That's why I never took liking to this story honestly. Twisted Metal: Black took the story of Mr. Grimm and made it real, it made it something that is genuinely a terrifying path to follow.
Sooo because his father died in a tragic accident, he decided to start killing and stealing? Why the hell didn't he just say "I wish my father had never died?" I knew as soon as he told us his wish what would happen...
On the other hand, if he said it like that it's Also pretty sure Calypso would've found a way to twist it too, as he does. I mean, I've seen quite specific wishes AND STILL the a$$hole finds a way to turn it around
i haven't played these games so i don't understand why make Mr. Grimm completely different instead of just making a new character. they literally made a new character, just go one step further and give him a new name, maybe even a different universe

Could’ve been time constraints or budget cuts. Full motion video is a lot more taxing than traditional graphics or stylized cutscenes for a game.
