someone would have mentioned what happened to him. Which means she thinks his accolades are exagerated and unearned. And I _hate_ that.
I think the whole point is that they didn't get a debrief because of the situation with Truman and the mole kinda taking everyone's attention. Raz had only been a psychonaut for 2 DAYS before this, and the literal head of the psychonauts went missing, with the greatest enemy of the psychonauts was possibly found responsible before they had even arrived. I don’t really blame anyone for thinking ford made a stupid decision and let a kid in without really thinking it through. I also don’t think anyone really had the time to ask Sasha and Mia what happened, and it’s obvious that Oleander probably would just not mention it. It seems the only person who was told about what happened at Camp was Otto, and that makes sense because he was helping Sasha with the Interrogation on Laboto. I don’t think it’s silly or stupid at all, I think it makes perfect sense that nobody really had the time to reflect of raz’s accomplishments, or that raz was made a Junior Psychonaut instead of a full one, given that the he’s probably already skipped years of training to be on the level of the interns, who are all already much older. He also, you know, caused the lesser head of the Psychonauts to become a gambling addict potentially putting Sasha and Mia’s lives at risk. So there’s that.
My favorite thing in this game is when Raz sets up his family tent as part of a sidequest involving his brother and when he goes inside, he says, "I'm just glad it's not made of meat!"
I am rather disappointed they never really made use of the mental connections in others' minds, like, they let you get place to place with it, but no idea connecting
@@DisKorruptd Well everyone drills into Raz for doing that. It's an abuse of their power, and pretty much the worst thing a psychonaut can do, even when good intentioned.

I think my issue is the interns just kinda being thrown in without a lot of reason for it, I liked the characterization of the campers more since they were made to be distractions for the player to interact occasionally. In this game they play a slightly more important role and are more grounded which makes them a little more uninteresting since the plot just throws them in when they really dont do much up to that point.
