TIP: With the "base" brush, you can slide the sleeve up for a denser brush effect. I found this trick useful with my Eco Tools travel kabuki brush. Multi-use brushes are awesome! 👍
Shout out to Emilly's comment section! Thank you, Emily, for creating a place to enjoy all the beauty human nature has to offer! I love coming here for videos, but just as much I love coming here for the people in the comments. I feel happy reading the love and sharing and even constructive criticism that is here. Emily's YT family seems just as lovely and welcoming as her intimate family!
I’d love to see the big $50 set that is online only at ulta and on the eco tools site as well. I’m interested in the quality, functionality, and if it’s worth that chunk of change.
You know what I see in this? A stranded-kit. You unexpectedly spent the night somewhare thats not your home base, you got this and the random makeup im your car and purse. I could work with this
The thing that I like about your videos is it’s so unique.. no one talks about ecotools these days.. your ideas and vision about certain products is so unique.. you talk about things that other people don’t even bother to spent time on..
Thank you for making this video! I have been seeing TONS of eco tools sets in stores and was really curious about them. Could you do another uneditted video? I loved watching the full process and seeing how long it really takes to work with a certain product or make a certain look.
I have a few brushes from Bare Minerals with the guards that I have enjoyed for years. Great for in my purse. You can load a brush with blush or powder before capping and you're ready for touch ups when you're out and about..
Even beyond touch ups, if it had a fluffy brush then this could be used as a complete set of brushes for travel. That’s all it’s missing to be a full (although minimalistic) set of brushes.
So close. If it was a crease or pencil brush instead of the spoolie, and perhaps a tiny bit bigger packing/shader brush on the "concealer" end, I would snap this up.
I have a couple of "contained brushes" from Laura Geller - and LOVE them, esp for traveling...neither of them are small enough for eyemakeup...but I do like them...never thought to use them for touch ups...great idea!
Love this! Would use this for college tours or if you have a family member in the hospital you would definitely use something like this. Weird for some but I had a family member in a long hospital stay out of town and I would have loved something like this.
Emily I ordered the Ecotools 360 brushes about a month ago after watching your reviews and I LOVE them! They are very reasonably priced and good quality which is essential since no one is made of money. I like Ecotools for this. Thanks for the honest breakdown of this product.
I've needed a spooly that never loses its cap in my bag. They get fuzzy and messy. My brows need retouching mid-afternoon. The concealer end will be for my lid and brow highlight and the angled end will refresh my brows and liner. The face brushes look perfect as well.
I had an Ecco Tools travel kabuki brush that was really nice. It came in a little aluminum canister with a cap. I used it for powder for years. I'm pretty sure Ecco was my first set of eyeshadow brushes way back in the day. They all had shorter, wooden handles & they were great for travel & throwing in your mu bag for touch ups which I always needed after about 4-5 hours. I also like shorter handles since I'm pretty visually challenged for close up work & must sit with my nose practically touching my mirror. I constantly bang long handled brushes on the mirror & startle myself lol. I liked the Ecco face brushes better than their eye brushes but haven't tried any in the last 10 years. Would be curious about the sets being sold at Ulta as gifts.
Hey i was looking at ulta's website for new stuff and saw Maybelline has a new mascara that's supposed to be different and easy to remove called the snapscara, can you pick it up next time you do an order?
Maybe ecotools will come out with an expansion set to compliment this set.. sort of like additional attachments for the existing handles? Ecotools have always been one of my favorite go to brushes! It's exciting to see that they came out with a more hygienic travel friendly set
Great video, Emily! I would love to see a video about your current favorite drugstore brushes (eyes and face) or maybe review a variety of brush sets to see which ones are best? I know a lot of brands are coming out with brush sets for the holidays, too!
Walt, when did Emily hit 1M?!!! Can't think of anyone more deserving. Congratulations Emily, and thank you for not hiding your lamp under a bushel and letting it positively shine across YT.
you know what I would use that last little eye brush for is to clean around my lip line and perfect things when using a dark lip, could have used that today actually LOL! Love this set i think it would be nice purse item to have. Thanks Emily!
My problem w one-brush touch-ups is using the same brush for diff colors. I'd need a Colorswitch/similar thing or use paper towels so I don't mix the colors together. My skin and makeup routine don't play well with touchups anyway, I end up looking cakey no matter what. Thanks for the video though, you always have original and fresh ideas that are fun (and great time management on your part doing this before the rest of your day!)
I think it's a great idea, especially for on the go! I always carry concealer, powder and a brow pencil for touch ups, but my blush does seem to disappear later in the day so I like it the way it is. The concealer brush could be a bit bigger. I might get this! 👍😁
A long time ago I purchased a Laura Geller brush brush that is retractable, and love it. Looking forward to seeing more of their brush sets. Blessings and love...MaryEllen
Idk, the first idea I had when I saw that spoolie/angled brush switch up was that it was for eyebrows? All of that brush seems to be more designed for brows: brush through, fill in, fix some edges with concealer. They could come out with a 3rd brush...something like a fluffy crease brush, something denser to pack color on and a small tapered brush for details...actually could make it 4 as both sides could be switchable.
Mint that’s what I was thinking to with so many cute lip palettes I hate having to carry a lip brush. I do have a retractable one but it has such a finite purpose to take up space in my purse. What would’ve put this set over the top was if it included a tiny color swap pad but tissue will do.
Could you please do a video about a battle of beauty sponges? I feel like I haven’t found one that I like better than the original Beautyblender, but I’ve been seeing so many sponges come out with drugstore/more affordable brands. It would be nice to save some $$$ on my sponges!
those brushes are so cute!!! when you pulled out the blush brush side i literally squealed! i do agree though, a fluffier brush tip would've been more useful. i don't think i ever need a spoolie for touch-ups
The little spoolie would be great for people with lash extensions. in the morning I brush them into place with a spoolie but it would be nice to have one to go if I have an unruly lash!
I LOVE this idea. Eco tools is such a good brand and to add an all in one travel set is awesome. I am loving the 360 set you showed and their eye brushes are the only smaller eye brushes you can find in the drugstore. This would be a great little gift for the holidays for teachers, busy moms on the move, teens, etc.
Loved this set & how you used it. Dh & I enjoy travel and I love having a great travel set that’s not bulky or heavy. I use eyeshadow powder for my brows and that angle brush & spoolie are what’s missing from my Real Techniques eyeshadow brush kit. I’m loving the blush brush from ELF that Beauddiction recommended recently & I might add that plus RT”s medium shadow, essential crease & shading brushes for my full eye makeup and it’s just perfect for my travel kit. Thanks Emily once again!!!
Emily the only constructive criticism I have on your collab with Revolution. I love both The Needs and The Wants. I use them both frequently, so therefore the problem, I wish The Needs pans were refillable. I am hitting pan on that setting powder and I really haven’t used to do anything but set the under eyes. If singles were available to refill that pallete with a bigger shade selection and we could customize that pallete ! Oh, I love it now but that would be a dream come true.
I'd love to see an update to your favorite brushes. I think this set is a great idea esp for travel. I love that they took the time to include a brush guard. I didn't even know they had these. Thank you for the info. ❤
There isn't necessarily a hard and fast rule that brushes have to be used for the thing that it says it's for. If a brush works for something other than it's marked for, then go for it. I have fairly hooded eye lids and a smaller brush works better for me with putting on eye shadow as it gives me a bit more control over where the shadow goes.
Emily , I just got your palette today !!!! I am so happy for you !!!!!! I’ve been watching you for a long time & was excited when I found out ...... I had to use my daughters account because I can’t remember my login info on mine.... if you are ever in the Wheaton/Naperville Illinois area I would love to meet you ..... congrats.🎈..
Just got my Needs make up. I love every shade! Our Ulta was out of the wants! Your palettes must still be selling strong! This is in Minnesota. Love watching all your videos!
Love this eye look, can we get a quick tutorial? It looks super simple but I can’t distinguish all the colors. This all in one brush looks so awesome especially for traveling!!! Thx for reviewing 👍🏻❤️
I was hoping this would be a great gym set for me to go with my needs palette, but I need some kind of fluffy eye brush. I'm kind of hoping you come across a great travel set amongst all the holiday things! BTW, the needs palette is perfect for my little bag of post-gym makeup!
I have been subscribed for years and I just gotta say thank you for the amazing content that you put out there. I was wondering if you have ever tried wander beauty? As a newer brand, I have noticed that it has gained some popularity within the last few months. I would love to see a review of their products! xoxo
If you use more of the ecotools brushes Id love to see a "best of" video! I live in sweden so cant find many brushes that are talked about but I can get ecotools but never tried them.
Hi Emily. I love this concept. I also can't wait for tue Emily awards! The award format last year, i thought was brilliant! And I'm hoping it would the same format this year.
I was thinking the brush labled for concealer would be perfect as a lip brush or even a cleanup brush for lipstick if you go tend to go outside the lines or smudge throughout the day.
Did you decide if you will be reviewing any makeup advent calendars? I really want to get one for myself this year! If you will be doing a review, I’ll wait to see it before I buy one!!!
Wow. I guess I should bring touch up brushes to work. Never thought much about makeup touch ups. Lol. On another note, I wanted to say thank you for naming the items in your needs palette the way you did. Just the other day, I was having a bad day, everything was going bad and when I put on my make up, I based it on the names in the palette. I needed some hope and faith and that was what I put on my eyes. It really inspired me and made me feel better. Much thanks!!! And this was the palette that I did not think I needed. So funny.
Love eco tools brushes, I've only recently started using them! Easily accessible in drugstores in the UK. I had a small set from my parents along with some other make up for finishing my Masters degree! Would love a full face review using only eco tools to see if I should invest in more!
I've not seen these brushes in store yet. I think I have a brush similar to the biggest one you showed that came with some stuff I got from Laura Geller. Aren't these type brushes the kind where you would have product on them when you close them off for when you'd need to touch up during the day? Instead of packing product & brush....you'd already have product on the brush. I don't get the spooly though.
Wow I’m super early to this video. I was so jealous of that gigantic ecotools package from your vlog! I love brushes! I do agree with you that some sort of a crease brush would have made the eye brush part of this set more functional.
Hi Emily I enjoyed this video and I'd like to see some of the other eco tools you received in PR, they from a glance looked very nice. Also the small RT buffing brush, like the one you use alot and recommend, I placed an order with Ulta and it will be here in a day or 2! I'm so excited to get it and can't wait! Thanks for the video and I will see you soon...Ly!
I really like eco tools, they are so soft. I like the idea of the bigger brushes for keeping in my purse. But I don't think I will run out and get them. Thank you for your informative videos.
You could easily dress up as a beautiful fantasy elf (think lord of the rings) for Halloween. The way you left part of your hair falling forward while the rest was pulled behind your ears made me think of this. Lol
Thank you for doing this review. I like the eco tool brushes in general and have enjoyed using them. I would like this as well for on the go. Do you know if they are sold separately?
Great review, thanks! I’m not interested in that set. I did pick up the new ecotools set, Custom Match Duo. Have you seen or gotten that one? I haven’t tried it yet. I will this week!
TIP: With the "base" brush, you can slide the sleeve up for a denser brush effect. I found this trick useful with my Eco Tools travel kabuki brush. Multi-use brushes are awesome! 👍
I was thinking the same thing. Like the 4-in-1 eyeshadow brush by IT Cosmetics.
That’s a great tip!!!
I do the same and use it for contour then open it and blend it out 💋
I got a cheap travel elf brush and found that very effective to go from mineral foundation touch up to blush
Shout out to Emilly's comment section! Thank you, Emily, for creating a place to enjoy all the beauty human nature has to offer!

Awww, that's so nice! I agree, and you are a great example of how lovely her viewers are. 💕
I could work with this
very good point!!
Agree, Cause i dont redo blush for a touch up. i just add powder and lipstick and maybe blend a little if my concealer or eye look has creased
I always keep a stranded kit in my car!
Yes, I agree! Good point 💜
The thing that I like about your videos is it’s so unique.. no one talks about ecotools these days.. your ideas and vision about certain products is so unique.. you talk about things that other people don’t even bother to spent time on..
I’ve bought some EcoTools brushes and I think they are pretty good. I would love to see a review of the holidays brush sets!
Thank you for making this video! I have been seeing TONS of eco tools sets in stores and was really curious about them.
Could you do another uneditted video? I loved watching the full process and seeing how long it really takes to work with a certain product or make a certain look.
matcha3257 yes thank youu x
I suppose if your mascara has flaked you could use the spoolie to brush it away. Neat set!
I have a few brushes from Bare Minerals with the guards that I have enjoyed for years. Great for in my purse. You can load a brush with blush or powder before capping and you're ready for touch ups when you're out and about..
Exactly what I was thinking I would pre load those with product and just take the brushes alone.
Woah, what a great idea! I never would have thought of that. Thanks for the tip
Even beyond touch ups, if it had a fluffy brush then this could be used as a complete set of brushes for travel. That’s all it’s missing to be a full (although minimalistic) set of brushes.

This is great timing Emily. We’ve had a horrible shooting here and I needed some distraction. Thank you.
Just devastating. Listening to an update on the news as we speak. Sending a hug to you
Sending a hugh huge from Sweden, just saw the latest news. 😔
Lifting your community in prayer.
Oh man, how horrible, my prayers are with all involved! I’m Sorry 😐.
My thoughts are with you 💕
Emily I ordered the Ecotools 360 brushes about a month ago after watching your reviews and I LOVE them! They are very reasonably priced and good quality which is essential since no one is made of money. I like Ecotools for this. Thanks for the honest breakdown of this product.
I did too! I love the brushes and after my order came in, I re-watched the video for tips again!
@@ptsdrgn Yea, me too!
Emily, I agree - ditch the spoolie for a fluffy shadow brush. Hope Eco listens.
I've needed a spooly that never loses its cap in my bag. They get fuzzy and messy. My brows need retouching mid-afternoon. The concealer end will be for my lid and brow highlight and the angled end will refresh my brows and liner. The face brushes look perfect as well.
Really neat concept. I have no use for it but would be great for someone who travels a lot.
That would be great as travel brushes too!! I like the idea, but I agree with maybe having a fluffy eyeshadow brush
Thank you for a kind place to be, today is hard, what you do is appreciated. x
I had an Ecco Tools travel kabuki brush that was really nice. It came in a little aluminum canister with a cap. I used it for powder for years. EcoTools sponges are my favorite!!!!!
Great video, Emily! I would love to see a video about your current favorite drugstore brushes (eyes and face) or maybe review a variety of brush sets to see which ones are best? I know a lot of brands are coming out with brush sets for the holidays, too!
Can you do a video about old makeup and brushes and when we should toss things???
Walt, when did Emily hit 1M?!!! Can't think of anyone more deserving. Congratulations Emily, and thank you for not hiding your lamp under a bushel and letting it positively shine across YT.
Thank you Emily. I Would love to see more reviews on Ecotools brushes as they are available in the UK 🙂❤️ xx
I have a couple brushes with caps on. I really like them and I really like eco tools.
I don't have the Eco brush, but I got the ELF Retractable Kabuki Brush with my ELF points. It works perfectly with my Needs Palette.
you know what I would use that last little eye brush for is to clean around my lip line and perfect things when using a dark lip, could have used that today actually LOL! Love this set i think it would be nice purse item to have. Thanks Emily!
My problem w one-brush touch-ups is using the same brush for diff colors. I'd need a Colorswitch/similar thing or use paper towels so I don't mix the colors together. Thanks for the video though, you always have original and fresh ideas that are fun (and great time management on your part doing this before the rest of your day!)
I'd probably use the angled brush to add/touch up my brow color product.
I think it's a great idea, especially for on the go! I always carry concealer, powder and a brow pencil for touch ups, but my blush does seem to disappear later in the day so I like it the way it is. The concealer brush could be a bit bigger. I might get this! 👍😁
I use an angled brush like that for my brows with a shadow so it would be a nice brow touch up with the angled brush and spooley.
Great review. I don't need a spoolie. But I'd probably use a little brush for lipstick; I do sometimes use a brush for a lipstick.
A long time ago I purchased a Laura Geller brush brush that is retractable, and love it. Looking forward to seeing more of their brush sets. Blessings and love...MaryEllen

They could come out with a 3rd brush...something like a fluffy crease brush, something denser to pack color on and a small tapered brush for details...actually could make it 4 as both sides could be switchable.
I could see the spooly being used if you have specks of mascara or eyeshadow that flakes off you could use it scrub off without ruining your makeup
I wonder if the small brush could be a lipstick brush.
Mint that’s what I was thinking to with so many cute lip palettes I hate having to carry a lip brush. I do have a retractable one but it has such a finite purpose to take up space in my purse. What would’ve put this set over the top was if it included a tiny color swap pad but tissue will do.
Susan Stetson sounds like we’re on the same page! 😊
This would be great for when you are travelling, going to a conference or wedding. Just when you are about an about and help with a light touchup.
thank you for this review! i've been looking for a touch up kit to throw in my bag
can Use the Spooly to smooth fly away hair, just add a little lip balm and smooth down.
I'll keep an eye out for this, it looks perfect for my purse!
Emily, are you going to review Besame’s Mermaid Lagoon collection? It looks so beautiful!
Could you please do a video about a battle of beauty sponges? I feel like I haven’t found one that I like better than the original Beautyblender, but I’ve been seeing so many sponges come out with drugstore/more affordable brands. It would be nice to save some $$$ on my sponges!
I love the Shopmissa.com paw paw blender! It's $1.55 and so soft! My daughter loves it too.
those brushes are so cute!!! when you pulled out the blush brush side i literally squealed! i do agree though, a fluffier brush tip would've been more useful. i don't think i ever need a spoolie for touch-ups
The little spoolie would be great for people with lash extensions. in the morning I brush them into place with a spoolie but it would be nice to have one to go if I have an unruly lash!

Thanks Emily once again!!!
Emily can you do another Coastal scents video. I just placed an order on the hot pots and they are amazing.
Love this eye look! 😍❤️Do you have a tutorial already up or will you post one at some point?
My first ever brushes was an eco-tools travel set. I still love the cuts on those and it's too bad they couldn't have put some of those in this set.
I think think it's a good idea they come up with
Emily the only constructive criticism I have on your collab with Revolution. Oh, I love it now but that would be a dream come true.
looks interesting enough to take a shot with it. love ecotools to start with so that's a plus.
I'd love to see an update to your favorite brushes. I think this set is a great idea esp for travel. I love that they took the time to include a brush guard. I didn't even know they had these. Thank you for the info. ❤

Emily whats ur favorite favorite drugstore mascara? Preferably waterproof?
Im first!! So happy!!! Yayy new subbie referred from Kathleenlights!! So happy i found your channel💖
aw! That's great! Welcome to the family!
I love this brush brand.
Thank you Emily for this review.
I love Makeup Brushes and Tools.
I would love to see a review on all the brushes you received.
💄☕️🌷
I like the face brush a lot! I agree the spoolie is unnecessary. I will definitely pick it up when it's on sale.
Love this eye look, can we get a quick tutorial? It looks super simple but I can’t distinguish all the colors. This all in one brush looks so awesome especially for traveling!!! Thx for reviewing 👍🏻❤️
I can see those functioning better as travel brushes... do you have a video on your favorite travel brushes?
Omg I was eyeballing these! Thanks for the review!!!! ❤️
Hi Emily, I didn't know too much about Eco Tools. Thanks for doing this video.
When's your THE WANTED palette coming out again? I need it.
What a great idea , perfect gift for a makeup lover who has everything
I think that angled brush could easily be used with contour if going day to night. Maybe even bronzing the hairline as well.
Love your videos! Do you know if your Wants palette is coming back? I really want to get it.
I would love to see a review of their products! xoxo
I finally got my hands on the needs palette and I am loving it so far! I really hope that the wants palette comes back soon! 😘💜
If you use more of the ecotools brushes Id love to see a "best of" video! I live in sweden so cant find many brushes that are talked about but I can get ecotools but never tried them.
Wish you could collab on a necessity brush set with revolution or morphe etc

Love eco tools brushes, I've only recently started using them! Easily accessible in drugstores in the UK. I had a small set from my parents along with some other make up for finishing my Masters degree! Would love a full face review using only eco tools to see if I should invest in more!

That would be a nice couple brushes to add to a travel bag because the bristles would be protected and it wouldn't dirty a travel bag.
Wow I’m super early to this video. I was so jealous of that gigantic ecotools package from your vlog! I love brushes! I do agree with you that some sort of a crease brush would have made the eye brush part of this set more functional.
Yes please do more on the eco tools brushes I don’t think I need this set only the face brush. Thank you for sharing though 😊

Hi Emily, any chance you are going to review Huda Nude palette! I bought it and haven’t used it just waiting for your review! ❤️
I bought these right away - perfect for travel, I don’t really do “touch ups”. :)
You could easily dress up as a beautiful fantasy elf (think lord of the rings) for Halloween. The way you left part of your hair falling forward while the rest was pulled behind your ears made me think of this. Lol
The Profound Thought in your description box is something we all need to and should aspire to have in our lives!! Thank you for that Emily 💗😁👍
I'd love to see the ecotools videos! I'm really interested in the winter travel one. Thanks for doing this video! :D
How are these with cleaning? I notice that these kind of retractable brushes usually have a lot of shedding when and after cleaning/washing.
Personally, I wouldn't get any use out of this kit. I did, however, get the 360 kit you featured in a video a while back and really like it. TFS!
Thank you for doing this review. I like the eco tool brushes in general and have enjoyed using them. I would like this as well for on the go. Do you know if they are sold separately?
Could that eye brush work for lip touch-ups, I wonder?
Great review, thanks! I’m not interested in that set. I did pick up the new ecotools set, Custom Match Duo. Have you seen or gotten that one? I haven’t tried it yet. I will this week!
