I had one 15 years ago that my bandmate destroyed but we weren't able to repair it back to normal. It was my first ever delay pedal. Now I'm feeling nostalgic about it, I would have made it my main delay pedal even up to this day. I'm using a Timefactor btw now.
Hi! I've not finished to see the video, but you did what literally seems to mean "Tuner out", i kinda feel that does is not intended for that. One of the thing that makes me to think that, is the racks Boss RSD-10 and Boss RPS-10, there are videos using the "Keyboard control" input for weird noises, but they have a "tuner out" jack too, and is somewhat suspicious. Other pedals that have a misunderstood jack uses are the Boss DSD-3/2. So tap tempo or expression pedal inputs can be used for CV requiring gadgets, like Korg SQ-1 to manipulate sound in not so common ways.
I'm thinking the "Tuner out" means that the Boss PS-2 functions as a tuner for another instrument, i don't know what instrument, may be a synth... but for triggering, maybe it's serves for midi instructions for pitch notes. I don't know if the "tuner out" is really a sound output or just a tracker. So, seems to be mambo jambo scifi, but somebody has to try to see what happens or do a video.
@@shoseinen it's an oscillator out as the PS-2 has an inbuilt oscillator. There was a good video where this output were used for crazy effects, just look for Pepe Music ;)
Read the manual folks. Tuner out is meant so you can read the semitones in pitch shifting modes. Remember this pedal was made before tuner pedals were commonplace on boards; so a tuner like he is using was the norm. The tuner out can also be used for normal tuning like the tuner out of a volume pedal when the pedal is off but still in pitch shifting modes. As a result people have figured out you can get some shoegaze droning oscillations from it too with routing.
