Hey ladies I hope that everything is coming along well with you but my Sunday mornings are not the same without you.. you were a breath of fresh air all this time... Pls let us know that you both are ok..
It’s their responsibility to move their fishing gear. I am a fisherman and some of the people that participate in this activity are rude and arrogant. I always try and think of everyone that shares the same facility, or resource. But this is possibly the same in most pastimes. My guess is that they run away because they weren’t supposed to be there. Keep smiling.
Hi We really miss you guys - weve seen loads of the Lazy Dayz vlogs right up to this last one, but weve gone back to the Ewart vlogs. We just hope you are safe, happy and well. Steve n Joan.
If your in a tier 4 area. As the fishermen where, they shouldn't be out fishing anyway. Its non essential activity. Shame they weren't there on the way back to show and Shame them. Well done for staying calm.
Good to see you back... An Incomparable Pair. Shall I compare you both to a summer's day, no, you're brighter and warmer than that. Shall I compare you both to a rainy day then, no, you're more refreshing than that. Shall I compare you both to the stars above, no, you're more mysterious than that. Shall I compare you both to the moon then, no, you're glow lasts longer than that. Shall I compare you both to time itself, no, you're love and beauty will last longer than that.
Ladies i miss you please come back. Don’t let the weather stop the show. Here in the USA Michigan we had 10 inches of snow. Lets have a fireside chat and a round of tea!
With the rain and ice stimulating your senses and the warmth of the hot tea with someone you love ..... it sounds wonderful to me. Keep on ladies and celebrate what life brings you.
Have npt heard or seen anything from you for eight months. Are you still actively living on your narrowboat and cruising? Hope you are both well and happy. Please let us know, a lot of people are concerned for you. Tom
You folks are a pleasant distraction during the current lockdown. I spend my winters on my boat frozen in ice at the marina using a bubbler to keep the ice at bay. I have watched a lot of your videos with interest and see we do many of the same things and its not alwats a bed of roses as you often remind us. Right now I have to thaw the water in my holding tank as the outside temp is only -17C the ice in my mooring is 2" thick. If I get abuse from the fishermen I encounter I can always open up with the hose LOL. They don't like being hosed with Ice water. I wish I could cruise the canals like you ladies. My cat Bella would love it!! I will visit your sites as well as I am an avid collector of nature art. Cheers Mike
There are a lot of grumpy people everywhere. It's good to see people like you who can still lift your head and smile when things get rough. Thank you for sharing your adventures wherever they take you.
Where have you gone? We miss you! I hope you are both doing well. Please either return to RUclips or at least let all your fans know what's going on so we don't worry about you
I've seen nothing from you for so long (pre-christmas!) that I had to do a search for you, and found this one - which I had no notification of - and nothing since. I hope all four of you are well.
Ah! my lovelies...is there any such thing as a grown man....at heart they are all little boys....still keeping bits of string and useless things in their pockets. Great vlog. Living on your lovely boat is just like us in our cute rancher. Trees to trim, gutters to clean, leaks to fix..and on and on. Life is a journey, everyday an adventure. Live it, enjoy it...you both so obviously do and you share it with us...so thank you for that. Love and hugs as always.
Hello Ladies, it is so great to see you again! Whilst I appreciate that, for you, fetching water is normally mundane (aside from angry fishermen) your vlogs are a total breath of fresh air for myself and I'm sure many of your followers. Please never diminish how wonderful you are. Thank you. Be well and be safe xx
Please show that solar is not completely useless in Winter as the nay-sayers claim. I know it is not great but they say it provides no power at all. Remind those fishermen that there would be no canal if it were not for the boats and ask the gatekeeper if anything can be done.
Not sure about locked down those anglers should be locked up for bringing my sport into disrepute . The majority of anglers do not behave in such a way . An angler for 60+ years Rant over nice to see you ladies back on the water and back online .Take care George
Have been on the canals four times, but only lived on them for six weeks. However, I have been following narrowboaters' vlogs for years, and I just have to say that you are two of the very nicest people I've come across. I wish you well for the coming years. I'll still be following you. Well done with the horrible fishermen. Thank you for a vlog that has such a nice warm feeling about it.
Winter can be hard wherever you live. You take the good with the not so terrific and decide what works for one's own self. Stay well. Pleasure as always to watch your vids - thanks for them.
I agree with Anna...What a day! You set out to show us that it’s not all peaches and cream, and it sure wasn’t. Good vlog though, I enjoyed it for my nice warm living room in Oregon.
G'day Annamarie and Kath. Those fishermen throw a rock at you. I tell you what, if I was on my Narrowboat behind you and saw that. Those poms would hear language to make their ears melt. In a very Aussie accent. I am so glad you do tell Narrowboat life has it is. The UK winters. The amazingly hot summers the UK gets in modern times. The beautiful landscape on both sides of the canals. It only makes me more determined to sell up and move to the UK. I just hope big time, Covid will be beaten in the UK.
Love the tall pine trees that dot the edge of the canal - they bring me immediately back to "the pond" where I spent most childhood summers. Even the dreary sky can't change the happiness that memory invokes.
Wow, I thought living on a sailboat seeing the world at 6 knots was a good slow pace! Narrowboat living looks fantastic. I hope you two can keep on keepin on with your chosen life style. Thank you for sharing.
It is great to see your lovely faces again. Hope your holidays were restful. Your Christmas cards arrived and I used some of them to give my nephews and niece their gifts. One nephew and niece are artists. I hope your ears were burning Annamarie! They were so impressed with your skill; I learned that watercolor is a most difficult medium. Much talk and going to your website. So thank you so much. I will be purchasing more cards when they arrive in your store. Take care...
The last year or so has been a life stereos for all concerned and add to that the stress of movie to a new boat plus Annamaries shoulder surgery and Kath back injuries while you were trying to pack up to move. Then toss in Munchie getting hurt, it might seem overwhelming. I’m stressed just repeating it. I hope all four of you are happy and well. I hope you come back you vlogs are fun.
I'd like to wish you both ALL the best. My worry is that as you haven't replied to anyone missing you, I fear the worst and maybe things have gone belly up in some way. I hope I'm wrong but just to say we are all thinking of you. Again, ALL the best. :-)
Hello Lady’s. So nice to see you again. My husband was just saying how he missed our weekly visits with you. We both looked forward to Sunday nights to watch your weekly updates. So enjoyable. Oh was my husband mad about those fisherman throwing things at you. He is a keen fisherman and was outraged. He is also a boater so her understands that that these idiots were wrong and he wished you called the police on them. Also those paddle borders. We have the same problem with people who sale out in the open waters. They don’t know the rules and don’t understand that boats can’t stop on a dime. They would tack right in front of us. Anyway wishing you all the best. It must be so hard to be in such a lockdown on a boat in the winter. Annemarie sometimes I wish I could hit you. So stay strong. Stay upbeat and I know that isn’t easy. We love you both!
Good morning. Lovely to see you both out and about again, albeit in the cold. Those ‘so called fishermen’ should be ashamed about their disgusting behaviour. 🤬 Stay warm, stay safe, stay well. 😀
Thank you Mega-Stars for my lovely G&S fix. I never minded the Winter, it was always so cosy inside. I have never found fishermen as badly behaved of those fellas. You did get me pining for the canals. Knowing that Mrs Mouse is in her marina with her lovely new owner who loves her as much as I did only slightly helps.
Happy New Year ladies! We were never live a board boaters but we did boat all year round. Yes there were days when it was freezing cold, wet and miserable and the only way to warm up was a hot shower. So pleased you have mentioned the down side of winter cruising it should be considered but we still enjoyed our narrow boating days. Stay safe.
Hi, binge watching your videos whilst lockdown keeps us away from our boat Rhiannon. We have really enjoyed them and your experiences. We lived aboard in the 1990s with three cats as CCs having given up sensible jobs. We have never regretted it and are now part time fair weather liveaboards with two siamese cats. Watching you has helped keep us sane! ps we are wearing our smart new Narrowboat experience t shirts!
Greetings from Australia where it is currently 37°. I never thought I'd watch canal boats but stumbled upon your channel 6 months ago and found it a great way to relax.
I feel that I need to apologise for the behaviour of those individuals who share my sport of angling. They should be ashamed of themselves. I love fishing canals and I realise that we all share the water, whatever we do on it. When a boat passes me I always make sure my rod and line are well out of the way and I give a cheery hello. It's always reciprocated by the boat owner. In fact I often get a bite after a narrowboat goes through. The stirring up of the water seems to get the fish feeding. I love your videos by the way. :)
So nice to see you both on our screens again. Here's hoping 2021 is good for you both. I have been led to believe your friend " Jono" has left the "cut" and has gone to work for Victron good luck to him, fond fond memories of his vlogs he's going to be sorely missed. Winter living on a narrow boat is TOUGH I have done it and know what's it all about. Continuous cruiser live aboards have to make winter plans to get through the season ahead. Some of your vlogger colleagues have taken winter moorings in marinas whilst others like yourselves have remained out on the network, personal choices to decide which option to take. Adapting to this lifestyle is not a walk in the park since your essentials are not always to hand and there are pressures to deal with. I would given the choice again come back on a narrow boat to live despite all the challenging aspects. I remember your decision to change to a diesel heating system from coal it is something I would do given the choice now having lived with a coal fire on board. Its a hard life on board but the rewards I think more than make up for the difficulties you have to deal with. Added greatly to your lifestyle challenges are the constraints placed on you by the boat design and limitations. Keep safe dry and virus free both of you x
Good to have u back....got a lot if friends that have channels and you get these negative people on EVERY channel u have to ignore them .... love to see a solar vlog 👍❤
I watched this vlog a while back but forgot to “like” it. I also have heard that we need to let the adds run because that is helpful to you vlogers. So as impatient as I am about them, I am letting them run. It is only fair, to enjoy your work about your life, to help you back anyway we can. Really like hearing/seeing the imperfect attributes to living on a narrowboat.
Your on my local canal and years ago where you did the turn was the old oil depot and the tankers turned in that winding hole. The tankers were amazing to watch as they were a tight squeeze with hardly inches of clearance going through the bridge there and further down as they went back to Sharpness Docks. Sorry some of the locals were unfriendly and upset you, shame on them. Good to see the canal as I'm barred from going as its lockdown and not within 5 miles. Take care and keep warm.
I wonder if the fishermen were overwhelmed with guilt when they realised that you were trying to help out the first chap. They probably had to shame-facedly pack up their stuff and get gone before you returned!
I miss the vlogs also- have been following for awhile. I must say I find it terribly rude that the girls “ disappeared “ without even a word to those of us who have been watching them faithfully. I hope all is well, and god bless.
Great to see you again. You have been missed. Any vlogs about how you get through day to day would be welcome. It helps those of us stuck on dry land to break free mentally. Stay safe.
No discussion. The canals are made for navigation. All other activities must have second priority. You are on the right side! 👍 Thank you for another vlog. Love from Denmark ❤
Yes, please more on the solar would be interesting. Also ts the diesel heating working out well or have you found unexpected snags like getting fuel or it's not working quite like you expected in winter conditions. Brighter days ahead.
Lovely to see you ladies back on a cold grey winters day, also pleased to see Alice and Munchie as I was getting concerned as to how they were taking winter on the Narrowboat. Our girl Mindy just pops out briefly then sleeps in front of the Halogen heater in my 'Man Cave' Keep safe.
I also live in an RV (caravan to y'all), and I'm always, like you, aware of not telling him that living in one is all sunshine and roses. It's cold inside in the winter, hot in the summer, limited on storage space, and like your boat, you'll run out of gas (and may not be able to get more easily), if you want to be "off grid" you have to have both solar AND a generator to do so depending on the size of the vehicle. You have to have insurance, and you'll need to eventually get new tires (a hassle all unto itself), etc., etc. So, good words for those considering it.
Throwing things is not on so please don't call them gentlemen, they might be fishermen and they can fish anywhere but you have no choice where you can go only along the canal.
Hope blue skies and sunshine are coming soon out again for you. Don’t let any bad episode like with those anglers, rule you too much. Just have a good cuppa and enjoy the life you spend.
I have no idea what gets into some people those Guys should be ashamed of their selves, their Wives or girlfriends would be so angry if they knew ? Nice Vblog girls , Isn't the Canal for everyone ???? Have a great New Year Girls
I’m so happy to see your cheerful faces again! Please don’t let others steal your joy. Yes, I’m very interested in anything you’re willing to share about solar. Bless you both.
I really appreciate that honesty. I get wanting to be positive and fully support it. I remember getting honest information about motorcycle travel and camping that helped me a lot to be prepared - it's something I love but it isn't always easy. Also: Annamarie I love your hair color! it stood out to me in part because that's one of the colors I do (I tend toward multi-color hair.) It's so very good to see y'all again and glad that you are doing okay. I definitely feel that confined thing - I am now living in a house but I barely leave it and have rarely since early last year.
If it had been me having items thrown at me by fishermen on the bank I would have got my camera and photographed them and shamed them in the local newspaper. It's a criminal offence to throw objects at passing boats . Like it is to throw stones at passing cars . Stay safe and crack on .
Usually when channels no longer provide content, I unsubcribe. However with these ladies I enjoy their channel so much, it keeps me pining for more. Hopefully they will be back....
Yay! You're back. You know what they say about fisherman? A Sprat at one end of the pole and a PRATT at the other. You need a " supersoaker" to return fire. Lol
Canals were built for canal boats not for people to indulge in pleasure fishing, you guys were not in the wrong ! Keep warm and stay safe Spring isn’t far away, Love you channel by the way.
The wife and I are so glad that you shared your Vlog a moment in time. We’re been waiting for your Vlog yes look forward to it every week, so this is treat for us we’ve been locked down for two months so you can see why we’ve been waiting for your Vlog thank you guys. STAY SAFE
It’s good to see you girls cruising again. While encounters like with the fisherpeople can be very frustrating, try to put in the past, and forget about it. Experiences like that shorten our lives. Happy New Year!
My partner and myself are getting concerned that we have not seen any vlogs from you and we do so hope that you both are keeping well ?
Hey ladies I hope that everything is coming along well with you but my Sunday mornings are not the same without you.. you were a breath of fresh air all this time... Pls let us know that you both are ok..
Every day we look on YT for “the girls”. Hope you’ll both be back soon with your kitties! 🥰
Thinking of you both today for some reason. Missing your narrowboat adventures and hoping you are both well and happy xxx
Hi We really miss you guys - weve seen loads of the Lazy Dayz vlogs right up to this last one, but weve gone back to the Ewart vlogs. We just hope you are safe, happy and well. Steve n Joan.

I thought the same, but appears that it's allowed.
So sweet x
Ladies i miss you please come back. Don’t let the weather stop the show. Here in the USA Michigan we had 10 inches of snow. Lets have a fireside chat and a round of tea!
I think it speaks volumes for the fishermen that they weren’t there when you returned. They knew they had done wrong
Missing you gals, and hoping that your plans and dreams are all coming together. Love to Alice and Munchy.

They are both fine and upload videos to artbyannamarie
You folks are a pleasant distraction during the current lockdown. I spend my winters on my boat frozen in ice at the marina using a bubbler to keep the ice at bay. Hi folks, how are you both?
Hope you’re staying safe and all is good with you.
Garry & Pam x
All these things are sent to try us!!
Lovely to see you back, and so joyous, have missed your smiley faces and words of wisdom.
Take care.
Loved it ! Has everything ! Annamarie angry, and giggling. Kath being Kath. Everything I needed right now. Thank You wonderful people ❤️
There are a lot of grumpy people everywhere. It's good to see people like you who can still lift your head and smile when things get rough. Thank you for sharing your adventures wherever they take you.
Where have you gone? We miss you! I hope you are both doing well. Please either return to RUclips or at least let all your fans know what's going on so we don't worry about you
Not had internet for 2 months, nice to see you again. You are right, the idiots fishing (essential activity not) are not. Stay safe ladies!
Hi girls hope everything is all right as I’m missing you vlog each week come back soon as we all miss you both from Australia 🇦🇺
Please come back! You were my favorite narrowboat vloggers. I miss you so.
As a follower of two years, I would like to say this is still my favorite vlog.
Hi
You are lucky it is only a few drops of rain - here there is a blinding snow storm. The Canal is very beautiful -enjoy it
Hello Ladies, it is so great to see you again! Whilst I appreciate that, for you, fetching water is normally mundane (aside from angry fishermen) your vlogs are a total breath of fresh air for myself and I'm sure many of your followers. Please never diminish how wonderful you are. Thank you. Be well and be safe xx

We’ve had some really good solar days.... and many where you don’t really get anything. Winter is definitely a mixed bag!
Not sure about locked down those anglers should be locked up for bringing my sport into disrepute . The majority of anglers do not behave in such a way . An angler for 60+ years

TG you're back I was getting withdrawals... lol
You ladies are can do it people, adventurous and are to be admired for your life of living the good life!
I am quite sure that man had a VERY “tiny little pole”! 😂
I agree with Anna...What a day! You set out to show us that it’s not all peaches and cream, and it sure wasn’t. Good vlog though, I enjoyed it for my nice warm living room in Oregon.
So glad to see you guys are doing ok :) Take care, Stay safe.

would like to see a vlog on your winter solar experience so far. Some people are never so happy as when they are finding fault in others lol
Yay! You guys are back!
I can’t believe those idiots had the nerve to throw stuff at your home! Stay safe ladies, and welcome back!!!!
I'd like to wish you both ALL the best. My worry is that as you haven't replied to anyone missing you, I fear the worst and maybe things have gone belly up in some way. I hope I'm wrong but just to say we are all thinking of you. Again, ALL the best. :-)

Good morning. Lovely to see you both out and about again, albeit in the cold. Those ‘so called fishermen’ should be ashamed about their disgusting behaviour. 🤬 Stay warm, stay safe, stay well. 😀
Wonder what the reason to be out fishing would be in T4 lockdown, essential food gathering?
Thank you Mega-Stars for my lovely G&S fix. I never minded the Winter, it was always so cosy inside. I have never found fishermen as badly behaved of those fellas. Great to see you again. You have been missed. Any vlogs about how you get through day to day would be welcome. It helps those of us stuck on dry land to break free mentally. Stay safe.
Morning ladies a cold wet day in the shire.Dont be put off by a few angler's we are a friendly bunch in the the shire. Stay safe and warm.😁😁👍👍

Hi girls hope you have a great 2021. Enjoyed the vlog. Stay warm, well and safe.
Lovely to see you and the cats again made my day look after each other and stay safe x
I'm worried end of summer and no vlogs for 7 months. Hope you guys are ok, I miss the videos.
I’m so happy to see your cheerful faces again! Please don’t let others steal your joy. Yes, I’m very interested in anything you’re willing to share about solar. Bless you both.
The Canals were built primarily for boats, so Fisher people must take second place.
Thank you for sharing your adventures. It was good to see you two lovely ladies laughing and smiling.
I hope you enjoyed Gloucestershire I live in Gloucestershire it lovey part of country And hope the cats enjoyed too x
We do love it.
I love watching y'all taking us on a tour of the water ways. Love it. Blessed be.
I’ve never thrown anything at anyone while fishing. At 68 years old, I guess there’s still time to get it done.
Good to hear from you. I'm stuck in hospital, luckily not Covid-19, and your vlogs always brighten my day. Even if it is a water run on an icy day.
I wonder if those "gentlemen" would have done the same if two burly men had been on board? I suspect not.
I really appreciate that honesty. I get wanting to be positive and fully support it. I remember getting honest information about motorcycle travel and camping that helped me a lot to be prepared - it's something I love but it isn't always easy. Also: Annamarie I love your hair color! it stood out to me in part because that's one of the colors I do (I tend toward multi-color hair.)
It's so very good to see y'all again and glad that you are doing okay.
We miss you ladies!
Missing you'll, hoping everything is okay❤️.
Usually when channels no longer provide content, I unsubcribe.
However with these ladies I enjoy their channel so much, it keeps me pining for more.
Hopefully they will be back....
I'd be curious about how the new panels are performing compared to the older one.
You two are so great to watch. Big hugs to all four of you. Stay safe. Xxxx
With some "gentlemen", the "tiny pole" is the source of many problems.
Nice to go get water with you guys, and remember if every day was sunny, sunny days wouldn't be special.
The canals were built for boats. Fishing is a by-product.
The wife and I are so glad that you shared your Vlog a moment in time. We’re been waiting for your Vlog yes look forward to it every week, so this is treat for us we’ve been locked down for two months so you can see why we’ve been waiting for your Vlog thank you guys. STAY SAFE
I don't like fishermen either. They are often rude and hostile.
It’s good to see you girls cruising again. While encounters like with the fisherpeople can be very frustrating, try to put in the past, and forget about it. Experiences like that shorten our lives. Happy New Year!
