This was a very cool encounter today. I didn’t understand why it wouldn’t walk deeper into the forest until it laid down. Then it immediately hit me that it wanted to cross the road. Once I backed up and turned the camera off, it appeared on the road again. It was skittish like it should have been but not over frightened. They grow up seeing vehicles and people just enough to not be scared to death of us but still don’t want to interact with us.
Yes a bear encounter makes you talk like you’re speaking to a baby lol
