God the scene with Makima in the library disturbs me like no other. As a victim of sexual abuse when I was a kid made this scene hit me especially hard. It dug up feelings and emotions that I did not know I had. A lot of people don't seem to notice what is happening in this show and apparently the same thing happened to the manga readers as well. We all get swept up in the hype and horniness and we don't stop to think about what Makima's actions are and that the show does not portray her actions as acceptable at all. And do not get me wrong, I still am absolutely addicted to this show. It is exciting, brutal, hilarious, depressing, gory, and deep. We've only seen 7 episodes of the entire series and I am pretty sure this is now my favorite anime. I can't wait to see where this story goes...
I said last episode that Denji was inexperienced going for the overhand grab instead of the cup and caress but now Makima's schooling him in how to do it...man's learning so fast

My favorite thing about Denji and Power is how they are basically siblings. They are like two young children who bicker over everything and yet they just don’t have any malicious feelings towards one another. And it’s clear that Denji isn’t attracted to her and that he obviously has no more than platonic feelings for her. That’s part of why he was so unsatisfied with touching her breasts. Most of it was just him more enjoying the chase than the actual action of reaching his goal, but I think he also didn’t really enjoy it so much because he just didn’t like her that way. Also I honestly think it’s an important part of his character development for him to have this conflict because he doesn’t understand most things, especially things regarding relationships, so now he’s starting to experience the difference between platonic feelings and romantic/sexual feelings. I’m an up to date manga reader for this series so I don’t want to spoil anything but he does start learning more about this aspect of relationships in the future.
